    This is great, I used something like this for DC circuits; however, AC circuits use imaginary numbers so TI calculators will throw a fit when trying to use the i symbol.

      That depends on which model you have. The 83 and 84 have issues, but the older 85 and 86 work well, as does the 89 and newer models. The 89 uses the "i" while the 85 and 86 use an alternate representation with parentheses, e.g. 10-j30 is entered as (10,-30).
