Could a clogged vw Passat B6 air filter cause a check engine light P0171? I have tried several things (smoke machine etc...) could not find a leak anywhere!?
First off what engine do you have And what scanner are you using...my P0171 is because of the catalytic converter I have a high flow cat now and its giving me that code...

Yeah the grommets do suck on these mine are about wore out so it's really easy for me.. but about to do a cold air intake soon
