Love the setup here. I've got two ATEM Mini Extreme ISOs and I've been trying to figure out if I should go with a Teradek or with a LiveU. I'd love to see some more photos of how you mounted the LCD monitor on the sliding shelf because I've been trying to figure that one out.
The monitor is just sitting on the amazon mount listed in the description. Nothing fancy. I love the Teradek Vidiu GO and the LiveU Solo. I'd say it depends on the budget and your preferences of app. I should make that comparison video, huh? - Jay
@@WeddingFilmSchool definitely worth a comparison we use Teradek a lot. If the monitor isn’t actually mounted on that iPad stand, how do you make sure it stays safe when you transport it? Also do you see it being possible to mount the monitor permanently for travel purposes? Or should I look into a different type of mount potentially?
hi I am having problems with the monitor :) which holder did you use? can you share the link because the one atm doesn't lead to any. thanks Great video.
I'm wondering how my rig would hold up being powered by the Jackery. For Context, I have a custom built ATEM Extreme iso pelican case that includes; - An ATEM Extreme ISO - A BENQ 21.5 inch monitor - A Raspberry pi 4 - A TP-Link PoE Switch 8-Port (powers Pi 4, x2 PTZ's & PTZ controller over POE) - A URayTech HEVC H.265/H.264 Encoder (backup) - x4 5volt HDMI splitters The Case will likely also be powering things outside the case like; - Zowietek PTZ Controller PoE - x2 SMTAV NDI Streaming Camera 30X Optical - Laptop - Aztine 15.6" Portable Monitor This is a VERY power hungry case (although I have seen some cases that have like 10 decimators, and Hyperdecks for every input).
I love your set up,but I am racking my brain trying to figure how you are pulling power from the front rack mount. When I look at the back side of the custom rack panel, there is nothing connected to the back of IEC inlets, so what did you do to make that inlet hot?
We actually soldered tail end of an extension cord to the other side of the IEC outlet. I guess we probably should’ve showed that, LOL. There’s actually a fair amount of soldering in the whole job. We had to solder the XLR jacks as well with little patch cables. - Jay
@@WeddingFilmSchool Ok, I hope you're still answering questions! Why did you need the IEC there if you had a Power Rack? I've been racking my brain as well! LOL
Bobby here. I charge $1k for a one camera live stream but ONLY as an addition to one of my collections. If it were just a live stream It would be more. My setup is much more basic than this using the yolobox. Jay might chime in to let you know what he charges for this though!
Thanks for the mention of YoloBox!! Is Monica the person you are in contact from Jackery? She used to work for YoloBox! Jackery is making great power stations!
@@WeddingFilmSchool Ah! Okay! Thx! Just thought about it because 3,5 mm is not the safest or toughest input - like XLR. So i had in mind you connected the audio to the laptop and direktly into the stream itself. but then the possibility of audio sync would be lost. so yes, then the 3,5 mm is the way to go! Thank you for your reply!
@@WeddingFilmSchool thanks for the reply. But for people like myself it more to it then that. but I found another person from your comment section who made the same rig. his name is Chris he really helped me with my build now just tidy up a bit and I will be up and running soon. many thanks for your reply.
@@badenrakesh Ra Ba, I had some of the same questions that you had from the last video as well. Do you mind sharing the what you learned from Chris, or direct me to him.
Nice video, but the soldering part was completely brushed over. Do you have an image or schematic of what you did under the hood?
I love it would like to see how you do your interconnects I took your build for atem mini pro for our college

What cameras? Would you use the new bmd studio cameras?
Very impressive case. But you did not mention the Monitorstand. Thats so cool. could you post a link?
Here ya go. It changes a lot on Amazon but basically it’s something like this. geni.us/Tabletstand - Jay

They may not manufacture it anymore. Let me look into that.

Great setup, great video. Is the Jackery Explorer silent?? Is it your go to mobile power or have you found anything better for this set up.
Seemed pretty silent to me. This is our go to mobile power for now… BUT… we don’t have a ton of needs here. I’m sure there are other options now.
Impressive!
Hi, Thank you for this. How long is the HDMI cable from the Atem mini to the rack mount?
Something like 18”
pretty cool!
Amazing setup mate. How do you get the audio from the computer into the Teradek VidiU Go?

I used the link to purchase the sliding drawer. It did not fit.
It used to. I’m sorry!
Are you selling these racks? And how much?
Nope we use them, but I think it is linked in the description

Really wish you would have mentioned the fact that soldering is involved.
Yeah… that’s our bad! There are ways to do it without. We actually do mention it in our old channel where we built the channel strip. - Jay
Nice to hear Jason hitting them high notes at the end!
I aim to please- Jay
Hey There! How do you connect the Mix Pre with the Atem?
There’s a 3.5” output on it you can plug into the mic input on the ATEM

It’s totally fine for a 2 foot cable run. I’m still using XLR for my input on the MixPre.
bravo

hi mate great ideas.but it will be nice if you answer some question if you get asked by your viewers. like me on the other build you have done.
What was your question? Was it on our old channel? - Jay

Of what? The rack or the custom I/O rack panel? Mainly it’s a bunch of cables, LOL. We show it somewhat in this video btw - Jay
