I bought a new cabin filter for my 2006 VW Passat but it does not fit. Surprisingly, the airflow arrows of the two filters are in opposite directions. The new one is also a little thicker than the old one in the cabin. Also, one is made in China that fits and the other one made in Poland does not fit. The other one sold at Wal Mart is as thick as the one made in Poland. I do not know what to do.
@@CashedOutCars I tried to do it but I couldn't. As I said, the arrow showing the flow of the air is different from each other. Nothing works. Thank you.

Try to gently force it in there, it should go. Sometimes they’re a bit tight

@tranhau3818 they go in one way , no need follow the arrows. My nissan altima has the arrows wrong also. Just too let you know
Thx
No problem!
@@CashedOutCars so this is located under the passenger seat of the glovebox and I have to remove the plastic cover as well?!
What mileage did u change
Where does the air get drawn in from? Try to spray lysol to remove smells but can't find the place under the hood from where the air is drawn in
Turn on your air recirculation and spray in where this filter is!
@@CashedOutCars i never use that, do i need a new air cabin filter? i dont smell anything on road except dead skunks usually
Well damn why so difficult to put that in. That's a German car for you
