I have the 2214 b valued style I saw it when it first came on the market and loved it but I was short on cash much latter I saw a company that made a threaded adapter that replaced the factory barrell nut and they highly recommended buying the removal tool I went on a quest could find either one about 6 years ago a new gun store opened in my town trying to give the guy some business I was up buying 22lr ever time he had some in stock on day there was a guy trying to sell the 2214 case 3 mags I told the owner I'll buy it from either one of you gave me a great deal the pistol was like brand new sent for the thread adapter and the removal tool one try and I thought that nut was there to stay soaked it in anti sease for two days put it in my bench vice used one of those new fancy clamps that you squeeze the handle put it on the beaver tail and the front on the tool to stop it from slipping got it as tite as I could put a piece of black pipe on the handle and all my body weight and it broke loose nice and slow I untreated it and hour with steel wool and wd on the threads took my cool new adapter and the Allen key they sent with it to install and my favorite 22lr suppressor host I ever used in the winter I put my can on it load 3 mags of cci silent have to rack it every shot but I sit on the porch and fire 50 round down into a snow bank so quiet no action from the gun in the spring I pick up all the dirty spent shells sorry about being a wind bag but it's one fun little gun I would never trade even carried it a couple times with mini mags it's even pretty accurate thanks don't see these to often.
If that's your back yard, then you have a nice setup! You also have a good selection of subsonic .22 on hand. Your kid's funny; perhaps she can hold the boxes of ammo up close to the camera instead of spinning them around! These pistols used to be a lot more common a few years back and I've never given them much thought. If I find one for a decent price, I might just pick it up after seeing your video. I've never owned one of the longer ones, but I did have the model 61 which was really small. I took it to the range with a dozen different loads and two magazines and could not make it function with ANY of the load/mag combos. What a worthless gun. I may have gotten a lemon, but I swore off the bottom-barreled S&W's. My main warm-up gun over the last few years has been the S&W M&P 22 Compact. That's a fun one to shoot.
I’ve never shot the 61 escort but I believe it’s the same operating system as mine. My two have been great. Oh and the 22c will is up soon for this ammo test. Stay tuned.
If u want quietest possible cycling beast that 2213 with sparrow can and 710 fps cci quiets or even jump to 830 fps cci quiet semi version (bout same) BOTH CYCLE FLAWLESSLY AND ARE STUPID STUPID quiet !!! … fo $ u CANNOT beat the sparrow can it’s so impressive and so cheap nowdays…. Better the can the more higher chance of cycling slow ammo … plus obviously recoil spring ect All my 422,622,2213,2214 2206 and 2206tgts cycle 710 fps with the sparrow can … keep guns clean and well oiled ..

Your kid's funny; perhaps she can hold the boxes of ammo up close to the camera instead of spinning them around!
