How To Flush The FJR1300 Clutch Fluid
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 лют 2025
- This shows you the simple procedures to flushing your FJR1300 clutch fluid. It needs to be done periodically regardless of miles, for best performance. You can pump it manually, use speedbleeders or a mighty-vac pump like I have, whatever you prefer. It's as simple as a fluid system gets, one line.

Mr. Obsession thanks for the video! Whenever I do a brake flush on my cars or bikes (14 Yam FJR & 14 Honda VFR) I use an inexpensive turkey baster to suck out the old fluid from the reservoir first and then fill it up with new fluid. That way it starts drawing new fluid into the lines right away when I start the flush/bleed process. Ride On!!!
Thanks for all the help this morning .... bike is running great.
+Tom FJR Cool!
Love all your videos...except this one. You skipped the whole process and jumped right to clean up.
Finally that Algebra book comes in handy. It does a better job at the garage than terrorizing kids.
if i do not have the vacuum pump, can i just pump the clutch and then hold it and open the nut and back again the same step?
For sure. Just be sure you close the nut before each pressure pulse is done. One oops and you suck in air.
haha thanks, its the same as the brakes. :) thanks for your abs activating clip, i just done the brake and clutch fluid. used almost 500ml!!!
In total how much brake fluid you had used for brakes and clutch flush?
I think the next round, will need to get additional one 1 bottle, just in case.
@@TwoWheelObsession I guess I did suck in air while I was doing this, any idea how the get rid of those bubbles? I don't mind starting it over I just wanna make sure the line has no air in it. (btw, I don't have the vacuum tool)
His fluid was nasty. Mine was only 2 years old and looked really good in my clutch and brakes. I couldn't really tell when I got to the fresh.
