    I studied Stewart Copeland like a beast because of the sheer innovation he included in high hat grooves. Good tips to be giving out. Good teaching 🎼🥁

    Started playing snare drum when I was 10. Just turned 45 and recently bought a kit. Haven't played the kit in years, so your videos have been extremely helpful. Keep up the good work!

    Great lesson! I like using the hi-hat flick-up/bark to add further dynamics as well. It also allows you to keep your left hand on the snare and playing ghosts in between the 16ths on the hat. Happy drumming, everyone!

      In a dodgy rehearsal room setting, a pair of 16 inch bin lid tone crashes usually sounds better than the bin lid 14 inch hats.
