Im on a norden-901-expedition-2024 and the oe bash plate is good but let down by the front 'V' bracket bending enough to let the guard contact the radiator
Looks nice, but I think all the holes and side brackets sticking out will hang up on things. I got the Touratech RALLYEFORM and I like it because it also attaches to the footpeg mounts (can't see if this does), but has a much smoother bottom and sides and the tank covers are separate and can be replaced if needed. I've painted the base black and the tank covers KTM orange. Nice skidplate though, it's good to give people options!
Interesting to see that Touratech recommends you fit their upper & lower crash bars to protect the bike with their bash plate, that rings alarm bells, unlike the B & B plate that doesn't require crash bars
It looks very nice however one of the features on many other skid plates uses one of the foot peg mounts to secure things. If you go to 1:25 on the attached video you can see a problem with things shifting around. ua-cam.com/video/nWYsStImC0E/v-deo.html
Thanks for your feedback, mate. We are aware of the foot peg movement issue. We implemented mounting to the foot peg on our previous model design to find the bracket attachment to the foot peg interferes with the fitment of KTM centre stands and possibly other brands, which a major chunk of our customers want the centre stand. Cheers
@@seandavid288 No worries Sean. You may have already seen our reply to another comment on this video and the reasoning behind our decision not to mount to the footpeg.

Yeah, that's a shame.

Love the robust design but lack of footpeg mount keeps me from getting one.
@@seandavid288 Me too and here is why.
