Maybe a dump question, but with all these big pedal board like the headrush, helix etc... do you plug this on any amp "clean" channel and then get different sound applied to the said amp clean channel? In my case i have a marshall jvm 4 channel so if i get this pedal, the 3 non clean channel of my amp became useless?
Yes, the simplest way that you plug it in front of the Marshall or to the Return of the Marshall. There are 2 ways if you want to use the channels of your Marshall. 1- Guitar->MultiEF input Multi Send->Marshall input Marshall send ->Multi Return Multi out-> Marshall Return 2- In case you only need the MOD effects + Delay+ Reverb (no amp model, wah, etc...) Just go straight to the Marshall input and then the multi just into the send-return of the Marshall.
I have bought a headrush mx5 and brought it to Brazil... 2 mouths of use it stopped working and they didn't pay me back... desapoited with Headhush.... I should buy a Hotone
I always wonder if I can connect the pedal via usb and record, but still being able to monitor the sound through my audio interface at the same time in Cubase
If you connect the MX5 (or any other multiFX unit/modeler that can be used as an interface) for recording into your DAW, you will need to set your primary audio interface as the MX5. Technically, you could set your input device as the MX5 and the output device as another interface you may have connected (like a Focusrite Scarlett or other USB interface), but you would introduce significant amounts of latency. That said, if you were monitoring your playing through the MX5 (using headphones connected to the unit), you would be able to track with no latency, but if you wanted to play along with any other tracks you have in your DAW session, then you would have to deal with latency. But remember that if you have the MX5 as your primary interface (both input and output, via ASIO), if you playback anything in your session, it will just come through the MX5 out into headphones (or whatever you have connected to it for playback, like studio monitors). It works just like any other interface in that way, so there isn't really a reason to use another interface at the same time. What I do is track with my multiFX/modeler set as the primary interface, and then after I'm done tracking I switch to my desktop interface (steinberg UR22C in my case) for editing and mixing.
There's no real knowing until you actually play one. Cerainly though I did notice the desk vibrating more when it was going through a real amp and cab, none of the DI'ed sounds did that.
they have big brother versions of this. I have one and I rarely use it anymore. This one fits in my backpack and weighs less than my laptop. It's great for travel and it sounds amazing.

Thank you for connecting this in front of a clean amp! Great for those of us looking to replace our boards.
That initial demo song sounds fantastic... great job.
It’s actually called “that initial demo song” !
i like how the "MAIN" knob goes up to 11 lol
Hahaha 🤣
Just noticed that…..😎
Finally found it

I just bought it! Very excited to use :)
Hi. How are you finding the HeadRush MX5 after using it? Cheers
Thank you so much! I depend on your videos for new gear to hear how it sounds in the cleanest way. Best Wishes and Best Regards!
Great demo. You really showed some of the things I had been looking for.
Holy shit. This is the real deal

nice demo, can you show how to set harmonizer on NUXMG30 for Joe satriani's WHY song?
thanks for this.
Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap would use this pedal without a doubt.
Nice video, nice playing. Compared to the BOSS GT 1000 Core which one has the best dynamic playing feel?
I had Headrush Gigboard and still considering it was my big mistake. Couldn't tweak any really descent sound. I go for Boss it every situation.
Have you hot USB and led s problem with headrush??😢
Great playing!!!
Quite amazing tech.
Thank you!
This replaces regular pedals huh? Goes from your guitar into a tube amp?
Awesome demo, I just don't understand why not using the MX5 as interface instead of apollo
Can I just plug my headphones and jam with it? If so, how is the sound quality?
Yes
absolutely and depends on quality of headphones. I have a decent set of audio technica's I really like and it sounds great.

“12 MESES”
Sold!
Sounds tinny add the the high gain sounds sound like a 1000 bees in a coffee can... I wanted to LOVE this pedal
Sounds like absolute dog s**t. But it is as if no one notices. I assume they are too dazzled by a touchscreen in 2021.
I wonder if they adjusted anything. Because presets in just about every modeling pedal sound awful. They usually have too much treble and sound thin.
Hmm, this vs Pod Go??? Can't decide
Main output on max? Why use it into an interface? Isn't there a usb output to go directly into a computer?
Does it include any acoustic IR’s or amp models? Great demo as usual 👍
It includes all the same features as the bigger Pedalboard and Gigboard
It has an acoustic sim
@@jesus4pincho thanks Jesus
Unfortunately, the output is still not balanced
why you use the 1/4 Stereo TRS to 1/4 TS cable in your rig? what the different if we use TS mono cable in left (mono) output only?
Need this one
I notice the master volume is pegged… can you explain the chain you are using and reason?

Only 3 fs, a very smaller touch screen and a tiny expression pedal...At the same price, I prefer the GigBoard...
i just ordered it specifically for its smaller form factor and the expression pedal.
What do you mean same price? I was about to buy a Gigboard then this came out 200 bucks cheaper. Bought it without a doubt.
I may be the only one who thinks the out of phase Strat sound is nauseating.
I did put the return fx loop on my tube amp and suddenly my mx5 died.
None of these tones inspires me to buy this.
