The yoimiya trial part was so hilarious. Feral was so focused in game while people in the chat like, "PRESS E then Spam Normal Attack!" 🤣🤣🤣

For future reference, if you ever use Yoimiya again please DON'T use her charged attack. As a Yoimiya main seeing that shortened my lifespan 💀. Basically you use her elemental skill and then instantly spam left click. She's a machine gun.

The character that has 'red mask', Kujou Sara is actually wearing a Tengu mask 👺 iirc she's descendant of one of youkai(mystical being) in inazuma, Tengu(crow, inspires by folklore youkai from japan) Clan.
I love how detailed the world is in Genshin!
@@FeralCabbage yes! Genshin is truly amazing in term of world building and where they took the inspiration from. Also, Sara's shoes is actually very true to the rl counterparts. It often used with traditional kimono(Japanese clothing)

"Euthymia" basically means "feeling good". Raiden's plane of euthymia is her personal pocket dimension. It'll make more sense when you play the main Inazuma story quest.

Yoimiya and Ayato work well together since ayato burst increases normal attack damage which is where a majority of yoimiyas damage comes from, and it can trigger vaporize
Well since I have Raiden from her 1st rerun might as well get yomiya for so ayato won’t always have to be it’s the shogun.

@@FeralCabbage I don't know if you're asking for an explanation, but if you are then I'll elaborate.
In a vacuum, there is synergy. They are both characters with on-field damage on a cooldown and an off-field ability to support the team.
The problem begins when you realise that a team is 4 characters, and so synergy needs to take that into account. So while theoretically they should be able to fill each other's downtime, when you have to use abilities on your other characters they don't actually have downtime. Plus, most on-fielders generate a lot less energy than most supports, so using two of them would mean you would have to build a lot more recharge. Remember, the only reason they have theoretical synergy is because their ults can support each other, so energy issues just kill all synergy.
There are also a lot more things that cause problems. The only common supports they have are Bennett and maybe Yunjin. Also most buffs, including the two I mentioned, don't really last long enough to accommodate their combined field times.
I personally don't believe that either of them are bad units, but using them together is a very bad idea. I don't even think it's fun bad, it's just bad in the way that running too many healers would be bad. You don't really need them, they don't work well together and having less slots in your team for other things only ends up hurting your enjoyment.
Once you get to Yoimiya's story quest, you'll forget all about Amber.

The Bennett hate triggered me so much. He is one of the best thing the game has. One of the three OG supports and still on top on 4* universal support list. Anyway the Yoimiya trial remind me of my old days. I did the same lol.

Bennet is a great healer but even a better ATK buffer make sure to use a sword with a high base ATK for him
Sara looks cool but gameplay wise she’s niche to only being a support for electro characters that’s why the most common use of her is being a support for the Raiden Shogun

If you have time to read chat, I'm sure they can wait for you to read character talents...Please! It's not about going blind anymore! At least read them briefly and you can still experiment all you want. Try pressing each skill and see how it works first before activating the trial also works if you absolutely don't want to read!
I love that you pay attention to the story and play at your own pace, but at this point I just feel bad for the chars and for you not seeing even half of their potentials that it's hard to keep watching 😂

@@FeralCabbage I can totally understand that. Quick tip on this is to focus on reading the sentences with highlighted words from top to buttom. You can start with reading skill (E) and burst (Q), then the 2 passives. Or check the scalings, if you see something scaling off a certain stat (76% + 3.7HP%) then it tends to be important.
Take your time with the read, and you can ask chat where you're confused. Some chars are just impossible to comprehend through visual cues alone. It will make everything easier in the long run. More understanding, more engagement, it's a win-win!
With Sara's e, it makes the next fully charged attack strike the ground with lightning. Its an aoe attack and it takes a bit to strike

@@FeralCabbage side note! It has another effect since sara is actually a support! If you aim it downwards, and switch REALLY quickly to another character, the explosion will buff the attack of the newer character based on how much attack Sara has

I love to wish on every banner, just to have that hype w/ the community. That's why I love this game so much, the community that it's given me. That being said, the confusion came from the fact that I had already gotten every Limited Wish (forgot what they're called) from the shop for Rosaria xD
Sara's shoes are weird because they're a special type of Japanese footwear called a geta. Wooden slippers basically. Usually geta have two "teeth" at the base, but Sara's is a special type of geta called a "tengu geta", which only has one.
(The following aren't spoilers, just information)
The reason for those shoes: Sara is actually a creature from Japanese folklore called a karasu (crow) tengu. That's why she's depicted as having black wings (which show up in one of her idles and her burst animation). The mask isn't a plague doctor mask. It's a bird mask, a representation of a tengu's face. She pulls out a feather fan during one of her idles and burst as well, and tengu are usually depicted as having a magical feather fan.
That's actually fascinating, I love the attention to detail in this game.
yoimia test run was hard to watch
bennett skill is best if you just tap it. it's not there to do too much damage, just used it to recover energy particles for his burst.
bennett is a great partner for xiangling because her pyronado does a thing called snapshotting. which means any buffs like bennett's burst AOE will be carried on even if the pyronado leaves the burst field.
btw the bennett cosplayers taking a shit is a bennett thing lol...!! ur chat doesnt know what theyre talking bout. bennett once said smth about him having diarrhea thats why 💀😂
Oh wow, that Yoimiya gameplay was... something. Oh well, we all gotta start somewhere and reading the text is the only way you'd find that out on your own, but I guess it'd be weird with no context of how Genshin phrases stuff.
Here's an example of that wonderful weirdness regarding Raiden. Her sword attacks count as Normal, Charged or Plunging Attack moves but the damage she does using those moves is strictly Elemental Burst damage. This has pretty big implications for how you build Raiden and how she interacts with other character abilities.

Yoimiya excels more in normal attacks than charged attacks. Her E skill enhances her normals attacks too and it is infused with pyro.

you have to understand that not every character is a DPS
That charged-attack Yoimiya play almost gave me a heart attack.😅
With that said, a friendly tip is that you tend to always go for the special charged attacks with all archers, when quick normal attacks would often do (specially at close range).

I find it weirdly hard to understand the talents. I find myself enjoying the game more when I find my own strategies through my own gameplay
@@FeralCabbage Thats fair! But there are definitely things not knowable through gameplay alone so thats something to keep in mind! Like, you wouldnt know Chevreuse's buffs work when its mono pyro and electro, or Freminet has stacks for his skill to work, or that Kujou Sara's explosion from the skill buffs attack damage for the team for her burst unless you read comments or talents. I think the starter characters set a precedent for skills that you understood from just how it looks, but when it comes to 5 stars and especially supports it is impossible to eyeball their skill's effects
Oops I'm late for this but I definitely think you should try to get Bennett! He's extremely useful and flexible. He goes well on like 90% of teams
Yeah Bennet is actually the strongest buffer the game. Arguablly the best character in the game as support.
