Aside from obviously being the brightest of the bunch at this gathering, @TheSimonEvans consistantly has elevated comedy by applying his humor to substantive topics ..including public policy & economics (BBCRadio4 --'SimonEvans Goes To Market'). His Telegraph pieces should be part of an essay collection. And were he to take a few-to-several years representing his district in Parliament (for maybe UKIP?) ...his maiden speech would be 'one for the ages'.
@@bobsyerunkle5638 I've employed Ava to do gigs for me in [retracted] part of the world. She was actually hilarious and the crowd loved her but she went downhill when she got woke and bitter towards the comedy world. Same thing happened to Hannah Gadsby. Killed the gig I brought her over for...Super funny then decided she hated comedy. Pity.
Couldn’t believe there was a woman with a gurgling toddler there - unbelievable- what is wrong with people , complete sense of entitlement- get a baby sitter love or stay at home
Why? That's a line on inspirational posters but there is no explanation of why acting on bad choices is better than wishing you had. Maybe in real life it is better to make good choices and not indulge in vain regrets at all. Not as catchy, I admit. :)

A remarkably articulate speaker, as well as a very clever comedian.
Wonderful to listen to an intelligent guy👍
A joy to listen to some one so articulate and intelligent
I do like him, only found him recently but he does make me laugh, and that's good!
Simon Evans should take up politics, he'd be a good orator in parliament
you're about 15 years too late!
He's certainly got the qualifications. A comedian and good talker.
Faz ....and trained as a lawyer😂
I propose Simon Evans as next Leader of the House of Commons. It would be so much more fun, direct and to the cutting edge.
I love that guy. He's very intelligent. If he didn't go to Oxford, he should have done.
Should OF done, I think you say here!

Speaker of the house. Just to keep the members in line.
Just great!
We regret the things we didn`t do;
we have remorse for the things we wish we hadn`t done.
Well said.

He's too clever for UKIP
Well said Simon lad
My only regret is that ive always lacked the ability to wish id done things differently.
Why would you bring a child to this ? Unless you needed to bring something to make yourself feel important?
Don't knock - it might be her greatest achievement.

So articulate and very funny. He presents a right wing viewpoint in such a witty way.
Oops - he's using his standup material in this. Still good though !

Good on the baby for bringing along parent(s) and wanting to voice its presence!
A completely silent and very well behaved toddler .

How can that make any sense?

Greed may motivate you but will it make you a better person?
That's up to you, surely.
Who took that kid! Get out!
Simon Evans is so funny in this. Perhaps Oxford students are a bit too highbrow for actual comedy.
The un-laughing guy in the background 😑
Aaaaand then... Simon said nothing at all, merely regurgitated some 10 year old stand-up. Meh.
🙌😂👍🇦🇺
meh....
