This song relates to almost everything going on in my life and I can't help crying uncontrollably when I hear it. It's the best song ever made, to me at least, for that catharsis alone, and pure genius in every way and what a gorgeous video. Each time I cry less and smile more when listening/watching it. This is Frazey Ford at her stunningly raw and beautiful best. The song is gut achingly honest, the performance is gorgeous and the video is fantastic. The whole experience is like hanging out with your best girlfriends while talking through a rough break up over sangria in your yard.

I dont know how I missed your music 8 years ago. Wth. You are incredible. The rhythms are lovely i LOVE the brass and the 60s organ. Hell yes. Your songs are just wonderful. My son introduced me to you several days ago. And I asked him "how in tje world did we miss this?" Motown is my favorite music. I've loved this song since shortly after it was released and I saw the video on UA-cam. I hadn't really ever been aware of her music with her former band The Be Good Tanyas, but I like that sort of roots music they did, it was good stuff with amazing vocal harmonies. But this song, this whole album....amazingly breathtaking. I should have commented this 7 years ago. This song became my anthem too, after ending an insidiously abusive relationship with a narcissist / psychopath, and then being covertly stalked and harassed for years afterwards. Some days it was the only thing that gave me the strength to carry on, all the fighting and defending myself and having to bend over backwards trying to keep myself safe. I need to say, and this is a long time in coming, thanks Frazey, for this song, and thanks for being you. You're beautiful,just gorgeous, and your song totally rocks. The inclusion of those brothers from Al Green's band in Memphis was genius as well, what a sound you all created together, so soulful, such beautiful melodies, I'm just in awe of you and your musical talent and voice. Bravo!!!!!! Oh, and I almost forgot - love the flowered jumpsuit - it looks fabulous on you. All of your wardrobe in the video was awesome. Peace and love always, sister.
