using such features are upen personal preference. wide angle would never give sharp images. as the name suggests "WIDE" that's what it meant to be. Pixel 3A is a big NO NO in India. as we can get phones with snapdragon 855 with 48mp camera in half the price of Pixel 3A

@roky123 finger print in 9SE is 7th gen, so its way better no need to go backwards... edit: if your concern about updates, unless you have used a Mi device before, Xiaomi never miss to update its flagships and its brothers.
In screen fingerprint reader is not a pro. It's done pretty poorly and ends up being a worse exp than a traditional sensor. I don't know why people keep saying it's better just because it's newer when it works worse.
Personally, I prefer the images from the pixel. The pictures on the Mi 9 are a bit too warm which causes the concrete to look a little too yellow. Also the Mi 9 has attendancy to wash out bright areas as shown in the sunlight brick wall picture. Although it's nice to have a white angle lens, I find wide angle lenses have a tendency to round off the edges of the photo making it look a little weird.
Google seriously needs to brighten their Shadows and reduce Contrast. I use Google APK Ported to my Phone and the Stock Contrast and Shadows are crazy. I use 3rd party Libraries to fix the issue and recover the Shadows and reduce contrast.
Need help! Kinda related - Pixel 3aXL or Xiaomi Mi9 for about the same price? It with get software updates for 2 and security for 3 but I've seen longer considering the Mi 6 is still getting Q. The Mi 9 is constantly getting software updates to better it. It also will be one of the first besides Pixel of course to get Q as the Mi 9 will be getting Q before Christmas! The phone I can honestly say is way better then my brother in law's Pixel 3 XL, my sister's iPhone XS Max, and my Galaxy S4-S9+, Note 9, LG G2-G4, V20, V30, iPhone 6plus, 8plus. It's my first Xiaomi and probably my last Flagship from all the other Flagships I've owned. I love it. Truly awesome. Well built. Super fast and the best pictures I've ever taken without my DSLR. It has a moon mode that is really cool and it also has a Macro mode I use quite a bit. You would love it I'm sure.

The Mi 9 is way quicker and handles resource intensive tasks much better and for longer without over heating due to the Snapdragon 855 chip set. The 855 is the biggest increase of performance of any Snapdragon chip they've made, roughly %29. To each their own of course, there are a lot of factors to consider when picking out a cellphone these days.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is awesome. It will run for to toe with any current Flagship in any category, and out perform and Flagship in out right speed and gaming. Camera is top notch and video it beats every current Flagship per Dxomark. But latest test I think the S10 5g is running right with it. Unlike the SE the real Mi 9 has awesome 4k@30 stabilization. The best out of any Flagship which is proven again by Dxomark but also ever UA-cam review as well as tech reviews show just how stable it is. Love it.
Looking at the ring of white around the rocket on the Mi 9 shot, I'd say that clarity comes from sharpening done in software, unless what I'm seeing is an artifact of the UA-cam conversion process...
I use a mi 9 se. It only uses eis for video recording while shooting 1080p 30fps videos. It has 1080p 60fps but it's just as shaky as the 4K video so only 1080p 30 fps has eis.
"clarity and detail" - well, the Chinese phones tend to be oversharpened (especially visible 1:1 on black-on-light, like text), whereas Pixel is more "conservative" (aka DIY). Look for black or white "glow" around contrast objects...
I have got mi9 and lg g8 both two much better than even pixel4xl if you install instant gcam Without ois mi9se can beat pixel3xl in night sight of gcam. Cuz 1.6um and 4.75mm Sony imx586

I'm very sorry to say but there is no comparison with the camera the dynamic range pixel does good and even it looks natural to my eyes but Mi 9 SE seems very artificial and even don't consists of details I'm most of the pictures you clicked with Mi 9SE, please do not miss lead.
Pixel camera is a bit better due to better video stabilization. However, I like the MI 9 SE phone better overall though because it is a slightly smaller, cheaper and its a prettier.

pixel 3a is the clear winner but I still go with mi9 se

The cropped in video of the pixel is because of the eis.. Software crops it in to give space to fix the shakes..

Yes. I was looking into this and the reason is because natural whites are more "yellowish" and OLEDs tend to have warmer tones which are more natural.
