Right on! I just don't understand why people have to say f this, or f that! Especially young ladies, it's unbecoming and I guess they just don't realize it. When my children were small I have asked a few people to please stop cursing so loudly beside my children. I explained how easily they pick up words and repeat it, but it's also a respect thing- something very few have anymore.
I worked at Walmart when I was in the first four years of my MFA degree. I worked three locations and from regular staff to a manager. I can attest we mark down thousands of products everyday in the computer, some are automatic too - the district marks down discontinued UPCs for flavors, sizes, etc from manufacturers. Only 1 person from each department can make time to go around and do price changes. Some price changes don't even get done until the shelf is rearranged overnight to make room for new products. Some products are in the backroom in a "bin" (inventory slot) without being binned (marked to be their by the computer) so they pass their time and we find them when we are doing monthly inventories to areas (usually one area a month) and we'd mark them down and put them on the sales floor. There are so many products and focusing on making sure things are on selves is too much for more stores, let alone changing all the prices. Another great tip to know is that inventory is done (depending on the state) around early spring late winter (march 1st - may 1st) so in order to not have to pay the inventory people from another company to count longer, we'd try and mark down everything that was going to be discontinued or was seasonal. We'd also clean the backroom and try to find anything lost in bins, so around that time you'll find $1 shirts, $0.10 candy bars, out of season products etc. If something comes to us from a warehouse that is not for our store (like once we got a brand unknown box of cooking spray) and we have to add it to the system, most people will mark it whatever they want for the price as long as it is over a penny. If I had someone like that I'd make is $0.01 to $0.10. I was an inventory manager, and I mainly handled clearance and product organization.

You are kind hearted to share these tips to save on our purchases. Ignore people that say you are switching prices. I've tried your tips and it works.
Also a good way to save time scanning everything check the clearance tag date. If the date is from a while ago you have better odds of things being cheaper when scanned.

You changed my life girl. Walmart clearance shopping had me leave with $40 worth of product for $2.57.
Only down side is the cashier tried to tell me they don't accept printable coupons.
I found some stuff on the little hanging displays on the toy isles , found a unicorn horn for .25c, sequin flip braclets for .50c , and a conffeti shooter for $1 , I also found a 10c kitchen towel . Lol I had fun looking .
I was able to get a lot of women’s support undergarments for 1.00 each at my store. Reg prices were 8.00 to 21.00.
I got a swim suit that is usually $29 marked down to $15 and I paid $1 last weekend. I was amazed!
I'm a Walmart employee and use the app in any store when something is out of place to verify prices for costomers and for clearance that's not labeled( some stores have full isles of clearance) and Target app works the same way!!

this is great people just need to make sure that when they're scanning items are not scanning the sale sticker they're scanning the original barcode on the item.
At most of the stores in my city you have to scan the yellow barcode. I messed up yesterday scanning the original when checking out and it kept saying "item not found". Even though most of the employees will tell you to scan original barcode also.

When you put the name in only put the brand name in, because I found multiple items of garier for .25 or .50
When you scan items using the Walmart app using your Walmart's location that is the actual price you'll pay. I have learned this first hand. I went to the register and the associate had to get the manager to come over and change the price, the manager apologized that it had been happening all day. The clearance that was put in the main aisle was never changed in this Walmart's internal pricing system, so it had to be taken care of manually by managers all day.

I didn't know prisoners had to work to pay for thier meals and accommodation. That's fantastic news, they probably won't earn enough to cover the legal costs, and the accumulated costs for thier stay in prison but at least the tax payers bill will be a little lower. They should do this in the UK too, then maybe prison time would taken more seriously by the serial offenders rather than like they "it's a piece of cake like going on holiday with the boys" ? 👍👍
@@scottyg4605 i am no expert on this issue, but actually, i think prisoner pay is the closest that you can come to slave labor. prisons aren't using the work as a rehab, career/skills development, or as a deterrent. prisons are apparently getting very lucrative contracts, in some instances, and paying prisoners pennies. this provides an incentive to keep prisons full - they need bodies. it would be better if prisoners made at least minimum wage or something close to it, part of which could be used to offset the cost of their care, but the rest they could use for commissary items, incidentals, child support payments (if applicable), and savings they can use upon release, for things like clothing, housing, probation/parole fees, etc. prisoners who are serving long sentences or life sentences, or who die while incarcerated should be able to support their families, if they choose, with the fruit of their labors. prison shouldn't be a country club, but it also shouldn't be a modern plantation.
@@katrinab7657 I did 10 years in Texas and rehab starts in the prisoner first and convicts can learn skills, tradeand get there G.E.D to make them be a better individual asset to our society... so to make everything short be glad that those bed sheets you have on your bed are clean and warm but a plantation NO not all. That's how the white man wants us to think.. not me I became better and more smarter. I bet the system by not returning back and relay on my skills to keep the doors close..
