Thank you for watching and happy styling!
Sarah
I think you could have focused more on the common materials used for Sezane clothing. I've been buying from them for 3.5 years, and in the last couple years I can confidently say that they are now using viscose and polyester more (whereas most blouses used to be silk, cotton, or mohair). For the natural fabrics, I would say the price tag is worth it - but to spend 100 euros on all polyester? No way!
Thanks for watching and for your input. Happy St Patrick's Day! ☘️
I buy in sezane and I don't use polyester, acrylic and polyamide. What's more, I don't buy anything made outside of Europe. And yes, sezane has clothes with those characteristics and in the archives you can buy them at 50% so I don't see why you say this the truth. An embroidered cotton or silk blouse, quality manufacturing and European tell me where you buy it for less than 50 euros new because it does not exist
The customer service is flawless. ❤️
I totally agree! :)
That Chloe shirt is a gorgeous colour and so pretty! I just splashed out and ordered the navy Leontine jumper to be delivered to New Zealand and I love it ❤.
I'm obsessed with the Chloe shirt! Would love it in every colour. I do wish it was a bit longer though! Hope you love the jumper! Their knitwear is so cozy!
Such a nice presentation, Sarah ! Feels like trying the brand, nice that it is a French brand on top !
Thank you for watching Stephane. The timeless elegance of French style is certainly see in the brand that is Sezane :)
I love this brand. It’s classy and well made. I ditched Everlane because the quality is not there anymore. However, the Sézane brand is pricey but worth it.
I have never tried Everlane but good to know. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
Everlane has gotten so baggy as well. I don’t want to wear a potato sack. The dress pants from everlane have had seam issues for me personally so I would avoid those (like the dream pant)
I like Everlane jeans. The ankle length fits me perfectly but I wouldn’t compare Everlane to Sezane. Completely different vibe. Everlane is more akin to Uniqlo or Muji. They all love a potato sack there! Sezane is where I go when I laugh at Reformation’s ridiculous prices (they used to be somewhat affordable). I wish we had more French brands in the US like Claudie Pierlot. I don’t do online shopping. Sometimes & Other Stories fits the bill. Similar styles and price points. I haven’t yet found an affordable counterpart to Doen or Christy Dawn. Love their prairie vibes but $300+ for a cotton ditzy floral sack dress is silly.
i just discovered your channel and i love it!!!
Aw thank you so much. I am delighted to have you as part of the community here.
Howdy from Austin Texas🤠
I just discovered Sézane and I am very happy with the quality of my purchases so far. I also love the customer service and the ease of the return service. They send me an email with a print label and I drop it off at the UPS office. Very happy they do not use the US postal service.
Also, I just found your channel and I am looking forward to your content😊
Howdy! I love Texas but have never been to Austin. I believe it is an amazing city. Thank you for watching and being here. I have a fellow Texan just signed up to my online course starting next week. Great to hear you are happy with Sezane and their service in The US. I know there are quite a few people watching from across the Atlantic so I am sure they will be interested in reading your comments. :)
Thank you for this video!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for your review of the brand. I'm a fan too. One improvement on the content of this vid that I'd like to point out would be if you talked about the sizing of each piece you were presenting, eg. the Ann's and Chloe silk blouses in relation to your regular size / dimensions. Did you have to size up, size down etc.. .
I know you mentioned the knitwear but did not discuss other items in the same fashion throughout the video. :)
Great point thank you. The blouses were all true to size and, as mentioned, I found the knitwear sizes quite large. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment :)
It’s so easy to thrift similar pieces as theirs and with better materials! It’s crazy how many cute silk and wool pieces I’ve found for the low prices
So true! Lot's of quality pieces available in thrift stores :)
Some pieces are definitely worth the money and some definitely not!
I have been shopping at Sézane for almost 4 years now, I stay clear from polyester, nylon, viscose, acrylic fabrics which cheapens the item and don't stand the test of time.
I have A LOT of pieces from this brand, I love the design, the details in some of their pieces are just stunning !!!
When I have doubts regarding the longevity of some pieces, I'd have a look at the second hand market and take a closer look at how well (or bad) the items aged.
Thanks for your valuable input! There's so much on the second hand market, it's a great option when in doubt! :)
@Stunning beaute did you buy coates from them? I' m looking at one at the moment, 70% wool, but don't know whether it will be warm...Any experiences?
This was fantastic advice, thank you.
@@anabrdar8798 Sorry to get back to you so late, but I did buy a coat from them that I need to get tailored…so I haven’t worn it yet.
However, the Sezane addicts “the Sézanettes” as we call them in France, swear by the quality of the coats. I don’t know if the coats will keep you warm in a very cold winter but in my opinion, it’s worth trying! Maybe in addition to your sweater, double with a cashmere or wool cardigan underneath 🤷♀️😉
@@stunningbeaute1037 thanks for the answer, maybe I will try in the future. 😊
Thanks for this lovely review. It is so helpful since I never bought anything from their store before. Do you know if the bag specifically the Milo bag is well made and how it compares to the other mid range prices like Tory Burch and Coach? Also, does Sezane ever have promotions?
Thank you for watching. Unfortunately I can't comment on their bags as I've never owned one or seen them up close.
Thank you for your review, I own several shirts myself. Can you let me know how you wash your Sezane knitwear?
Thank you for watching. I usually hand wash my knitwear in tepid water unless otherwise stated in the care instructions. :)
I really would like to see the pieces on you. I can look this up myself, I know that is hard work, but need too see it
Keep an eye out for my follow up video this Sunday to see the items on me :)
I love sezane, have 7 pieces so far including two of the Chloe blouses you are wearing. The quality and fabrics are very good, they may seem a bit pricey but I’d rather have a few good pieces than lots of cheaper things that don’t last.
I agree Diane. What colours do you have in the Chloe blouses?
@@sarahryanthestylecoach navy and cream, love your hair by the way, just looked to see if my salon does the 12 week blow dry, they have something called the take home blow dry, I’ll have to ring them and see what that is, would be great to not have to worry about messing about with my hair, I’m very lazy with mine too.
@@dianesexton2697 I tried the navy too but wasn't a great colour for me. I loved my 12 week blow dry. I think it must be 12 weeks now and it still looks great. I think some salons call it the Brazilian blow out too. Same thing I'm sure. Let me know if you get it done and what you think!
What size did you get the Chlo shirt???
38 ☺️
Who do you recommend for cool/true winters? It's so hard purchasing cool winter colors online!
It's not really by shop, you just have to look out for your colours everywhere. The only shop I know that sell by colours is Kettlewell :)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach I’ve never heard of Kettlewell, so I’ll check it out. Thank you! You should do a clothing review for them!!
What size did you buy the Chloe shirt in, please?
Hi Trish. I bought it in a 38 and it fits perfectly.
Thanks so much, it looks amazing on you!
@@TrishONeillStyle Thank you, you are very kind for saying so.
Great job what is the name of the sweater? Thank you
Thank you. The raspberry colour sweater is called Lison :)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach I just ordered the blouse can’t wait to get it! Thank you
@@katherinewazuka6629 Oh super. I'd love to know your thoughts when you get it!
Checked out this brand recently. Cute styles but each dress I was interested in were made of 100% viscose at $150+. That is a rip off.
Viscose quite a nice sustainable alternative and vegan option if you are not into silk etc. I quite like it.
@@sarahryanthestylecoach It is cheap to produce and plenty of material out there states the production process is not “sustainable.” It is an affordable alternative to fabrics like silk. Yet, it is not affordable at Sezane. It should not be accompanied by an expensive price tag.
@@MistyyLou I agree.
You mention that one of the bluses you bought were a 100% silk, but I wish you would say a little more generally about the material/fabric they use. I think that a lot of their designs are beautiful, but I try to stick to natural fabrics and unfortunately that rules out most of the items, and so far I have not purcased anything from Sezane.
I find that they use a lot of natural fibres. You can easily find out more about what they use on their website.
IS IT REALLY WORTH THE MONEY? NO !
That would be a very short video.
I wouldn't go that far...
