I would never let someone work on my equipment the way this guy does. What a hack! Using a guitar pick probably scratching the corners all along. Talking about a nice clean lift
+Joshua West actually guitar picks are really useful and do not harm the screen or lcd. I have personally used guitar picks and know a lot of shops that use them as well. Just saying :)

i have bypassed iPad air 2 icloud even i lost my wifi and thats fine with me atleast i can use my iPad and if i have to use internet i use Bluetooth tethering but i am still confused with the activation on icloud website. its still showing my ipad has its FMI urned ON. and i am afraid that if i have to restore again then my device will be icloud locked to with previous id? i tried to sign in with my icloud id and turned the FMI OFF and ON and OFF again but still its showing same on icloud activation website. WILL MY DEVICE BE LOCKED TO SAME ICLOUD ID THAT I HAVE FORGOTTEN AND GOT STUCKED IF I RESTORED THE DEVICE AGAIN AFTER BYPASS ????????????.........
You do know you can just replace the glass right ?
Ya...if you feel like wasting your time removing the glass from the LCD (without breaking the LCD) and then trying to get the LOCA glue to lay out perfectly and bake without bubbles. Then ya, you can totally replace the glass. Time is money. That's way more labor than it's worth.
The iPad Air 2 should come with a 12W charger, not 10W.

My friend threw with my new gold iPad mini 3 and glass + lcd broke, i can't use it and the metal is bend but the logic board is fine. Tommorow i will receive a new one from him

No offense but there is no way you notice a .04 pound difference In the air and air 2. It might be the thinness that you're recognizing
Chris Pelc Didnt you see the tonight show where they showed last years iphones to people on the street and said it was the NEW iphone. They had their phone and the new one in each hand and all said the new was lighter, when infact it was the same phone.
Great video sadly I tried to repair my own iPad and ended up breaking it more. Had to send it of to have a company fix it. $105 later and good as new and I didn't have to cut my hands. check them out iMaster Repair.

Dan Wilcox it's not wasted, there was no damage there and can (and was most likely) put back together same as if it was a new screen being installed.
