*Forget Me Not Friday* My first in a new series where I share a small crochet pattern to use up yarn scraps, with the idea of giving it to someone so they don't feel forgotten. Todays first video is for a Forget Me Not Flower. ua-cam.com/video/PW8N8c-YTD4/v-deo.html
Really pleased I found this video. For those that might know this is a perfect flower in these colours, denotes Dementia. I am going to make as many as I can for Dementia week, May 20 -26th and passing them to a group in Kent where they are going to yarn bomb! Thank you!
Thank you so much. Here in the UK many of us take part in a Memory Walk to raise funds for Alzheimer's. I'm taking part in the Birmingham one next month and am making some of these to take with me as this is the flower that represents the charity.
I'm so happy i've found your channel. Yesterday i made one of these flowers and i attached it to my pencilcase. I love everything about you videos: hd quality, nice background and lighting, nice explanations and most of all your cheering and happy voice. It makes me crochet with a smile :)
Thank you, I love the smaller projects as they're perfect for embellishing other handmade items, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us next time. TFS...Ann...x

I love this tutorial and love this little flower. My mum suffers from Demnetia and the forget me not is the symbol for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Would I be able to make these and sell them to give all the money to Alzheimer’s charity? Xx
I'm going to make these for the hospital someone has set up a new family room for parents who've lost there baby's, I've got to make two of same colour each time, then one will go in with the baby and the other goes to them parents, it's very sad but wanted to help.
I learnt to crochet, knit and French knit when I was very young but only took crochet up again with HappyBerry about 4 years ago. I was very much into my crafts as a child, I used to sell friendship bracelets at school! (^-^)
You have an English accent but you are describing stitches with American terminology aren't you? I'm confused - we don't have a single crochet in English terminology
Corinne Jones Yes I am from England, but yes I use US terminology, it is because it makes more sense logically as I've always wondered why we have a 'double' and a 'treble' which suggests a single should exist, but instead we go straight from the slip stitch to a double? In US terminology they move them up to allocate a single crochet stitch, makes much more sense and as US terminology is more widely used over the world, this is why I teach in US terminology.
