- Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, situated off of the north west coast of Africa.
We just spent 7 days in Tenerife, in the area of Playa De Las Americas and had an amazing time.
In this video I explain everything about which areas to stay, rental vehicles, what to do, accommodation, weather, restaurants and everything in between.
The steak house restaurant I mentioned was called Taurus and is near the main beach-front in Playa De Las Americas.
The comparison website we used was www.kayak.co.uk and the rental company was called Topcar
The hotel we stayed in was called Marylanza and we booked through TUI marylanza.com/en/
For a full guide on going to Mount Teide check out my other video • MOUNT TEIDE Tenerife ,...
you have a pleasant and clear voice.
Thank you very much 💙
I love the way you just jumped into the video! This video was super helpful in my decision on whether to go to Tenerife and also hire a car :)
Thank you 🙌🏻
Great video looks beautiful
Great video, very useful for my upcoming trip
Glad it helped!!
Helpful information. Thank you
Thank you
We drove up the 🌋 Vulcano in December, through the clouds, cable car to the Summit (2ft snow❄️ freezing), so wise words about taking a jacket.😁. Thanks for the vlog, going again in 3 weeks.
That sounds mad!! Definitely jacket weather. Enjoy your next trip and thanks for the comment! JB
I love going up there, i heard that you should go there at night to see all the stars, so planning to do that and make sure to wear warm clothes up there :D
Los Gigantis is beautiful, the drive from where we stay (Amarilla Golf) is breathtaking. I prefer Los Cristianos to Playa De La Americas and Costa Adeji. Costa Adeji is NOT quiet, not at Fanabe Beach, they have rave music playing where the double sunbeds are on the beach, you have music blasting from the shops too lol Not been out to Tenerife for 5 years , going there in 3 weeks and can't wait :D Great vid :D
Maybe I need to spend more time in Adeje then haha! Next time I'm there I'll check out Gigantes. Enjoy your trip!
los christianos ferries only go to la gomera and the cruise ships only come in up north in santa cruz but great video none the less .
Great to know buddy, thanks! I did think that might be the case after posting, thanks for confirming!
They go to la palma and hierro from los cristianos too,3 islands
Quick question was there any deposit to pay for the car ? If there was how much was it ?
I don’t think there was, they just told us the rules beforehand and told us to slow down if we went a bit too Colin McRae 🤣
@@joshbonthemove hahahah 😂 awesome thanks a lot
what is the strange and loud background noise or music?
It’s music
How much did u pay
I can’t remember now, I think around £800pp for 7 days (flights included)
How is it possible that an island off the coast of west Africa belongs to Spain?
how you think?
I don’t know the ins and outs but like most territories, conflict often decides who takes control… Google says this; “The Spanish forces began their conquest of the Canaries in 1402. The islands fell one by one, the last one being Tenerife, which was finally conquered after heavy Spanish losses in July 1496.”
Loud bursts of music killed this video for me, shame.
This was my third video ever, still learning the ropes even now, could just turn it down 👍🏻
too much talk not enough content
*For you :)
Thanks for the comment
Talking is still content jeez how rude
