This is not to oxygenate but suck the dirty water into filtration.
But yes you can add longer pipe.

Does your locally made RAS system use electricity. Do you need special stones for the filtration. Do you have to change the stones? Do you change the water or the stones filters the water enough.

Thanks for the video sir. But after the construction and installation, how does the water pumps into the filter from the pond? Is it by the help of a water pump? Because in your video, you did not show anything like that we just saw the pipe bringing water into the filler from the pond whereas the filter is above the pond level. (You know if you are pumping water against gravity, it has to be with the help of a pump) Please kindly explain better on this. Thank you.

Brendann Venter you have to open the discharge at the bottom of the filter. You let the water flow out until there is only clean water coming out.
Just turn off the pump and clean it and remove😂

If you connected the inlet water pipe on top then your fabric filter will be very effective and have the outlet at the bottom

He is actually right. The dirty water enters the filter from the middle pipe to the bottom of the filter container and rises up through the stones and other filter media,the more the water stays passing through the media the better the filtration.purpose of the stones is to create a larger surface area for beneficial bacteria to break down the ammonia in the water. If you have it inverted,entering from top and draining from bottom,gravity will have its way and water will be draining out before the beneficial bacteria does it thing
