I own an LCP Max and as of yesterday a Bodyguard 2.0. I want to make it clear to people since there aren't many comparison videos yet. There is no competition. The Bodyguard 2.0 is a better gun in just about every way.
The Bodyguard 2.0 has a much lower bore axis and allows you to really choke up on the side. The two guns are the same height but I can almost fit three full fingers on the grip of the Bodyguard 2.0 and my pinky hangs off of the LCP Max. The trigger on the Bodyguard is better, you hit a nice solid wall and then a crisp break, the LCP isn't bad but is a little spongier. Overall, recoil is much less noticeable for the Bodyguard and it more pushes into your hand than flips up like the LCP, making for much faster follow up shots. You can find both for about the same price. The Bodyguard 2.0 is also tighter fitting if that matters to you. The LCP sounds like a maraca when you shake it but the Bodyguard has almost no play. Also, the Bodyguard is just a much prettier gun (not a functional thing of course, but the LCP Max just looks a bit goofy).

@@fastlanejunkygsxr9123 Not a spokesman lol, just really like the gun and most people don't own both an LCP Max and a Bodyguard 2.0 to compare. Hated my first carry gun (not an LCP Max), so just trying to help

@@tylertripp4939 Lol, I fully understand bud, I've been accused of the same over the LCP max. I shoot nearly every Mico carry I have been able to and just like the MAX over everything else. Yes it was snappy but after adding the Galloway Precision spring kit its smooth as butter, feeds everything and with the 12 rd mag grip is just fine. I haven't shot the 2.0 but I definitely will to compare myself. Good review though. Stay frosty my friend

"Trigger springs" - a warning for those that aren't UA-cam experts, once you start messing with trigger springs you invite trouble like light primer strikes. I ruined a perfectly could Kel Tec P17 because a UA-cam commando had me convinced I had to take the bolt off the slide to clean it. Now the screws once they broke loose will never stay tight, thus inducing malfunctions because of a wobbly bolt assy. A lot of people are slling kits or clicks and don't really have the best interests of your gun at heart.

Complaining about those sights is about the same as saying, "I like this basketball but I can't throw it to England." Remember the intent of the design and the marketing. The gun is 10 feet and under in terms of how far you might shoot it accurately. The stats suggest that this type of pistol is perfect at about three feet. Think about it. Good video. Just adding my own observations.

We have similar taste in guns. My LCP MAX ELITE was my daily, with some P365X (and my 80X with an Allegheny 32ACP conversion if I wanted to be fancy).
Did you notice yours shoots a bit left? I’m 1.5-2” left at 5 yards, and 6-8 inches left at 20Y. I assumed it was just the curse of “pulling left”, but even when I benched it, it was left-and the other two guys I had shoot it both printed tiny groups 1.5-2” left.
I think the mag-release sticks out a bit too much (I’m gonna take like 25-33% of that off), and I can’t wait for a slightly narrower rear sight. But the size is almost comical, and the trigger is amazing-mine pulls at 3.25-3.5# with my analog gauge.
I didn’t notice the trigger guard feeling small, but my side had a hitch in it making it hard to pull back to lock the slide until I got 50rds through it. And man is that 12th round hard to get in! :)
Give us a closer up of the stippling next time!

Accuracy and reliability are all that matter. If tighter tolerances result in more failures to cycle, feed, etc., especially when the gun is hot or dirty, without any significant improvement in accuracy, then I'll take the rattle any day, thank you.
