It's a beautiful unusually warm winter afternoon on the Southern NSW coast. I geared up and hit the beach and was rewarded with some excellent fishing.
Thanks for replying. I've never had much luck on the surf fishing but this vids got me excited to try the surf again soon. Keen to try your lure on the surf. Thanks mate
@ckingoner6675 What town are you fishing in? Just go light and stay mobile. Sometimes you just have to keep working up the beach till you find where they are holding. Typically the longer beaches fish better than the short little ones, as the fish tend to swim headland to headland. Where the long beaches the fish will move closer into shore and hunt along them.
@NickReaysOutdoorChronicles I have tried day fishing down Jervis Bay area but never really understood how to read the shore for where the holes and gutters are. I'm from western Sydney but fish alot down Wollongong, Port Kembla, Kiama. I've tried fishing off the beach at Jervis Bay, Vincentia, but only the 1 or 2 day trips. When I don't catch with the kids after an hour or so we give up and end up hitting the boat ramps. I've done alright here and there but never catch a feed unless I get to go out with my bros on the boat with something to eat.
@NickReaysOutdoorChronicles mine and my boys fishing day would be done if we caught 1 or 2 of those Sal's or choppers you caught on your little walk on your local beach. Ahaha. Me and my 2 boys are keen to hit the beach next hot day we have here in sydney
Good to see some fresh relevant content for us on the east coast of Australia keep the videos coming mate.
@ckingoner6675 Thanks mate, that's the plan, this is only just the beginning.
winter beach fishing for us all . the australian salmon and tailor about all we can get our hands on ay
The beaches would be pretty quiet places to fish if it weren't for the bread and butter.
Very informative

Personally, I'd have brought along an esky with ice ...
@philippinestroppoholic7996 This beach is only a short distance from home, fresh is best.
