Hey! Just a quick heads up to be careful when using co-op! Lately there’s been a problem where people will join your world and using a character name Kaveh they can delete things in your world making it impossible to get back and it can destroy your world and make you unable to do/finish quests! (Basically they altered the code so when they use Kaveh’s skill they can delete things) be careful!

That reminded me of my first ever ten pull at the beginning of the game getting me Venti before I even knew what a five star was. I had a similar reaction as well when I figured it out. That’s probably where all my luck went to be honest.

Not only is getting 4 characters lucky you got 4 really good characters. Noelle is a good well rounded character (she does good shielding, attacking and healing early game), Xingqiu is an insane support and hydro applier, Fischl is an amazing off field electro character and Barbara a really good dedicated healer early game. Congratulations! Hopefully luck stays with you
That's what each of your new characters do: Fischl (Electro): Charged attack shots an arrow that deals electro DMG; Her E skill summons Oz (the crow) that shots electro arrows even when you have another character on; In her burst you become Oz and deal electro DMG to every enemy you're close to, the it summons Oz like her E skill Barbara (Hydro): Normal attack deals hydro DMG; E skill creates a hydro circle around your active character healing them; Her burst heals every party member Xingqiu (Hydro): Normal attack is just the sword; E skill deals hydro DMG and creates Rain Swords around you active character, applying hydro to the enemies; His burst creates rain swords that (almost) every time you hit, it shots rain swords dealing hydro DMG Noelle (Geo): Normal attack is like a sword, but a claymore; E skill creates a shield that protects your active character; Her Burst makes her claymore deal geo dmg to enemies (and has a BIG range) Fischl and Xingqiu are considered one of the best 4 stars even at endgame, so I highly recommend using them, but in the end you can progress through the whole game with the characters you want, enjoying the game with the characters you have is more important than dealing massive amounts of dmg. Only using/getting characters because people told you to do so will only lead to burn out.
Id also add here to @Feral Cabbage that if you want to know what if you want to understand the characters' abilities and to know what they do, look at the talents tab in the character menus. It will break down exactly what they do in detail.
Noelle is good for the start - mid of the game. She gets stronger with more defense and can shield your characters. Shields are useful since they can protect your characters from being interrupted and from damage. You can also swap to Noelle when you think your at risk of getting hit for her to tank and protect other characters because she should have high defense if you give her the right items allowing her to take less damage. Her ult damage, heals and shields scale with defense. This can make defense artifacts have a purpose.
DUDE xingqiu and fischl first pull??? Your account is so blessed edit: theyre the best hydro and electro off field characters. Off-field characters are the most important to maximize your "main dps" dmg through reactions. Xingqiu + Fischl + Kaeya + Barbara sounds like a good freeze/electro charged team to start with.
In case you’re curious about what that beginning screen was, it’s called welkin! It’s $5 to get 30 days of it, and it appears someone bought it for you by using your id in the bottom right hand corner. Genshin content creators usually blackout their id in order to prevent people from buying them things and bombarding them with friend requests :)
Some also hide it because there are people who will use third party recharging features or wtv it is called and them refund the purchases and if that person has spent those genisis crystals their balance can go to negative and stuff
he better be VERY carfull and NOT spend 3000 primogems and keep 3000 primogems in inv for like a year incase they decide to do a charge back, how ofton peaople buy someone a welkin? and how ofton someone do a charge back? like dont like someone give them 100 bucks primos then charge back when they spend them.

Yeah, realistically once you get past early game Genshin is pretty easy. Because its on the easy side you can play literally any character and do almost everything in the game. It's not like you have to use the strongest character, you just need to use whoever is most fun
is it really that rare? I think beginner wishes is rigged because I also got 4 characaters in beginner wishes. I got noelle, sucrose, xingqiu, and kuki shinobu

Xingqiu is one of the characters I will always love. He’s super versatile and can be a main dps, support dps, etc. His ult is honestly so good and in the years I’ve played Genshin I’m yet to find a character that’s as useful. He also works in many different parties, since hydro is useful in many elemental reactions. The best decision I ever made was building my Xingqiu. With the right weapon and artifacts, and enough talent level ups he is actually so OP I love him
A few tips and things I noticed in the video! :D -Remember to equip your characters with artifacts and weapons! In the early game, you'll just want to equip them with whatever is the highest level/rarity--which will probably be anything 3-star (blue background). -All of the new characters you got are typically used as supports, though Xingqiu and Fischl could be considered DPS. Both have really great off-field abilities for anemo Aether to react with! -19:27 there's a chest on the rooftop to the right! -You can teleport directly to domains! Just click them on the map like you would with a waypoint :) -22:30 Noelle shields and Barbara heals, though Noelle can start to heal too at higher levels. At the beginning of the game, most people rely on Barbara to keep them alive-at least I did -23:10 You need to unlock the statues to unlock more of your map. The statues appear on your map as the light blue circles with a white border while the waypoints look more like a down-pointer -28:10 See those two fairies flying around you? There's actually three in that area, and if you find all of them you get a wind boost. Pressing space twice will allow you to glide up and reach the Anemoculus :D -It might help to look in the "Talents" part of the character menu, it tells you exactly what their abilities do and the damage output at their current level -I'm glad Xingqui is your favourite out of those four because he is super useful! Even endgame when you have 5star characters he's still meta -Hope you keep having fun! I'm excited to see you play more of the story and see the other nations! :3
Noelle's alright at healing early on too! I mained her for a good bit alongside Sucrose (got them both in my first 10 pull) and my team was practically always at max health.
It's honestly amazing how slow you are playing this game. Usually people just rush through everything and skip everything just to complain that there is not enough content to play. If you keep going at this rate you're gonna have videos for the next 5 years or something, this game is quite big. Really hope you're having fun with genshin so far!
every character has a Talents section on their character page, this explains their passive talents, their skills and bursts so you can understand what each character does. playing who you find fun is the no.1 important thing in genshin, especially early in the game as you are at the moment. However three characters you got I am going to point out, having a levelled healer is very important in the game, and barbara is one, so id say just level her up for if you find an activity you find challenging. Of the characters you pulled xingqiu and fischl are actually some of the strongers characters in the game, if you dont find them fun, dont build them, however, again, they are very good. the red barrier around chests is not indicative of any element, and just means its locked, and that there is a puzzle, often nearby, that is required to be completed to unlock the chest. finally in the top left of your screen when playing the game is a question mark with a red exclamation mark on it. this is where you will find all of your gameplay tutorials, I advise clicking on it as reading all of the tutorials as it will explain a lot of the things you have been misunderstanding, additionally, for each tutorial you read, you get a primogem.
A basic guide on elements: Hydro on cryo does not trigger melt, though this is a reaction. Pyro and cryo trigger melt which makes you do more damage. Pyro and hydro similarly trigger vaporise which also make you do more damage. Electro and hydro does electro-charged which does small amounts of damage to all enemies around. Geo is mostly unreactive with only one reaction with any other element( except anemo). Crystallize creates a pick-uppable crystal which gives you a shield. This isn't all the reactions - not even close - but some simple ones you can do with your characters. Also, whenever you trigger an elemental reaction you will see a pop up saying what it was next to the enemy helping you know if something happened. P.S keep up the great videos and keep discovering new cool things
The map opens up almost entirely after you complete this next part with Lisa, Amber, and Kaeya. At that point the only red boundaries are those where the map hasn't released yet, although there are some places like Inazuma that you won't be able to access until later
pro tip: if you get a character and want to know what their attacks do, check their menu + talents and read them. it helps alot with understanding the kit of each character and how they work
Hello, coral here :D I saw ur first genshin video on youtube and when i watched it i went on ur channel to see if there where more and saw u posted not long ago, but i didnt wanna skip 2 other videos. Now im laying at 2 am with school tomorrow god help me- with a bunch of nostalgia and jealousy of u being able to play this game from the beginning just being a complete noob, and i dont think ill be able to sleep without giving u any advice because ur energy and ur happiness for this game is just insane and its too great :) it makes me very happy to see people keep joining in on the fun and the journey. Im ar 58 i so i have been though my journey, tho there is still more updates and arcon quests to come- the beginning is just so amazing i wanna go back. Tho in my little adventure i had no idea what i was doing untill ar50 witch slowed my progess and made it very hard to clear. Ive rambeled enough so heres some advice! Charecters: Xingqui is one of the best 4stars! Proving decetly high damage and his ult(Q) works when hes not on feild feild witch is very efficient cause reactions is really strong. So you liking him is great. Fischle is also really great for alot of the same reasons, just oz being really op providing alot of electro dmg. Barbra is a great early game healer and u will probably either want to build her or noelle for protection or heals, since there will be a lot of harder and scary bosses later on already in early game. Ofc you should just play whoever u want to play and who u find most fun! Id also say for ar20 or when ur ready u should watch some guides on them. So u know what they do, what weapons and gear you should use on them, and ofc what teams they're good on U said u liked kaeya and xingqui so u could makea freeze team with, kaeya ur main dps and xingqui applying hydro from off feild. Also popping barbra in since heals and since theres 2 hydros itll be easiler to get more particals and energy for barbras ult. And then either aether of fischle (id recommend fish but again play who u want to play:) Artifacts/gear: ill start off simple but if u more charecter specific tips just say so. 1 stqr artifacts can be lvled to 4 2 stars can be lvled to 8 and it goes on till 5 star artifacts at lvl20. 1 and 2 star artifacts will be useless so please dont lvl them up. 3 and 4 stars is mostly what u want to lvl (not a whole bunch tho) 5 stars dont worry abt those till ur ar 35/45. An artifact sets can give u for exaple more healing (if ur charecter is cabable of healing) or what u put on traveler a set bonus giving you 1000 more flat hp. There are 2 set bonus and 4 set bonuses witch u can see on ur 3oclock (idk left and rightLOL) id say if u want a set bonus try to get beserkers it gives more critrate (the rate that u will be critting aka chance for bigger numbers) i dont want to make it too advanved. so for now lets say if u wanna do dmg on ur main dps youd usually want atk% cirt rate. Crit dmg. And energy recharge will help u get ur ult faster witch gives more consistent dmg. Weapons: for these u usually dont wanna lvl them too much if their bellow 3stars. Id give a pass to harbinger of dawn(sword) and the thrilling tales(catalyst) its alright to lvl other 3star weapons to 20 but higher than that i dont think itll be worth, since you probably will get new better weapons soon. Wishing and pity: there are 2 types of wishes. The blue ones, for the standard banner. And then pink ones, for the limited banner. The standard banner is not limited but the limited banners is (as u can tell by the names) so dont spend ur precious primos on the standard banner cause those folks arent going nowhere. What u do is either save for the next limited character(s) or pull for the limited character. Dont worry they will get reruns they wont be 1 time only. There if ofc also noelle banner witch i recommend u saving blue wishes (not buying them from shop) for instead of pulling on the standard banner cause u get items 10 for 8 pulls. U can only twice on her banner tho but its still nice. The pity system, og gosh ur soon gonna hate this. For a 4 star there is a 50/50 to get one after 9 pulls if not u get one guaranteed on 10th one. With 5 stars u have to pull 90 times to get a guaranteed 5star, but who said it would be the one on the limites time event banner! cause there is also a 50/50 chance, you either get the limited 5 star character, or someone from standard banner. If u lose ur 50/50 u will get ur limited 5 star after 90 pulls. But luckily its rare to get a 5star on 90 pity cause we also have soft pity at 75 where it increases ur rate of getting a 5 star. Getting it before 75 tho is early pity and REALLY rare if u get a 5 star in under 65 pulls (if ur pity where 0 if u started) Chances are around 0.006%(i think) I'm so sorry im incredibly tired ive been sitting here for 70 minutes i really need sleep. I hope this helps if not now then maybe in the future. Ill prolly get back to you tmrw for more simple tips, if i remember that is. Have a great day or night
im absolutely loving these videos! The reason why those areas on the map are blank is because you havent interacted with the big statue (called a statue of the seven) in that area. By interacting with these statues you can light up more areas on the map! Also, You are still in the tutorial area which is why you cant go past the red barrier (paimon barrier) until youve progressed to a certain point in the story, so you basically can't leave mondtstadt for the time being. hope this isnt too confusing and cant wait for more videos 💪😼
xingqui and fischl are really good character to build. use barbara for heals by attacking enemies with her after you use her elemental skill. noelle will be pretty good for shielding.
These videos have all been very fun! I love the little catchphrases and nicknames you give each character, and seeing how engaged and enthusiastic you are is also helping me to rekindle my love for genshin. Really hope you keep this content up, its all been great ❤
This guy view of Genshin is soooo different of what Im used to that it makes these videos so incredibly funny and entertaining to watch. Although the way things look right now, it's gonna take ages to finish the story, lmao. But I do appreciate the effort of taking the time to see all of the games have to offer, not many bother like you do.
The fact that you go through and read everything and the energy and excitement you have for this game is honestly amazing! I only found you like, yesterday but it was an instant follow from me! And I’m so glad you seem like you’ve been enjoying the game! XD Noelle is always guaranteed the first 10 on her standard, but that’s some pretty crazy luck! Those are some really good first characters to get! Xingqiu is one of my favorites as well and I use him in a lot of different teams! Fischle is good, but most people use her for Oz so that he can do off field damage while you’re using someone else for elemental reactions. Barbara and Noelle are both healers. Barbara does heal more consistently but makes your character wet and can get easily frozen by enemies. Noelle's healing comes from her burst, but her shield helps out a lot! Xingqui can also do a bit of healing after some ascensions (a leveling mechanic that will take some time) Ascension is usually capped at certain levels, 20, 40, 60, 80. You’ll need certain enemy (mob) materials or flowers/rocks. The books help you level up to those milestones in between. Purple gives the most XP, re is second, white the least exp. Every other Ascencion level will give you a free standard wish (the blue one) There are some characters that have a special ability that lets you find these level up plants/rock materials easier. (Lyney, one of the newest characters that’s on the banner right now is one of them. But just for his region specifically: Fontaine) all characters search abilities are region specific tho just to clarify but can be very helpful! If you ever roll copies of characters it counts as a constellation, which upgrades their abilities. After the first time you get them a copy is usually labeled c1, c2, etc up to c6. Any more copies after that just give you those shop coins (I forget the name orz) With some exceptions most elements can mix with others. Dendro you don’t have yet but it’s the grass one. It doesn’t really work with Anemo or geo. As for the map, after you get a bit further into the Mondstadt story here you’ll be able to explore pretty much anywhere and everywhere (the newest region Fontaine is far, but AFTER you finish the Mondstadt story you’ll get a free fast teleport there! It’s mostly in case you roll the new characters that need materials from that region). The only place that’s completely locked down is Inazuma. You’ll have to get a few chapters in the game to get there, but that’s the only exploration exception. orz I apologize for the length. I’m no expert in the game by any means (even if I’ve been playing almost three years on and off) but I hope this helped you out a bit >3

This was painful to watch as an ar 56 player, so I just HAD to write this down. To me, all of the puzzles seem so easy because I played the game for a long time and just watching you struggle is like 😭 Anyway, at the start of the video someone bought you a welkin moon which gives you primos and genesis crystals (you can use genesis crystals to buy skins or turn them into more primos)... From the 10 pull you got a (guaranteed) Noelle, Xingqiu, Fischl and Barbara (which you get for free later), that's some great luck! - 16:28 You can start the story quest by going to the quest menu and then going to "story quests", which let you know more about the character. Though I'm pretty sure you unlock that menu later on. - 21:00 You need to collect 3 anemograna, which are the little things on the ground. Once you collect them they will create a wind current for you to grab the anemoculus. - 23:02 Barbara creates like a little hydro circle around you which heals you, but also applies hydro to your character which could get you frozen sometimes. - 24:11 It's just normal water, it heals you for 1 hp. If you go there at night, you will see him take water from the nearby pond which is like a mini easter egg. - 26:16 After you complete an archon quest the red border will expand, allowing you to explore a lot further down the map. - Keep up the good content! There's still A LOT to come on your journey and I can't wait to see your reaction to it! :)

Here is a bit of advice/tips (apologies if anything is incorrect or confusing): -The electric ore can be broken with Pyro -Someone gifted you a Welkin Moon, which basically gives you free primogems for 30 days -Feel free to take your time exploring and enjoy yourself -The world unlocks gradually as you progress through the story -If you go into the character menus, you can read about character talents (it explains what the characters do) -Ascending and leveling up characters is also important too -Most of the shops and vendors unlock after completing the quests -You can use food that you cook when you don’t have access to the statues; you’ll also unlock recipes -You can use starglitter and stardust to buy things in the shop such as characters, wishes, etc. -Every 90 wishes is a guaranteed 5 star, and you have a 50/50 chance of getting the 5 star on the event banners or else you’ll end up with a standard character. Although it is likely you’ll get five stars at early pity too, especially later on. Four stars are guaranteed every 10 pulls, and getting four in one is a very impressive feat. Anyway I hope this helps you on your journey in Teyvat :)
Also I forgot to mention: -Each character has a passive skill (for example, Amber consumes less stamina when gliding I think?) -Lore comes with literally everything (although I genuinely find it all so interesting) -There are some timed events and stuff that players who started basically after the first few versions of the game missed, so it may explain why certain characters from different regions may know each other or why characters act certain ways, for example. -You can set up your birthday on your profile for a surprise (if you’d like ofc-) -Special programs normally happen monthly and give out information about upcoming content and characters

Just stumbled upon your channel, I’m glad to see someone play Genshin for the first time in 2023 and enjoy it as much as you do! And welkins is amazing to help just save for whoever you want in the future, that’s how you beat the gacha system, stockpile all of your gems and wishes and go all out for the character you want!
Oh dear god, I just wrote a long comment and it got deleted because my internet was acting up... SMH MY HEAD. Hopefully I can say it all again... CONGRATSS on that INSAANEE 4 4* character pull! I also think you got incredibly lucky because you got Noelle, Barbara and Fischl who are all Mondstadt characters, which means that you will be able to build them early on in the game! Even Xingqiu is a character from Liyue, which is the nation that you will visit after completing the Mondstadt quest so you will be able to build him early too! Namely, there are MANY 4* characters that you can get, however, the problem for new players is that many of these characters are from other nations (currently, the game has 5 released nations), many of which are only accessible after you complete certain prerequisite quests and cannot access them otherwise. That being said, building characters isn't a priority for you at the very moment. You might, however, encounter this problem later on. As you progress with the quests and with exploration, you will encounter enemies that are more challenging and also higher level, which is why building characters is essential. AND if the character hails from the nation that you can't access yet, you would not be able to obtain the materials they need to be upgraded, hence they would be stuck at a lower level for a while. This is why the current state of Genshin is not exactly friendly towards newer players. BUT I find the fact you got 3 Mondstadt characters right off the bat incredibly lucky! But, like I said, building characters and making them stronger are all problems for later hehe. Right now just have fun with the game! AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! Your videos are awesome!
Great job on getting 4 different 4 stars on you very first wish! Here are some information about these new characters you got and I hope to see you building them well in the future! (Most of this knowledge can be applied later game because it has to do about artifacts) Xingqiu is an amazing sub-dps character; he can do lots of damage and apply hydro to enemy’s for elemental reactions like kaeya’s freeze.( he can also heal a bit too) for his artifacts you can put reagular good damage dealing stats like crit rate and crit damage but he can also have some energy recharge to charge his burst faster. Give him a mix of both because you might want to focus all your good crit and energy recharge to someone else (hint hint), he is only a sub dps though so it’s better to stack all your best crit on your main. Fishel is an amazing character for elemental reactions due to her fast applying electro. She mainly needs energy recharge so focus more on that for her. She might not do the most damage but she can cause good reactions for other characters. Her play style is you put out her bird and swap out and it keep going apply more off field so then almost anyone can take advantage and attack with extra damage. Amber can cause overload which deals an explosion of bonus damage. Kaeya can cause superconduct which buffs normal attack damage. Xingqiu can cause electro charged and spark damage chaining to all the enemy’s on field and cause a bit more damage. Barbara is a healer and she scales of of her health. If you get more health on her she can do more healing. An amazing weapon for her is the thrilling tales of dragon slayers. I personally don't use noelle so I might not be able to provide the best information about her I’m sorry about that. Anyways make sure to level your characters and their weapons as much as you can. as someone who has done basically everything in the game, its so much fun to see someone play it for the first time and enjoying it so much! it takes me back to the feeling of playing it for the first time myself, which is one of my favourite experiences/feelings :,D and congrats on the 4 characters in one pull hhaha, thats really good! getting fischl and xingqiu early game is super super practical, as they work well on basically any team. fischl was one of my first characters too, i mained her for a long time, and still love to use her now 2 years later even though i have 5-stars i could use instead. she’s just that good. same with xingqiu

I love your videos, as someone who's been playing for 2+ years, watching them takes me back to when I first started playing. After a while it's really easy to start feeling bored and burnt out so watching you be so excited to read into the lore and explore the world is really refreshing and reminds me why I feel in love with Genshin. Only one thing is that if I were you I'd complete the archon quest first (the main story) bc for the time being it locks you out of the other regions (the red barrier) after one part you're get locked from progressing the story to get to a higher account level and that's when you'll have time and freedom to explore
i would recommend using either noelle or barbara- they both provide heals, but noelle also provides a shield. xingqiu and/or fischl, they’re both really good for new players, and xingqiu is still really strong in the late game! kaeya or traveler are viable 4th options, but you should definitely use xiangling once you’re able to get her for free!
So far I'm vibing through your playthrough!! I hope you'll get big someday while enjoying the content genshin gives!! Side tips for your playthrough: Leveling your characters will boost your performance alot! so if you really like their playstyle, I suggest leveling them which will increase their overall stats and unlock some extra passive skills by ascending them! You don't need to rush and it's possible to level as many as you want as long as u grind or have the materials needed... Also, building a character properly isn't needed for early to mid game, you just need to keep on track with the best weapon and artifacts your characters can use! Lastly, party setup is the way to success as you'll need a good combinations of characters that works best together like Kaeya and Xingqui combo! Though you can play whoever you want for your enjoyment. Just a heads up, teamwork makes dream work!
My only advice in this game(as a new player too lol) is to just play at your own pace, besides daily quests when you unlock it (and the 90 primogems everyday, I was gonna buy that 😂), do those everyday I guess, but other stuff can always be done at another time, it’s how I got 10 wishes fast😮 I’m learning a ton of stuff but it’s so overwhelming, I know I’ll get used to it eventually though 😅😊

HIIII heres some tips to make your game better❤❤❤ and i cant wait to see next video bc it one of the best series i ever seen You can change a Genesis Crystals to a priorigems in a shop. 1 crystal -> 1 priorigem 3:44 you can see that what star thing you get. A blue light is a 3 star character, 4 star is a purple light, and gold light is 5 star. You can have a 5/4 start character OR wepon. Important is doimg an aranchon quest. It gives you a new places, journy, sometimes new characters, new items, priorigems and more. Now you have to go to tample of Lion i think to get Lisa. Barbara is an healer what means her vision power heals your characters. Its really usefull is a fight bc sometimes you runout of food. (Here are other healers i thinked abt: Jean and Sayu but in games you have more of them) When you click a V button you will see a way to your quest location. Thats usefull so ig you lost meanwhile doing a quest, it will helps you so much. On G button you have tutorial. There you have a tutorial abt everything you meeted or did. Like using a elementals powers or combat. If you check a new tutorial you will get an priorigem. 20:38 just click a X button to fell of. It helps a lot. If you want to change your party, the quickest way is clicking a J button and stop moving. It will automatly show you a party. 20:05 you just went out of map. If you be to long there Paimon will takes you back. Bow characters can shot really quick. Just click a left button of mouse to see. You can upgrade your wepon or change it to better one. Just open a menu, then select a characters next thing to do is pick a character that we wanna change/upgrade character and click wepons. If you want to change click switch and upgrade then click ehnange (idk how to write it ok?) 33:43 Big slimes can jump on you. When they jump on a ground you will se a red circle. In a circle you will get a damage. When you are in just rum out. Using a elemental power in a fight is important. Just clicking E/Q to activate them. In fight you can change a character. Like if you used an Xingxion E skill change to np Noelle and use her skill understend? You have a mission and quest. There you can see np. quest your doing. It will helps you when you will start to have so many mission in the same time In every city you can found an adventers guild. Theres a Katheryne, she can give you free tings for doing a daily missions, do a adventure rang on a bigger level and some other tings. Actually you have adventure rang on sixs so go talk to her and get free items and priorigems. When you are entering a Mondstantd on your left and right you have a road. Cross it and on your left you will have her. She is in every city but now you have only one so i dont need to explain you now where she is in others citys. In some places you can cook (if you cant just use an pyro vison on it, ahhh and when is raining you cant). Cooking can gives you an meals. With meals you can revive dead/fallen character, heal you, gives you an bigger stamina(only for some time, bigger DEF AKT ang other things (fot not to long like 300sec. ) To use them just click menu, inventory and pick dishes. Find a meal with a green plus to heal your character, with green (idk) thing other then plus to revive, blue sheld to DEF, yellow person to stamina, red swords for ATK itp. Ahhh and you dont need to talk with everyone, most of them are NPC and they just do nothing. NPC with a name AND a blue words have a quest for you or you can buy something at them. And thats all i think. You are so lucky at wishing. Maybe just do a quest to have 1600 priorigems and try your luck on a time banner. Time banners are the second and thirtd from the left. When you select one of them you will se how long it will be, or are pernamet what means never go away. ❤❤❤ Im waiting for moreee
Xingqiu is one of the best characters in the game, Fischl is also really strong, especially early on. You should focus on building those 2 characters first.
Might make sense for you to look through the Talents on the characters screen, if you want to know how the characters abilities work. It even shows how the damage is calculated for every attack if you want to know the details. Speaking of details, if you are on the wish screen, you can also click on the details button on the bottom left. It will tell you everything you could get and how high the chances are for everything if you want to read something up. It is very detailed though. Just keep in mind that the details are always just for the banner you are currently looking at, not for all of them in general. (As some people mentioned "soft pity", the detail screen does not mention that for some reason, but don't let it confuse you, it does exist.) Fishl might be one of the most useful chars right now even if just because of how easily you can use her ability while playing as someone else. Even if you just switch to her, activate her raven, and immediately switch to another character, she is already strong. You could, for example, play as Xingqiu 99% of the time if you want and just switch to Fishl and back for a moment for her summon. In that case you are playing as Xingqiu while the raven just helps you.
make sure to look around for mini bosses and domains. mini bosses often give really good chests like luxuries and that. And domains give you primos and artifacts along with alot of mora. (im not talking about the artifact domains, im talking about the other ones.) also the occuli are really useful because once given to the statue, you can get heart of depths keys. the depths give luxry and exquisite chests. they also give anemo sigils which can be used to by alot of good things, like mora and that. also in dragonspine there is a quest that will let you unlock a soup that heats you up and keeps you warm. Very usefull. edit: if you see any chests or occuli or depths that you cannot open or get to. MARK. IT. DOWN. its very important so you dont loose where they are. also really loving the series so far, keep up the good work

This channel was a gem to find!!! I hope you have fun playing Genshin, trust me, you’re in for a RIDE. You’re so lucky you’re doin this on UA-cam since people have so many tips and tricks, but most of us started just as clueless about everything. The first time I played, only mondstatdt and Liyue were out, and I was already overwhlemed by how huge it was! Now you have a whole 5 nations to explore. Sumeru is as big as Mond and Liyue combined. Btw, the nations in teyvat take inspiration from real-life countries. Mondstadt is modeled after Germany, and Liyue, the nation you’ll head to after this, is based off China. Inazuma is based off Japan, and Sumeru is a mix of south Asian, middle eastern and African references. Fontaine is based off France and Europe. Can’t wait to see your trek across teyvat!!
I found the channel today and just seen all episodes on your adventure and i truly love it i hope and want you keep going with it as long as you can. I also understand you love the ingame lore and let me tell you LOTS await you. That said, you have sadly forever missed on some lore that was intergraded inside of limited time events and it sucks as that would really help you get connected to the characters and know just a bit more if the story. One solution is to watch it from other youtubers such as bwaap (he made, and still to a degree, makes playthroughs on the game and you really reminded me of him from back then). You could watch and learn about said story and lore but the thing is, mihoyo were releasing those events parallel to the story so watching those events now would NOT be ideal. There are definitely people who have uploaded timelines on when to, i guess experience those events but it might make you confused so i dont know if i should recommend it to you. You also have some friends that have been playing for a while so they should be able to help you get put on track without spoiling anything for you. I could try helping too if you have any questions i ve been playing since the launch and im ALL for lore (there are also a few others that analyse the lore in insanely great depth and make theories with all that is available to us up to that point. One channel i can reccomend for that is Minsleif BUT you dont need to go that far just yet. KEEP all that for later and just keep having fun! Getting 4 characters in 1 10 pull is actually crazy lucky and also both however the hell u spell the blue hair Boys name and fischl are some of the best 4 star characters in the game
you are so unintentionally funny, love it. Take your time and do what you want in the game. also, never feel pressured to pull for characters just because people tell you X and Y are good charas. You will very quickly get bored of charas if you don't personally like them.
4 characters, that's amazing! Fischl and Xingqiu are some of the strongest characters to get early on, congrats! Few things as well: -Cryo is pronounced Cry-o, but if you feel like using your own pronunciation, that's fine as well. -The purple crystals that shocked you need to be hit by pyro to be collected. -Make sure to put new weapons on your characters, the 3 star passives can be quite useful on certain characters. -Most of all, have fun!

Tips for new player in GI Combat: Try to use skill off cooldown (whenever they are not on cooldown), they cost nothing and will give you energy particle that will then allow you to use your burst. Some ability like Fischl stay on field for a long time even when you switch character making them perfect to cause multiple reaction combined with other character ability Try to use energy recharge piece on your artifact whenever you find them (crit chance is second most important stat then atk). ER piece increase your energy gain to allow you do Burst more often and burst does a lot of damage or even crucial for some character to truly shine (Noelle for example). While Fischl Burst is just extension for her skill which is nice but not as game changing When you upgrade your weapon try to do it manually and avoid feeding 3* weapon that you get from wishing in banner. They are considered trash in end game but will significantly boost your character performance on early game. Don't forget to resonate them if you have multiple of the same copy. (You will also get 3* weapon from chest from time to time, try to lock them and keep at least 1 copy of each weapon at resonance 5 before feeding them to your weapon to upgrade cuz some of them are still useful even in end game for your support character like Zhongli with his HP polearm or Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer with insane atk buff) There are countless mechanic in this game combat like elemental reaction but I don't think you need to worry about that too much, just combine any two (sometimes three if it is Dendro) element and you will deal more damage. Most of the time you will need to use skill or burst to apply element so that's why skill and burst are the main priority. Just focus on these for now and you should be fine until AR 32 then learn slowly as there are lot of tutorial in the game to help as you go.
To light up the map you have to unlock the statue of the seven, right now you don’t have the main quest completed so it won’t let you leave the red circle so you have to do the main quest. For your characters to do more damage you can level them up with the books or change and level up their weapons. Barbara’s skill makes a ring around you that heals your characters that are on screen and her elemental burst heals all the characters in the party.
Things you should do in your next video: -Climb the Cathedral -Facing the statue in the city, go to the stairs in your right where there's a sparkly thingy -Fight the robot at the Thousand Winds Temple -Go to the northern part of the map and jump down the water fall near a grey circle

Xingqiu and Fischl are both quite good characters so you really lucked out. Character profiles don’t often give lore for the world (they do sometimes). They mostly give backstory to characters. Most lore will be in books, artefacts and weapons that you can read about in your archive.
I love your gameplay, you're looking at things that most of us woould ignore during the gameplay and I love how you don't know anything about the game yet, it's so entertaining to watch :D
@@FeralCabbage xD That is sweet opinion. Amber charge shot is good for taking down Anemo Hypostasis at the end when it will spawn few anemo orbs which will regenerate boss if not destroyed in time. Amber can destroy them all with charged shots if you don't waste time and shoot one after another...which is great!!

Her Oz stays on field after u switch to other party member and stays for quite a time for you to make some element reactions. and her ultimate can help you get out from tight spot and also put Oz on the field. aaaa best advice....try to use Ultimates as much as possible... don't matter that they are weak. with this you will get sooner get used to play it in full potential as later all players need to if want to face end game content. (All the rotations are about use of skills and Ultimates in right time to combine with other characters skills and their ultimates for boosts, buffs, reactions, and like this u will learn step by step best rotations intuitively). Definitely don't worry about not playing effectively right now xD We all had our "beginnings" xD

You got such good characters on your first pull! you could easily make a great team with xingqiu, fischl, Lisa, and dendro traveler (you get him when you interact with a statue in Sumeru) Also, you can convert the genesis crystals you got when you logged into the game to primogems. You can use the primogems to get wishes, I recommend you use the primogems for the purple fates instead of the blue fates since you get free blue fates from the story.
That was a great pull! As for who to play, try them out yourself and see what sort of playstyles you like. If you like a certain character then maybe see if there's some teams you can build around that character. Don't listen to comments telling you that you "must" or "should" play a certain character or that you have to play a certain character a specific way. The only place this even matters is late endgame, and even then it's not a big deal and something you can ignore while still achieving max possible.

WHAT?? That’s some insane luck! I got yelan on my first ten pull 😂. Btw, those characters might be able to do ALOT of damage. You could use fischl as an electro applier and xinqui for the elemental reactions. Btw, If you get 6 Barbara’s then you will be able to revive your dead characters. Also, idk If you already know this, but when your by the tree, use your characters elements to attack the pillar looking things. That will activate the pillars. Once you activate all of them, you will get a chest. Remember that you need to use a different element for every pillar.
Out of what I have seen so far, Fischl and Xingqiu are the best damage dealers on the team (coming from a Fischl main myself-) Barbra is a good healer, and Noelle is good for shields! But not many people end up sticking with them the whole time :D
It's so nice seeing first-time players experiencing the game! Brings me back to when I started playing and didn't know anything or anyone that played. That is an incredible set of 4* you got. I suggest an exploration team of *Kaeya, Anemo Traveler (flex), Xinqiu, and Noelle*. * Kaeya is a tall, male character. The character models are actually important for exploration because they have different speeds. At your level, you don't have much stamina, so tall males like Kaeya are really helpful early on because they use less stamina when sprinting and climbing. Not to mention the ice bridging. He's also the best starter character with a solid kit because he can be built for main or sub-dps. He's good on his own, but with someone with Xinqiu, who applies Hydro to enemies, freezing them is an easy and effective strategy. * You need Anemo for much of Mondstat. There is a lot of enemies that are resistant or immune, but you need it for puzzles and activation points. This is also a flex spot for someone like *Amber* because you do need Pyro a lot for the earlier puzzles. * You like Xinqiu and he's a solid character. Great Hydro application and sub-dps. That means he does damage off-field. He can be off-field while Kaeya is on-field. He does a bit of healing, so that is useful. * Noelle provides shields and healing. She is a claymore-user, so she's helpful for breaking rocks and such early in-game. Be mindful that she breaks freezes as a claymore character, and she needs to be on field doing damage with her shield up to heal. ** Fischl is also incredible. Does amazing off-field damage, and you can combine her with Xinqiu to do a "taser comp". Use Fischl's E (Oz), then switch to Xinqiu to apply the Hydro. You can use her instead of Kaeya if you prefer. I say this all because I think it's more important to focus on exploration early in the game than the other stuff. Just let yourself be immersed in the gameplay and it all comes together. Have fun!

Hey! Just a quick heads up to be careful when using co-op! Lately there’s been a problem where people will join your world and using a character name Kaveh they can delete things in your world making it impossible to get back and it can destroy your world and make you unable to do/finish quests! (Basically they altered the code so when they use Kaveh’s skill they can delete things) be careful!

That's what each of your new characters do:
Fischl (Electro): Charged attack shots an arrow that deals electro DMG; Her E skill summons Oz (the crow) that shots electro arrows even when you have another character on; In her burst you become Oz and deal electro DMG to every enemy you're close to, the it summons Oz like her E skill
Barbara (Hydro): Normal attack deals hydro DMG; E skill creates a hydro circle around your active character healing them; Her burst heals every party member
Xingqiu (Hydro): Normal attack is just the sword; E skill deals hydro DMG and creates Rain Swords around you active character, applying hydro to the enemies; His burst creates rain swords that (almost) every time you hit, it shots rain swords dealing hydro DMG
Noelle (Geo): Normal attack is like a sword, but a claymore; E skill creates a shield that protects your active character; Her Burst makes her claymore deal geo dmg to enemies (and has a BIG range)
Fischl and Xingqiu are considered one of the best 4 stars even at endgame, so I highly recommend using them, but in the end you can progress through the whole game with the characters you want, enjoying the game with the characters you have is more important than dealing massive amounts of dmg. Only using/getting characters because people told you to do so will only lead to burn out.

Noelle is good for the start - mid of the game. She gets stronger with more defense and can shield your characters. Shields are useful since they can protect your characters from being interrupted and from damage. You can also swap to Noelle when you think your at risk of getting hit for her to tank and protect other characters because she should have high defense if you give her the right items allowing her to take less damage.
Her ult damage, heals and shields scale with defense. This can make defense artifacts have a purpose.
Xingqui is considered one of the best characters period

edit: theyre the best hydro and electro off field characters. Off-field characters are the most important to maximize your "main dps" dmg through reactions. Xingqiu + Fischl + Kaeya + Barbara sounds like a good freeze/electro charged team to start with.

In case you’re curious about what that beginning screen was, it’s called welkin! It’s $5 to get 30 days of it, and it appears someone bought it for you by using your id in the bottom right hand corner. Genshin content creators usually blackout their id in order to prevent people from buying them things and bombarding them with friend requests :)
Yeah, you just need to log in every day for 30 days and you'll get 90 primos each day (you don't need to play but you just need to have logged in)
Some also hide it because there are people who will use third party recharging features or wtv it is called and them refund the purchases and if that person has spent those genisis crystals their balance can go to negative and stuff

Yeah, realistically once you get past early game Genshin is pretty easy. Because its on the easy side you can play literally any character and do almost everything in the game. It's not like you have to use the strongest character, you just need to use whoever is most fun

Xingqiu is one of the characters I will always love. He’s super versatile and can be a main dps, support dps, etc. His ult is honestly so good and in the years I’ve played Genshin I’m yet to find a character that’s as useful. He also works in many different parties, since hydro is useful in many elemental reactions. The best decision I ever made was building my Xingqiu. With the right weapon and artifacts, and enough talent level ups he is actually so OP I love him

A few tips and things I noticed in the video! :D
-Remember to equip your characters with artifacts and weapons! In the early game, you'll just want to equip them with whatever is the highest level/rarity--which will probably be anything 3-star (blue background).
-All of the new characters you got are typically used as supports, though Xingqiu and Fischl could be considered DPS. Both have really great off-field abilities for anemo Aether to react with!
-19:27 there's a chest on the rooftop to the right!
-You can teleport directly to domains! Just click them on the map like you would with a waypoint :)
-22:30 Noelle shields and Barbara heals, though Noelle can start to heal too at higher levels. At the beginning of the game, most people rely on Barbara to keep them alive-at least I did
-23:10 You need to unlock the statues to unlock more of your map. The statues appear on your map as the light blue circles with a white border while the waypoints look more like a down-pointer
-28:10 See those two fairies flying around you? There's actually three in that area, and if you find all of them you get a wind boost. Pressing space twice will allow you to glide up and reach the Anemoculus :D
-It might help to look in the "Talents" part of the character menu, it tells you exactly what their abilities do and the damage output at their current level
-I'm glad Xingqui is your favourite out of those four because he is super useful! Even endgame when you have 5star characters he's still meta

Noelle's alright at healing early on too! I mained her for a good bit alongside Sucrose (got them both in my first 10 pull) and my team was practically always at max health.
It's honestly amazing how slow you are playing this game. Usually people just rush through everything and skip everything just to complain that there is not enough content to play. If you keep going at this rate you're gonna have videos for the next 5 years or something, this game is quite big. Really hope you're having fun with genshin so far!

every character has a Talents section on their character page, this explains their passive talents, their skills and bursts so you can understand what each character does.
playing who you find fun is the no.1 important thing in genshin, especially early in the game as you are at the moment. However three characters you got I am going to point out, having a levelled healer is very important in the game, and barbara is one, so id say just level her up for if you find an activity you find challenging. Of the characters you pulled xingqiu and fischl are actually some of the strongers characters in the game, if you dont find them fun, dont build them, however, again, they are very good.
the red barrier around chests is not indicative of any element, and just means its locked, and that there is a puzzle, often nearby, that is required to be completed to unlock the chest.
finally in the top left of your screen when playing the game is a question mark with a red exclamation mark on it. this is where you will find all of your gameplay tutorials, I advise clicking on it as reading all of the tutorials as it will explain a lot of the things you have been misunderstanding, additionally, for each tutorial you read, you get a primogem.
A basic guide on elements:
Hydro on cryo does not trigger melt, though this is a reaction. Pyro and cryo trigger melt which makes you do more damage.
Pyro and hydro similarly trigger vaporise which also make you do more damage.
Electro and hydro does electro-charged which does small amounts of damage to all enemies around.
Geo is mostly unreactive with only one reaction with any other element( except anemo). Crystallize creates a pick-uppable crystal which gives you a shield.
This isn't all the reactions - not even close - but some simple ones you can do with your characters.
Also, whenever you trigger an elemental reaction you will see a pop up saying what it was next to the enemy helping you know if something happened.

The map opens up almost entirely after you complete this next part with Lisa, Amber, and Kaeya. At that point the only red boundaries are those where the map hasn't released yet, although there are some places like Inazuma that you won't be able to access until later

pro tip: if you get a character and want to know what their attacks do, check their menu + talents and read them. it helps alot with understanding the kit of each character and how they work
Hello, coral here :D I saw ur first genshin video on youtube and when i watched it i went on ur channel to see if there where more and saw u posted not long ago, but i didnt wanna skip 2 other videos. Now im laying at 2 am with school tomorrow god help me- with a bunch of nostalgia and jealousy of u being able to play this game from the beginning just being a complete noob, and i dont think ill be able to sleep without giving u any advice because ur energy and ur happiness for this game is just insane and its too great :) it makes me very happy to see people keep joining in on the fun and the journey. Im ar 58 i so i have been though my journey, tho there is still more updates and arcon quests to come- the beginning is just so amazing i wanna go back. Tho in my little adventure i had no idea what i was doing untill ar50 witch slowed my progess and made it very hard to clear. Ive rambeled enough so heres some advice!
Charecters: Xingqui is one of the best 4stars! Proving decetly high damage and his ult(Q) works when hes not on feild feild witch is very efficient cause reactions is really strong. So you liking him is great. Fischle is also really great for alot of the same reasons, just oz being really op providing alot of electro dmg. Barbra is a great early game healer and u will probably either want to build her or noelle for protection or heals, since there will be a lot of harder and scary bosses later on already in early game. Ofc you should just play whoever u want to play and who u find most fun! Id also say for ar20 or when ur ready u should watch some guides on them. So u know what they do, what weapons and gear you should use on them, and ofc what teams they're good on
U said u liked kaeya and xingqui so u could makea freeze team with, kaeya ur main dps and xingqui applying hydro from off feild. Also popping barbra in since heals and since theres 2 hydros itll be easiler to get more particals and energy for barbras ult. And then either aether of fischle (id recommend fish but again play who u want to play:)
Artifacts/gear: ill start off simple but if u more charecter specific tips just say so. 1 stqr artifacts can be lvled to 4 2 stars can be lvled to 8 and it goes on till 5 star artifacts at lvl20. 1 and 2 star artifacts will be useless so please dont lvl them up. 3 and 4 stars is mostly what u want to lvl (not a whole bunch tho) 5 stars dont worry abt those till ur ar 35/45. An artifact sets can give u for exaple more healing (if ur charecter is cabable of healing) or what u put on traveler a set bonus giving you 1000 more flat hp. There are 2 set bonus and 4 set bonuses witch u can see on ur 3oclock (idk left and rightLOL) id say if u want a set bonus try to get beserkers it gives more critrate (the rate that u will be critting aka chance for bigger numbers) i dont want to make it too advanved. so for now lets say if u wanna do dmg on ur main dps youd usually want atk% cirt rate. Crit dmg. And energy recharge will help u get ur ult faster witch gives more consistent dmg.
Weapons: for these u usually dont wanna lvl them too much if their bellow 3stars. Id give a pass to harbinger of dawn(sword) and the thrilling tales(catalyst) its alright to lvl other 3star weapons to 20 but higher than that i dont think itll be worth, since you probably will get new better weapons soon.
Wishing and pity: there are 2 types of wishes. The blue ones, for the standard banner. And then pink ones, for the limited banner. The standard banner is not limited but the limited banners is (as u can tell by the names) so dont spend ur precious primos on the standard banner cause those folks arent going nowhere. What u do is either save for the next limited character(s) or pull for the limited character. Dont worry they will get reruns they wont be 1 time only. There if ofc also noelle banner witch i recommend u saving blue wishes (not buying them from shop) for instead of pulling on the standard banner cause u get items 10 for 8 pulls. U can only twice on her banner tho but its still nice. The pity system, og gosh ur soon gonna hate this. For a 4 star there is a 50/50 to get one after 9 pulls if not u get one guaranteed on 10th one. With 5 stars u have to pull 90 times to get a guaranteed 5star, but who said it would be the one on the limites time event banner! cause there is also a 50/50 chance, you either get the limited 5 star character, or someone from standard banner. If u lose ur 50/50 u will get ur limited 5 star after 90 pulls. But luckily its rare to get a 5star on 90 pity cause we also have soft pity at 75 where it increases ur rate of getting a 5 star. Getting it before 75 tho is early pity and REALLY rare if u get a 5 star in under 65 pulls (if ur pity where 0 if u started)

im absolutely loving these videos! The reason why those areas on the map are blank is because you havent interacted with the big statue (called a statue of the seven) in that area. By interacting with these statues you can light up more areas on the map! Also, You are still in the tutorial area which is why you cant go past the red barrier (paimon barrier) until youve progressed to a certain point in the story, so you basically can't leave mondtstadt for the time being. hope this isnt too confusing and cant wait for more videos 💪😼
xingqui and fischl are really good character to build. use barbara for heals by attacking enemies with her after you use her elemental skill. noelle will be pretty good for shielding.

XD Noelle is always guaranteed the first 10 on her standard, but that’s some pretty crazy luck!
Those are some really good first characters to get! Xingqiu is one of my favorites as well and I use him in a lot of different teams!
Fischle is good, but most people use her for Oz so that he can do off field damage while you’re using someone else for elemental reactions.
Barbara and Noelle are both healers. Barbara does heal more consistently but makes your character wet and can get easily frozen by enemies. Noelle's healing comes from her burst, but her shield helps out a lot!
Xingqui can also do a bit of healing after some ascensions (a leveling mechanic that will take some time)
Ascension is usually capped at certain levels, 20, 40, 60, 80. You’ll need certain enemy (mob) materials or flowers/rocks. The books help you level up to those milestones in between. Purple gives the most XP, re is second, white the least exp. Every other Ascencion level will give you a free standard wish (the blue one)
There are some characters that have a special ability that lets you find these level up plants/rock materials easier. (Lyney, one of the newest characters that’s on the banner right now is one of them. But just for his region specifically: Fontaine) all characters search abilities are region specific tho just to clarify but can be very helpful!
If you ever roll copies of characters it counts as a constellation, which upgrades their abilities. After the first time you get them a copy is usually labeled c1, c2, etc up to c6. Any more copies after that just give you those shop coins (I forget the name orz)
With some exceptions most elements can mix with others. Dendro you don’t have yet but it’s the grass one. It doesn’t really work with Anemo or geo.
As for the map, after you get a bit further into the Mondstadt story here you’ll be able to explore pretty much anywhere and everywhere (the newest region Fontaine is far, but AFTER you finish the Mondstadt story you’ll get a free fast teleport there! It’s mostly in case you roll the new characters that need materials from that region). The only place that’s completely locked down is Inazuma. You’ll have to get a few chapters in the game to get there, but that’s the only exploration exception.

Anyway, at the start of the video someone bought you a welkin moon which gives you primos and genesis crystals (you can use genesis crystals to buy skins or turn them into more primos)...
From the 10 pull you got a (guaranteed) Noelle, Xingqiu, Fischl and Barbara (which you get for free later), that's some great luck!

16:28 You can start the story quest by going to the quest menu and then going to "story quests", which let you know more about the character. Though I'm pretty sure you unlock that menu later on.

21:00 You need to collect 3 anemograna, which are the little things on the ground. Once you collect them they will create a wind current for you to grab the anemoculus.

23:02 Barbara creates like a little hydro circle around you which heals you, but also applies hydro to your character which could get you frozen sometimes.

24:11 It's just normal water, it heals you for 1 hp. If you go there at night, you will see him take water from the nearby pond which is like a mini easter egg.

26:16 After you complete an archon quest the red border will expand, allowing you to explore a lot further down the map.

Here is a bit of advice/tips (apologies if anything is incorrect or confusing):
-The electric ore can be broken with Pyro
-Someone gifted you a Welkin Moon, which basically gives you free primogems for 30 days
-Feel free to take your time exploring and enjoy yourself
-The world unlocks gradually as you progress through the story
-If you go into the character menus, you can read about character talents (it explains what the characters do)
-Ascending and leveling up characters is also important too
-Most of the shops and vendors unlock after completing the quests
-You can use food that you cook when you don’t have access to the statues; you’ll also unlock recipes
-You can use starglitter and stardust to buy things in the shop such as characters, wishes, etc.
-Every 90 wishes is a guaranteed 5 star, and you have a 50/50 chance of getting the 5 star on the event banners or else you’ll end up with a standard character. Although it is likely you’ll get five stars at early pity too, especially later on. Four stars are guaranteed every 10 pulls, and getting four in one is a very impressive feat.
Anyway I hope this helps you on your journey in Teyvat :)
Also I forgot to mention:
-Each character has a passive skill (for example, Amber consumes less stamina when gliding I think?)
-Lore comes with literally everything (although I genuinely find it all so interesting)
-There are some timed events and stuff that players who started basically after the first few versions of the game missed, so it may explain why certain characters from different regions may know each other or why characters act certain ways, for example.
-You can set up your birthday on your profile for a surprise (if you’d like ofc-)
-Special programs normally happen monthly and give out information about upcoming content and characters

Oh dear god, I just wrote a long comment and it got deleted because my internet was acting up... SMH MY HEAD. Hopefully I can say it all again...
CONGRATSS on that INSAANEE 4 4* character pull! I also think you got incredibly lucky because you got Noelle, Barbara and Fischl who are all Mondstadt characters, which means that you will be able to build them early on in the game! Even Xingqiu is a character from Liyue, which is the nation that you will visit after completing the Mondstadt quest so you will be able to build him early too!
Namely, there are MANY 4* characters that you can get, however, the problem for new players is that many of these characters are from other nations (currently, the game has 5 released nations), many of which are only accessible after you complete certain prerequisite quests and cannot access them otherwise.
That being said, building characters isn't a priority for you at the very moment. You might, however, encounter this problem later on. As you progress with the quests and with exploration, you will encounter enemies that are more challenging and also higher level, which is why building characters is essential. AND if the character hails from the nation that you can't access yet, you would not be able to obtain the materials they need to be upgraded, hence they would be stuck at a lower level for a while. This is why the current state of Genshin is not exactly friendly towards newer players. BUT I find the fact you got 3 Mondstadt characters right off the bat incredibly lucky! But, like I said, building characters and making them stronger are all problems for later hehe. Right now just have fun with the game!

Great job on getting 4 different 4 stars on you very first wish! Here are some information about these new characters you got and I hope to see you building them well in the future! (Most of this knowledge can be applied later game because it has to do about artifacts)
Xingqiu is an amazing sub-dps character; he can do lots of damage and apply hydro to enemy’s for elemental reactions like kaeya’s freeze.( he can also heal a bit too) for his artifacts you can put reagular good damage dealing stats like crit rate and crit damage but he can also have some energy recharge to charge his burst faster. Give him a mix of both because you might want to focus all your good crit and energy recharge to someone else (hint hint), he is only a sub dps though so it’s better to stack all your best crit on your main.
Fishel is an amazing character for elemental reactions due to her fast applying electro. She mainly needs energy recharge so focus more on that for her. She might not do the most damage but she can cause good reactions for other characters. Her play style is you put out her bird and swap out and it keep going apply more off field so then almost anyone can take advantage and attack with extra damage. Amber can cause overload which deals an explosion of bonus damage. Kaeya can cause superconduct which buffs normal attack damage. Xingqiu can cause electro charged and spark damage chaining to all the enemy’s on field and cause a bit more damage.
Barbara is a healer and she scales of of her health. If you get more health on her she can do more healing. An amazing weapon for her is the thrilling tales of dragon slayers.
I personally don't use noelle so I might not be able to provide the best information about her I’m sorry about that.
Anyways make sure to level your characters and their weapons as much as you can. Have fun playing genshin impact!

as someone who has done basically everything in the game, its so much fun to see someone play it for the first time and enjoying it so much! it takes me back to the feeling of playing it for the first time myself, which is one of my favourite experiences/feelings :,D and congrats on the 4 characters in one pull hhaha, thats really good! getting fischl and xingqiu early game is super super practical, as they work well on basically any team. fischl was one of my first characters too, i mained her for a long time, and still love to use her now 2 years later even though i have 5-stars i could use instead. she’s just that good. same with xingqiu

I love your videos, as someone who's been playing for 2+ years, watching them takes me back to when I first started playing. After a while it's really easy to start feeling bored and burnt out so watching you be so excited to read into the lore and explore the world is really refreshing and reminds me why I feel in love with Genshin. Only one thing is that if I were you I'd complete the archon quest first (the main story) bc for the time being it locks you out of the other regions (the red barrier) after one part you're get locked from progressing the story to get to a higher account level and that's when you'll have time and freedom to explore

i would recommend using either noelle or barbara- they both provide heals, but noelle also provides a shield.
xingqiu and/or fischl, they’re both really good for new players, and xingqiu is still really strong in the late game!
kaeya or traveler are viable 4th options, but you should definitely use xiangling once you’re able to get her for free!
i would say that fischl is still very good in late game
xiangling so annoying early game though...you never get her burst up and guoba is unreliable

@@salceds guoba used to be even worse when he didn't track enemies, now he's only unreliable when the enemies are on a slope or flying too high.

Side tips for your playthrough: Leveling your characters will boost your performance alot! so if you really like their playstyle, I suggest leveling them which will increase their overall stats and unlock some extra passive skills by ascending them! You don't need to rush and it's possible to level as many as you want as long as u grind or have the materials needed...
Also, building a character properly isn't needed for early to mid game, you just need to keep on track with the best weapon and artifacts your characters can use!
Lastly, party setup is the way to success as you'll need a good combinations of characters that works best together like Kaeya and Xingqui combo! Though you can play whoever you want for your enjoyment. Just a heads up, teamwork makes dream work!
My only advice in this game(as a new player too lol) is to just play at your own pace, besides daily quests when you unlock it (and the 90 primogems everyday, I was gonna buy that 😂), do those everyday I guess, but other stuff can always be done at another time, it’s how I got 10 wishes fast😮 I’m learning a ton of stuff but it’s so overwhelming, I know I’ll get used to it eventually though 😅😊

You can change a Genesis Crystals to a priorigems in a shop.
1 crystal -> 1 priorigem
3:44 you can see that what star thing you get.
A blue light is a 3 star character, 4 star is a purple light, and gold light is 5 star.
You can have a 5/4 start character OR wepon.
Important is doimg an aranchon quest. It gives you a new places, journy, sometimes new characters, new items, priorigems and more.
Now you have to go to tample of Lion i think to get Lisa.
Barbara is an healer what means her vision power heals your characters. Its really usefull is a fight bc sometimes you runout of food.
(Here are other healers i thinked abt: Jean and Sayu but in games you have more of them)
When you click a V button you will see a way to your quest location. Thats usefull so ig you lost meanwhile doing a quest, it will helps you so much.
On G button you have tutorial. There you have a tutorial abt everything you meeted or did. Like using a elementals powers or combat. If you check a new tutorial you will get an priorigem.
20:38 just click a X button to fell of. It helps a lot.
If you want to change your party, the quickest way is clicking a J button and stop moving. It will automatly show you a party.

Bow characters can shot really quick. Just click a left button of mouse to see.
You can upgrade your wepon or change it to better one. Just open a menu, then select a characters next thing to do is pick a character that we wanna change/upgrade character and click wepons.
If you want to change click switch and upgrade then click ehnange (idk how to write it ok?)
33:43 Big slimes can jump on you. When they jump on a ground you will se a red circle. In a circle you will get a damage. When you are in just rum out.
Using a elemental power in a fight is important. Just clicking E/Q to activate them. In fight you can change a character. Like if you used an Xingxion E skill change to np Noelle and use her skill understend?
You have a mission and quest. There you can see np. quest your doing. It will helps you when you will start to have so many mission in the same time
In every city you can found an adventers guild. Theres a Katheryne, she can give you free tings for doing a daily missions, do a adventure rang on a bigger level and some other tings. Actually you have adventure rang on sixs so go talk to her and get free items and priorigems. When you are entering a Mondstantd on your left and right you have a road. Cross it and on your left you will have her. She is in every city but now you have only one so i dont need to explain you now where she is in others citys.
In some places you can cook (if you cant just use an pyro vison on it, ahhh and when is raining you cant). Cooking can gives you an meals. With meals you can revive dead/fallen character, heal you, gives you an bigger stamina(only for some time, bigger DEF AKT ang other things (fot not to long like 300sec. )
To use them just click menu, inventory and pick dishes. Find a meal with a green plus to heal your character, with green (idk) thing other then plus to revive, blue sheld to DEF, yellow person to stamina, red swords for ATK itp.
Ahhh and you dont need to talk with everyone, most of them are NPC and they just do nothing. NPC with a name AND a blue words have a quest for you or you can buy something at them.
And thats all i think. You are so lucky at wishing. Maybe just do a quest to have 1600 priorigems and try your luck on a time banner. Time banners are the second and thirtd from the left. When you select one of them you will se how long it will be, or are pernamet what means never go away.

Xingqiu is one of the best characters in the game, Fischl is also really strong, especially early on. You should focus on building those 2 characters first.

Might make sense for you to look through the Talents on the characters screen, if you want to know how the characters abilities work. It even shows how the damage is calculated for every attack if you want to know the details.
Speaking of details, if you are on the wish screen, you can also click on the details button on the bottom left. It will tell you everything you could get and how high the chances are for everything if you want to read something up. It is very detailed though.
Just keep in mind that the details are always just for the banner you are currently looking at, not for all of them in general.
(As some people mentioned "soft pity", the detail screen does not mention that for some reason, but don't let it confuse you, it does exist.)
Fishl might be one of the most useful chars right now even if just because of how easily you can use her ability while playing as someone else. Even if you just switch to her, activate her raven, and immediately switch to another character, she is already strong.
You could, for example, play as Xingqiu 99% of the time if you want and just switch to Fishl and back for a moment for her summon. In that case you are playing as Xingqiu while the raven just helps you.
Honestly that is an insane 10 pull wish. Hope you have fun exploring the rest of Teyvat!
make sure to look around for mini bosses and domains. mini bosses often give really good chests like luxuries and that. And domains give you primos and artifacts along with alot of mora. (im not talking about the artifact domains, im talking about the other ones.)
also the occuli are really useful because once given to the statue, you can get heart of depths keys. the depths give luxry and exquisite chests. they also give anemo sigils which can be used to by alot of good things, like mora and that.
also in dragonspine there is a quest that will let you unlock a soup that heats you up and keeps you warm. Very usefull.
edit: if you see any chests or occuli or depths that you cannot open or get to. MARK. IT. DOWN. its very important so you dont loose where they are. also really loving the series so far, keep up the good work

I got Bennett, Xingqiu (the blue guy you got) and Noelle on my first pull, but you have me beat. Hopefully this will make the game a lot more fun for you! Also, whenever a character's birthday comes around, if you log in, you get mail with gifts from them along with some nice dialogue!

The first time I played, only mondstatdt and Liyue were out, and I was already overwhlemed by how huge it was! Now you have a whole 5 nations to explore. Sumeru is as big as Mond and Liyue combined. Btw, the nations in teyvat take inspiration from real-life countries. Mondstadt is modeled after Germany, and Liyue, the nation you’ll head to after this, is based off China. Inazuma is based off Japan, and Sumeru is a mix of south Asian, middle eastern and African references. Fontaine is based off France and Europe. Can’t wait to see your trek across teyvat!!
Xinqiu is a really good support, you should focus on leveling him up the most :)
I found the channel today and just seen all episodes on your adventure and i truly love it i hope and want you keep going with it as long as you can. I also understand you love the ingame lore and let me tell you LOTS await you. That said, you have sadly forever missed on some lore that was intergraded inside of limited time events and it sucks as that would really help you get connected to the characters and know just a bit more if the story. One solution is to watch it from other youtubers such as bwaap (he made, and still to a degree, makes playthroughs on the game and you really reminded me of him from back then). You could watch and learn about said story and lore but the thing is, mihoyo were releasing those events parallel to the story so watching those events now would NOT be ideal. There are definitely people who have uploaded timelines on when to, i guess experience those events but it might make you confused so i dont know if i should recommend it to you. You also have some friends that have been playing for a while so they should be able to help you get put on track without spoiling anything for you. I could try helping too if you have any questions i ve been playing since the launch and im ALL for lore (there are also a few others that analyse the lore in insanely great depth and make theories with all that is available to us up to that point. One channel i can reccomend for that is Minsleif BUT you dont need to go that far just yet. KEEP all that for later and just keep having fun! We re all gonna be here to support you for anything you need. Again i can answer any question about anything you need for this game, we fr love you🙏🫶
Getting 4 characters in 1 10 pull is actually crazy lucky and also both however the hell u spell the blue hair Boys name and fischl are some of the best 4 star characters in the game
you are so unintentionally funny, love it. Take your time and do what you want in the game. also, never feel pressured to pull for characters just because people tell you X and Y are good charas. You will very quickly get bored of charas if you don't personally like them.
4 characters, that's amazing! Fischl and Xingqiu are some of the strongest characters to get early on, congrats!
Few things as well:
-Cryo is pronounced Cry-o, but if you feel like using your own pronunciation, that's fine as well.
-The purple crystals that shocked you need to be hit by pyro to be collected.
-Make sure to put new weapons on your characters, the 3 star passives can be quite useful on certain characters.
-Most of all, have fun!

Tips for new player in GI Combat:
Try to use skill off cooldown (whenever they are not on cooldown), they cost nothing and will give you energy particle that will then allow you to use your burst. Some ability like Fischl stay on field for a long time even when you switch character making them perfect to cause multiple reaction combined with other character ability
Try to use energy recharge piece on your artifact whenever you find them (crit chance is second most important stat then atk). ER piece increase your energy gain to allow you do Burst more often and burst does a lot of damage or even crucial for some character to truly shine (Noelle for example). While Fischl Burst is just extension for her skill which is nice but not as game changing
When you upgrade your weapon try to do it manually and avoid feeding 3* weapon that you get from wishing in banner. They are considered trash in end game but will significantly boost your character performance on early game. Don't forget to resonate them if you have multiple of the same copy. (You will also get 3* weapon from chest from time to time, try to lock them and keep at least 1 copy of each weapon at resonance 5 before feeding them to your weapon to upgrade cuz some of them are still useful even in end game for your support character like Zhongli with his HP polearm or Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer with insane atk buff)
There are countless mechanic in this game combat like elemental reaction but I don't think you need to worry about that too much, just combine any two (sometimes three if it is Dendro) element and you will deal more damage. Most of the time you will need to use skill or burst to apply element so that's why skill and burst are the main priority.
Just focus on these for now and you should be fine until AR 32 then learn slowly as there are lot of tutorial in the game to help as you go.
To light up the map you have to unlock the statue of the seven, right now you don’t have the main quest completed so it won’t let you leave the red circle so you have to do the main quest. For your characters to do more damage you can level them up with the books or change and level up their weapons. Barbara’s skill makes a ring around you that heals your characters that are on screen and her elemental burst heals all the characters in the party.

-Facing the statue in the city, go to the stairs in your right where there's a sparkly thingy
-Fight the robot at the Thousand Winds Temple
-Go to the northern part of the map and jump down the water fall near a grey circle

Xingqiu and Fischl are both quite good characters so you really lucked out. Character profiles don’t often give lore for the world (they do sometimes). They mostly give backstory to characters. Most lore will be in books, artefacts and weapons that you can read about in your archive.
I love your gameplay, you're looking at things that most of us woould ignore during the gameplay and I love how you don't know anything about the game yet, it's so entertaining to watch :D
I strongly reccomend you build fishyl and xingxui. They are insane units when pared with the right charcters.

@@FeralCabbage xD That is sweet opinion. Amber charge shot is good for taking down Anemo Hypostasis at the end when it will spawn few anemo orbs which will regenerate boss if not destroyed in time. Amber can destroy them all with charged shots if you don't waste time and shoot one after another...which is great!!

Her Oz stays on field after u switch to other party member and stays for quite a time for you to make some element reactions. and her ultimate can help you get out from tight spot and also put Oz on the field. aaaa best advice....try to use Ultimates as much as possible... don't matter that they are weak. with this you will get sooner get used to play it in full potential as later all players need to if want to face end game content. (All the rotations are about use of skills and Ultimates in right time to combine with other characters skills and their ultimates for boosts, buffs, reactions, and like this u will learn step by step best rotations intuitively). Definitely don't worry about not playing effectively right now xD We all had our "beginnings" xD
dang! You got such good characters on your first pull! you could easily make a great team with xingqiu, fischl, Lisa, and dendro traveler (you get him when you interact with a statue in Sumeru)
Also, you can convert the genesis crystals you got when you logged into the game to primogems. You can use the primogems to get wishes, I recommend you use the primogems for the purple fates instead of the blue fates since you get free blue fates from the story.
That was a great pull!
As for who to play, try them out yourself and see what sort of playstyles you like. If you like a certain character then maybe see if there's some teams you can build around that character. Don't listen to comments telling you that you "must" or "should" play a certain character or that you have to play a certain character a specific way. The only place this even matters is late endgame, and even then it's not a big deal and something you can ignore while still achieving max possible.
Xingqiu is an AMAZING hydro character! His Q is great for elemental reactions + damage, and it still works when you switch to another character!

E = skill (don't shy away from using it, It will generate elemental particles )

T = special interaction ( ignore this for now but you will need in future)
Hold TAB and use mouse for quick access wheel
F1 = adventure hand book
F2 = co-op menu
F3 = wish menu
F4 = battle pass
after that I don't even use

WHAT?? That’s some insane luck! I got yelan on my first ten pull 😂. Btw, those characters might be able to do ALOT of damage. You could use fischl as an electro applier and xinqui for the elemental reactions. Btw, If you get 6 Barbara’s then you will be able to revive your dead characters. Also, idk If you already know this, but when your by the tree, use your characters elements to attack the pillar looking things. That will activate the pillars. Once you activate all of them, you will get a chest. Remember that you need to use a different element for every pillar.

Out of what I have seen so far, Fischl and Xingqiu are the best damage dealers on the team (coming from a Fischl main myself-)
Barbra is a good healer, and Noelle is good for shields! But not many people end up sticking with them the whole time :D
It's so nice seeing first-time players experiencing the game! Brings me back to when I started playing and didn't know anything or anyone that played.
That is an incredible set of 4* you got. I suggest an exploration team of *Kaeya, Anemo Traveler (flex), Xinqiu, and Noelle*.
* Kaeya is a tall, male character. The character models are actually important for exploration because they have different speeds. At your level, you don't have much stamina, so tall males like Kaeya are really helpful early on because they use less stamina when sprinting and climbing. Not to mention the ice bridging. He's also the best starter character with a solid kit because he can be built for main or sub-dps. He's good on his own, but with someone with Xinqiu, who applies Hydro to enemies, freezing them is an easy and effective strategy.
* You need Anemo for much of Mondstat. There is a lot of enemies that are resistant or immune, but you need it for puzzles and activation points. This is also a flex spot for someone like *Amber* because you do need Pyro a lot for the earlier puzzles.
* You like Xinqiu and he's a solid character. Great Hydro application and sub-dps. That means he does damage off-field. He can be off-field while Kaeya is on-field. He does a bit of healing, so that is useful.
* Noelle provides shields and healing. She is a claymore-user, so she's helpful for breaking rocks and such early in-game. Be mindful that she breaks freezes as a claymore character, and she needs to be on field doing damage with her shield up to heal.
** Fischl is also incredible. Does amazing off-field damage, and you can combine her with Xinqiu to do a "taser comp". Use Fischl's E (Oz), then switch to Xinqiu to apply the Hydro. You can use her instead of Kaeya if you prefer.
I say this all because I think it's more important to focus on exploration early in the game than the other stuff. Just let yourself be immersed in the gameplay and it all comes together. Have fun!
