    Excellent. The first video to explain interacting with the BTC Node.

    I am biased but I think everyone should run their own full node. It helps the network and it provides you with even more security and personal verification. The cost is minimal.

      I agree! But, it brings to mind something even more important. Freedom, privacy, security, wreaking the sociopathic run centralized economic system. Just for starters of course there's the whole making the world a better place. If you're into that kind of thing...
      I'm just sayin..

      Only Dr Adam Satoshi Nakamoto Back could have come up with this sh*t, but you are talking to the 0.01% of the human population who are obsessive, compulsive, semi-autistic computer nerds and tech geeks. Mr General Public is never going to use and adopt this, unless it is made far, far, far simpler and more user friendly.

    If I’m using a third party wallet, what’s the point in running bitcoin core? Wym trust someone else? Either way you need the transaction to be confirmed by miners so what’s the difference?
    I’m new to this so if you could give an in depth explanation please

      @discardingsabot5898 29 днів тому

      You have to join an exchange to open an account in your country probably and they'll have all your KYC. If you have the BTC, for instance you mined it, one can find an ATM or casino in another country and send the BTC to the machine for the local cash. Otherwise one would have to negotiate with the receiver to exchange something. El Salvador it's legal tender. You could convert to El Salvador"s fiat(paper) then buy dollars. Be aware many countries have alert signals for amounts converted.
