Update! I found another rebate! Thank you to the viewer that made me aware of the $1 saving star rebate. So I spent $1.04 for everything! Leaving us with $8.96 left to do a few more hauls for the month.
$10 a month for Dinner Groceries? If you had to make it work could you?
We spent $1.04 on Everything purchased in this trip.
After everything purchased, imagine having $7.94 left to create similar hauls with additional necessary items.
The following things will last a month or more:
    -Pasta Sauce
    -Tea
    -Deodorant
    -Shampoo
-Yogurt*(enough to add to lunch for about 2 weeks)
What would need to be added?
    -Beans?
We could get these FREE or cheap in am upcoming sale. (they were free last week with coupons. They are .29 this week at Publix and other stores. And they will likely be FREE again soon)
    -Pasta?
(Pasta will be .50 with coupons at Publix in a few days. Plus its often cheaper than that several times throughout the year)
    -Meat?
    - Browse the meat section at your local store. look for discounted meat to stay within a specified budget. Use meat as a side rather than an entree. Try meatless meals a few times a week to balance it out.
All in all, we spent $2.04.
With over $7 left to create a similar haul for pasta and meal, we could have dinner for a month easily.

I am a publix cashier and I got to say THANK YOU for carefully reading your manufacture's coupons! Many people don't do that and we take quiet a bit of time trying to explain per item/per purchase/quantity/or size restrictions. I live on a budget too, so I enjoy and take notice of the coupons that are out there and when i know there's an item in our sales ad (the green or purple fliers at our stores) a customer's bought I will apply that coupon whether or not they've clipped it. You and your viewers may not be aware of this but at publix, each register is supposed to keep a current copy of all three fliers on hand for customer convenience if you've forgotten to grab one AND each publix will also take coupons from grocery competitors they are near on top of manufacture and store coupons.

You don't need to buy just store brand or off brand items. Most of what I buy is name brand. I shop sales, use coupons, & shop not just supermarkets (which overall have better deals than any store with Dollar in their name or Aldis). I bought name brand pasta for $0.49 a box last week. I've bought crackers for $0.49 (& sometimes for free either at the store with double coupon days &/or rebate apps), I've literally paid no money for sausages/hot dogs & so many other items including produce. It's about eating & spending money on what you must. Store brands are actually higher than name brands many times now. My brother shops with me many times & has been noticing that. It's crazy, but it's true. @@Azrael_Garou

I think a lot of people missed the point of this video. Yeah, she bought some stuff that doesn't individually seem to work together, like a bunch of pasta sauce and shampoo/deodorant. However, nobody can deny that she still ended up spending about 5 dollars on a bunch of stuff that would have originally cost like 45 bucks. She still had massive savings, no matter how you cut it. She could take those extra savings and spend it on a ton of other stuff, and still walk away with a month of food for under 50 bucks. That's awesome.

@@eggheadusa9900 Not every body in the world is scum for trying to help people save money! Trust me, working a job with bi-weekly pay, and maybe just maybe getting enough hours where you might be lucky enough to make about $200-600 biweekly won't be enough money after bills, rent, buying pet supplies if you have any pets. And if you are an 19 year old who has to pay loans and fines, yeah! Saving money extremely comes in handy! It isn't called being scum just because you can't afford losing an extra dollar, it doesn't make someone like me who can't afford that is scum! Doesn't make me any less than you, or a rich person who can afford to lose a dollar! No one is less than or more than anyone! No one is scum for trying to help others out! Only the weakest of minds will see it that way, and with a mind set like that you'll miss out on the greater good 👍 👍

She says eat good without sacrificing the foods you love, on a low low budget, that being said the video should of been showing us the different meals she buys for a week/month for 10$. That is the whole purpose of the video! I understand what she is saying but also she needs to be more clear on exactly what she is saying and showing us! Yes it's about saving, eating good all month with foods you love, then show us how you buy for a month with foods you love on a $$10 budget, or is sauce pasta, noodles for dinner all month?

1st - who cares if you are actually broke anyway. I make decent money, but i use every coupon i can. why spend more than necessary on something when you can spend that money on something else or just save for the future. It's your money, keep it when you can. I think when i end up saving $5 that is an extra time i can stop at Mcdonald's or whatever. I dont care if something thinks I am broke when I am eating that McRib. mmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!

Update! I found another rebate! Thank you to the viewer that made me aware of the $1 saving star rebate. So I spent $1.04 for everything! Leaving us with $8.96 left to do a few more hauls for the month.
All in all, we spent $1.04.
With over $8 left to create a similar haul for pasta and meat, we could have dinner for a month easily.
$10 a month for Dinner Groceries? If you had to make it work could you?
We spent $1.04 on Everything purchased in this trip.
After everything purchased, imagine having $8.94 left to create similar hauls with additional necessary items.

We actually save more money now because we don’t waste food, go out to eat, we use things up and look for ways to make extra money. I think even when he does find a job we will be much more financially responsible and need less to live on. Just for the experience.

We were able to get debt free years ago.(YAY!0 Starting at age 24, we started to put $20 in a savings account each week. When we saved enough to get a CD (certificate of deposit) and we continued to save $20 per week and doing this for several years, we built a great retiremennt package for ourselves!

I think this is awesome. I work at Chick-fil-A and go to college, and trying to pay my bills with that is really difficult. Especially when you add in groceries and gas. I didn’t realize how much every dollar counted until I stopped getting Starbucks and eating fast food and I was having extra money in my account because I wasn’t spending it. Sure it’s just pasta sauce, tea, yogurt, shampoo and deodorant, but shampoo can be expensive!!! Yogurt is expensive too. And if you can get 8 bottles of sauce marked down that much, that means you have plenty of it and all you have to buy is the meat or whatever else you want in the pasta with the 8 dollars you have left (checked the description for price update). So I mean, depending on what kind of coupons you get, you can save money and eat well. And the time it takes to do all that other stuff that they recommend like making things from scratch. Oh my word. Tried that one time. It’d be cheaper to just go to work in the time that I spent trying to save money by making the stuff.

I love this people talking about it's just a dollar thoes dollars add up. I put gas in my car every other week but I get 3 or 5 dollar tips at my job from saving thoes for a week or so I have gas in my car and money to add to my budget. Work smarter not harder guys

Yes, those dollars add up for something you can use. Went back to the store because I forgot to give the coupon to the cashier for an item I purchased. Customer service returned the dollar to me cause I had my receipt to prove I purchased item the previous day.
My daughter was "like Mom really"
Hey, it's my money. Heard the little poem. Poor little Ida sittin on the fence. Trying to make a dollar out of 99 cents. It all counts!🌮😆

They do. I know people who trashy their bottles, sometimes I’m able to save them before they go in the trash, and a few times when they had family over I’ve gotten $10 or more back. Other times maybe 3 bottles=30cents,or more.
Bothers me so much I mean if they’re too good for it then fine but they don’t even let me take them back unless sometimes when it’s a huge party they might save most of them. But I mean it’s ruining the earth sitting in landfills. At least take it to the store and leave it in a cart for someone else who needs it. .
The reason I think people were complaining about the $1 in this video though is because it cost more in gas money to go back and get it,so she ended up wasting money.

That's not necessarily true. Although sales for healthy food come around a lot list, they do exist. As you see in this video we got organic baby yogurt. In my latest video we were able to get free vegan food.

Girl what are you eating? I eat an extremely clean diet consisting of mostly fruits, veg, coffee, tea, water, whole wheat breads and sweet potatoes, brown rice, beans, wheat pastas, lean meats (i buy whats on sale that week), fresh eggs, nut milk, and it's FAR cheaper than buying extremely bleached and processed items. Idk what kind of healthy food youre eating but my fridge is always full and for cheap due to the bulk of my foods being plants, which are usually cheaper. You can get like 5 corn cobs for $1. A huge bunch of kale for 99 cents. Kiwis are 4 for $1. Mangos 10 for 10. Etc.

GURL you are IT for me! I have been searching for years to try to understand 'Couponing'. I live in the UK, and we don't have all of this, but I do visit the U.S. regularly and why should I miss out on all the bargains. So I watch videos and try to pick up tips for Couponing when I get back to the States. Yours is the first Channel that actually 'slowly and clearly' explains the process. I have watched the KrazyCouponLady ... and even though they are good, sometimes they don't clearly explain what to do. You made it so easy and now I understand what 'Overage and Money Makers' are; plus I also now know how to 'Stack Coupons'! Thanks Sis .... New Subbie from LONDON UK. Thumbs up xx K

Exactly time is money. I'm a single mom who recently retired from military & I joined this couponing journey for financial freedom as well. I have done pretty well with household/personal items. However I need to figure out food. Wish we had a publix , however can you do grocery senerios at stores stores accessible everywhere like at Walmart for instance. Just hearing about super couponing at Harris teeter need to inquiry with a manager as too how often that happens & add 2 my calendar. TFS.

Some stores do double coupons on certain days. Either The Krazy Coupon Lady, or another one, mentioned going to stores and getting their policy.
I was disappointed with Harris Teeter because, for example, unlike our local store, if they say buy one get one free, you had to buy both. The local store gives you 50% off, even if you only buy one.

As someone who has worked as a Publix cashier for over 8 years in 3 different stores, I can tell you this: Publix coupons out of the green ad (like you used in the video) only need to be keyed in and we actually DO NOT need the physical coupon since we just a look-up code at the bottom right. Think of it this way, Publix cashiers scan the barcodes on manufacturer's/vendor coupons and collect them so that the store can make money back from the company, but Publix coupons don't have those barcodes, because it's Publix and Publix won't ask Publix for money back. ;)
I used to bring a pair of scissors to work so I could cut coupons when people would be lazy and throw the whole ad at me, until one of the customer service employees (who count every cashier's coupon bags twice per day) told me that we don't need more than one, and really, don't even need the one to begin with. She told me that a lot of people who work at Publix don't know that though, so that's why you'll get different answers when you ask at different stores. :) Hope this helps!
