I can agree with this for the new Corolla. The one this one replaced was just horribly dated and reminded me of a rental car fleet. Either way, glad to see Toyota gave the Corolla’s interior a serious revamp.
@@xxk4rilsxx test drove both, the camry is much smoother and refined, feel much more luxurious unlike the older gen they feel similar. Imo the 8k difference in orice is worth it.
@@huyryo I ended up test driving a 2020 Corolla XSE CVT/Manual and honestly both are impressive. I really enjoyed the stick with the iMT mode, the car feels lightweight and peppy. Steering and suspension feel is finally alive and not numb. But I Agree, the Camry drove much smoother/quieter/still got 41 mpg on the highway. I ended up getting another 2019 Camry but XSE this time with black leather /Heads up display / JBL sound system / Pano roof. I’m in love.

Annoying things: The driver exterior mirror HEATER pushbutton is right next to the door lock button so you accidentally turn on the mirror heater easily; the center console has a sliding top that slides annoying when you are getting into the car and grabbing onto the center console to stabilize yourself; the screen in the center of the dashboard (control screen) is kind of ugly, seems kind of dated in appearance, and it's stationary - you cannot fold it away out of sight; it should have a Garmin navigator instead of the one it has; // overall a good car. Get an XSE package.
The nameplate yes, but the newest version really hasnt been around quite long enough to make that declaration. Even though it adds a bit of complexity, I am happy Toyota decided on dual fuel injection (direct and port) as that will eliminate the carbon buildup issues plagueing many direct injection only engines. Manual is the only way to go with this car however. Toyota may be known for reliability, but a CVT with a normal torque converted first gear sounds like potential trouble as the years and mileage pile up..and will not be cheap to replace out of warranty.
Ended up getting the SE, it’s honestly a really great daily! Enjoy the little pep it has, it’s comfy, great passenger and trunk space. I can’t complain.

Outside look good overall but inside I hate the dash board deshin plus that screen that looks stuck on and ruins it even more I think they could've had made the dash abit more classy like the auris has or older corollas were. Also I think there should be a full petrol versions that are more powerful like the old T sport corollas.

I picked the Corolla SE over the Civic EX because of the screen. So much easier to see and use. But I get it, it’s not for everyone.
