the color of damage numbers means what type of damage it is.
Orange numbers - fire dmg
White - physical dmg
Cyan - Wind dmg
e. t. c.
some enemies may be immune or more resistant to some type of dmg. for examples fire slimes immune to fire, robots have high resistant to physical dmg
Lately im low on data... But i somehow find my way in UA-cam.. 🥂
I love the fact that every one who’s new to genshin has the same reaction to Timmy.

when I talked to him I started laughing so hard- I still felt a bit bad but uh the way he was talking was kinda rude so eh
And no matter HOW careful you are, the birds still fly away so they awaken my hunting instincts of "its running, must kill"
After I learned the reason why Timmy like likes pigeons I stoped killing them.
He hangs around pigeons because he thinks he can send letters to his dead dad with pigeons

I see everyone dropping their tips, so I'll share my thoughts too. Don't listen to anyone saying "do not invest into a certain character, it's weak and not worth it". Genshin is a pve game with barely any endgame content, thus there is no point of following the meta just for the sake of clearing the abyss. So if you wanna invest into your Lisa - do it. You may not have such a big damage output (in comparison, or course), but you will enjoy playing your favourite character - that's the main goal. Well, if you are aiming on being as efficient as possible, you should learn from guides, but if you just wanna have some fun - don't bother too much :)

@BranOnline that's definitely what I recommend as well. Practically any and all characters are viable ESPECIALLY at this level. The only times where you need to ever follow a meta is in spiral abyss, or higher level content, but even then a well built character is all you need! What's best is to have 4 or more characters that you enjoy that work well together, that's all that's needed.

Timmie is one of the most genius things that Mihoyo planted in the game. The character placement, when players are still curious to talk to every npcs. Then they hit them with the dialogue. *slow clap*

Regarding the wishing system, i suggest you use the Acquaint Fates (the blue ones that you got from the mail, for example) that the game gives you for free... But don't spend primogems to buy them from the shop. It's better to buy Intertwined Fates (the purple-ish ones), which are the ones used to try and get promotional characters.
Also remember: every 10 wishes you make you get at least a 4* character or weapon, and at 90 you have a guaranteed 5* (with increased chances after the 75th wish) so you'll eventually get rare characters. You just need patience... or some luck, of course.

Oh and you have to watch out about the characters on the banners, some of them are overlooked like xinyan, and some of them are underrated like bennett or xingqiu

It was so fun seeing you have so much fun. I started giggling the moment you turned towards Timmie. It's a community joke that people will find new and creative ways to kill his birds to bully him.
In a couple of videos I may have messed up with Timmie again xD
I have never killed Timmie's birds. I was so shocked the first time I saw someone do it in a video. It never occurred to me to ever do that!

@@azurite4296 For me too… I have a stupid problem: I need to have all the characters I don’t want at the same level. So I want to level them up to level 50

coming back to the beginning of the game its startling to see how far the VAs have come in regards to establishing their characters voice. their voices here are more in the experimental phase as of current thought they have fully established their characters and their voices. paimon and kaeya especially
I was like "stop killing the lizards!!!" They're collectibles hahaa
39:49 you can spend those blue fates you already have but don’t buy them with your primogems, it is common to save primos to wish for a certain character you really want! Different characters are available around every 3 weeks. Pulling on the weapon banner is also not recommended if you don’t plan to spend much money. At least every ten pulls you are gonna get a 4 star and every 90 pulls you have a guaranteed 5 star which is 50% the character from the banner ! Sounds complicated but you will get the hang of it :D
also if the 50% doesn't get you the banner character, the next 5* is 100% going to be the banner one

@@fatpotato1211 80 pulls is soft pity. You're likely to get it around 80 pulls, but it's not 100%, the hard 100% pity is on 90

This guys positive attitude towards the game is actually really wholesome and I'm glad Genshin is getting the recognition it deserves!
I've been playing since launch and it's always refreshing seeing other people fall in love with the game. If I can give you any advise, collect EVERYTHING you come across, hoard all materials because the higher level you get the more you'll need them and farming is a bitch later.

I love seeing you experience the game for the first time!! It's so fun :D Can't wait to see more of your playthrough! You can freely use the blue wishes (Acquaint Fates) on the beginner banner which gives you a discounted 10 pull and a free geo character called noelle! The blue wishes can also be used on the standard banner called Wanderlust Invocation. Typically you want to save your primogems to use on the limited character banners, which use different wishes that are purple and are called Intertwined Fates.

The best Wish Banner to spend your Primos on are definitely the Character Banners.
Every 10 wishes you will receive a 4-star weapon or character.
Genshin also has a pity system in place to guarantee a 5-star character after 90. The soft pity for the 5-stars starts around wish 75 and on. But that 5-star character you receive may not be the one featured on the banner giving you a 50/50 chance. But when you don’t receive the 5-star featured on the banner the first time your guarantee the second time to receive that featured character.

Oh I love finding new players and seeing how excited they get! Take your time and enjoy the experience now.
Each item you collect has a story to it that you can read, and some journals or weapons you pick up have stories that connect to npcs you'll meet and can talk to - the lore is super extensive if you look into it.

Hi!!! I was super excited when you finally uploaded your gameplay here! Most people have probably said this but it's important that you save your primogems for the banner that you really want (especially if you're F2P!). As a low spender (I buy the welkin moon every month and sometimes the battlepass when I have money), saving primogems and fates are really important. Super love your reactions and playthrough and I can't wait for more content from you! Also, don't rush the game, just enjoy!

I’ve been playing the game since launch and now an end-game player and altho this sounds a bit too early and too much, I’d like to share a few tips:
1. Don’t rush the game. It’s healthy for you both as a player, and as a content creator. As a player, enjoy the scenery, the music, the little stuff here and there and immerse yourself in genshin’s world. As a content creator, I’ve witnessed some who ruined their “genshin impact content” by rushing the game because they felt like they’re missing out and now they barely upload anything because they have nothing to do. Do some side quests, exploration, story quests, event etc don’t rush the game but don’t hold back on the amount of content you want to show we’ll always be sure watch your content anyway.
2. It’s okay to not master the elemental reactions right away so don’t get intimidated by it. Have fun experimenting you’ll definitely get a hold of it pretty quickly.

Personally, I think them giving you Anemo (wind) first is a brilliant move since Anemo’s reaction mixed all available elements for a reaction, so you can learn what elements do what with what other elements.
It’s been so long since I started genshin so I forgot about the start. It reminds me of my first genshin days, making me feel nostalgic. It was so magical at the time. Also Paimon’s old voice was surprisingly nostalgic. Nice video!

Gotta love watching new players explore this stunning world for the first time! I hope you enjoy the journey! It def has a BoTW feel in the beginning but once you start getting into the combat, switching between characters to make elemental combos, it definitely feels like it's own. It might feel a bit overwhelming at first with everything you need to do but take your time because there is no need to rush.
Everything here resonated, I'm on day 4 right now and it's starting to feel natural, I'm in love 😂

27:24 everyone has this reaction when first speaking to timmie, then after a couple months people who don't have healers in their party kill these birds for food still knowing that dialog exists...
btw the best method to kill all birds is using kujou sara's E and shoot at the ground near the birds

well i would say it's devided between the people that are okay with paimon, and the ones that hate her high pitched voice (her voice get's higher as the game goes on) and thinks she becomes a bit too dumb/clueless at times, an example would be asking stupid questions. Personally i like paimon tho.

Glad you enjoy your first impression of the game, and welcome to the community! I do recommend saving your wishes for whenever a new character does catch your eye, as it can be quite hard to get some of the rarer ones. You do get 50 pulls by completing that survey you got on the mail, and you may want to at least do a 10x pull on the begginer's banner for a guaranteed healer character. Other than that, take the game at your own pace, explore as much as you want, and try your luck at the new events whenever they come around!

At early level, try to focus on the story because everything will make sense along the way, then once you can get to a higher level you can now focus on making your characters better

About learning the elemental reactions. The game has a optional dungeon that opens at some point in the Monstadt region. It has short challenges for learning all the different elemental reactions.
It opens a little later at the game so by that point you'll propably know how your main team's elements react through experimenting already.
It is however handy to go through it eventually. Just for a reference I believe my characters were around level 35-60 at the time.

I adore these kind of videos because they remind me of the reason WHY i love genshin impact and of how i felt when i first started playing. i miss the feeling of wonder and curiosity and amazement

I'd recommend unlocking all the Liyuee teleport and statues especially on the West side as a lot of Chapter 1 is there, just make it easier when u want to do story time not to keep climbing up and down mountains. You can now take on Divalin as a weekly boss gives some nice rewards. You'll pretty soon get AR locked when that happens u have to do an ascension domain to advance, the good thing is the layout is always the same. You should also unlock daily commission quest keys soon this will allow u on the left side to unlock more story missions (similar to Dark knight hero, Amber, Kayae) or on the right outings (Dates). Can you do a reaction to the new Thoma trailer on that just came out today?

@@BranOnline I do prefer doing it that way since it's more organic to the story, and when the story does take you places, it's your first time being there, so it has more of an impact. That's how I did it in my playthrough, and I still do.

@@BranOnline The best part is yet to come each Inazuma island is completely unique and has it's own style yet it melds together well as 1 region. Yeah i think i did something similar when i was playing to. 2 items i think u'll find very useful are the anemo/geo culis resonance stone and the treasure finder item (city reputation quests). 1st one makes it much easier when ur statue is level 9 and u can't seem to find the last few and the 2nd will help finding any treasure chests that remain gotta hunt all those primogems :)

Definitely roll for Noelle in the Wish section (the one that’s discounted to 8). It’s a guaranteed roll and she’s one of the most useful characters in the game, especially if you’re Free to Play. She’s carried my team all the way to AR 55. She’s the most well rounded character- a decent DPS with good defense and healing abilities. Build her on ATK artifacts to start, but in late game if you get her 6th constellation, you can build her around DEF artifacts instead and she becomes a god tier DPS with that buff.

I really like her also. I got Razor on a random wish and he is one of my other favorites.
