It doesn’t matter we are on completely different paths in life or how long in between visits, I still consider him my brother. I usually buy him lunch or something and we reminisce. He has been 100% disowned by his family, parents, siblings, kids, etc. I would love to help him but until he is ready to help himself I can’t. Be proud of your son. Getting clean is a difficult decision to make and even harder commitment.
