I found the same - it's not so much that I want to look "age appropriate" as I am more authentic in my wardrobe regarding my life and lifestyle, what I really wear, and what I feel best in. I still will add some trend pieces, but I prefer classic styles I know I will look good in for the long haul

Imagine...someone saying "YOU LOOK DATED." But your husband says to you: "YOU LOOK GREAT...and I don't want you to change anything. " Whose advice should you LISTEN to? Especially if the person advising you actually WANTED your husband...but he was NOT INTERESTED in HER. GO FIGURE!

I am turning 41 soon and I am noticing my taste in fashion is changing.
