I asked CHAT GPT to ROAST my sheep farm. ~ a humbling new way to make New Year's resolutions??

- As we sit in this void of New Year's being over, but the holidays aren't quite over... I find myself floundering as to what 2025 should look like.
I'm not one for resolutions, but have been watching people create vision boards. So I'm gonna try making one of my own!
As for the sheep, I needed a brutally honest assessment of how I'm running my sheep farm to figure out next steps. So I did what any other self loathing person would do... ask Chat GPT to roast my sheep farm, but also give me recommendations on how to improve!
What's your plan or dream for 2025?! Let me know in the comments!
#sheep #newyear #chatgpt

I am stunned that you feel 2024 didn’t have a vision. You built that huge building and immensely expanded your merchandise business. By nearly every standard that was a huge accomplishment. You have every right to feel proud of what you are creating.
And reaching out to Courtney in the nick of time. (they both thought it was too late) All those multiples & no ewes died from preg tox!! 🎆💕💕
This! 3 lambings, improved feeding that totally worked, the merch, the building, starting Jess' apartment...it's a long list and you nailed it all!
I agree. Every one of those projects started with a vision
Exactly!!
You are superwoman Sandi! 😊
Sandi, you have over 1.18 million subscribers who love you as you are. On your worst days you look better than I do when I come in from the garden! If I could wish one thing for you in the New Year it is that when you get a negative comment you could smile, brush it off - and delete them from your channel with a 'million plus people can't be wrong'.
By the way I loved it in the summer when you wore the bandana. So refreshing.
Amen
I wish I could hit the like button on this comment 100 times!
Hear, hear!
Beautiful put & so true ❤️❤️❤️❤️👋👋👋👋🇦🇺
Well said. Totally agree with a huge accomplishment of bringing your fulfilment home & building that big ass shed/warehouse building & unit to put it all in. I also agree to delete the negative comment people. Yep, get rid of them off your channel. If they loved you like we all do, they wouldn't be nasty & write such horrible comments. We love you just the way you are, Sandi.
Sandi, I have been watching regularly for 6 years. One thing I KNOW for certain is that you will always do your best, and always reach for the 'MORE.' More love, more family time, more helping family and friends, more vets and specialists, and more healthy sheep and lambs. We ALL want to be right and execute our duties perfectly, but we're human. Keep going, girl. You are doing great. Happy 2025, Brock Family!
I wish Facebook would do something about Sheep Short stealing your content again😞😤🤯
@@AngelIncredible I am wondering if it is an AI problem.
You work so hard. And you are so transparent. Just remember, you came off a very tough year with your daughter recovering from cancer. Then, you took on a huge build and business plan. So nice to see you're taking time for you and your family. Don't be so hard on you. Breathe , walk, read, enjoy the cabin, work, and cherish family. Your awesome
I believe if you added up all the wonderful things you accomplished this year, it would FAR outweigh any negatives. Keep up the good work, love when you can and rest and sleep when you can. I watch regularly and am always amazed by your energy, strength, resilience, ingenuity and compassion!
Can you please tell Jess what an absolute joy to watch she is? She has such a wonderful energy, so happy she's doing well!🥰
Jesse was so worried about her hair. I think she looks adorable in those cute curls!!!👍🏻
@mariek8578 absolutely agree!
I thought. Jess looked like her Dad, then saw a picture of your Mom. Twins!
After a long day, then grocery shopping, takeout is a good thing. Putting groceries away then cooking dinner makes the day longer.
Yep. Grocery day - even if we are getting delivery - is also takeout day. Y’gotta conserve those spoons!
Heck yeah. Too hard to cook after shopping. It is a treat especially when you have to go to town to do them. The guy is real however!! 😜
I am right there with you and the previous comments! Whether it's delivered or we shop it out at the store ourselves...it's WORK. I started doing PIZZA DAY or Take out on grocery day just to maintain my sanity. Otherwise my family is too cranky and H-angry to be civilized by the time we finish shopping, storing, and cooking dinner! You've seen the SNICKER'S BAR commercials, right? "You're not normal when you're hangry!" ❤
But will it be filled with cancer causing ingredients.....buyer beware.
We always do that.🤗
I’m a kinesiologist, in Quebec, and I know there are excellent ones all over Ontario. Our greatest superpower is to help people with your kind of fitness goals, especially to tailor our recommendations for you to have the strength and stamina for your lifestyle. We want you to have a healthy and long life, but also to flip rams for hoof trims with ease, pail water without strain, and chase weaning lambs onto the truck marathon-ready. 😊 Highly recommend kinesiology!
I'm a big time believer in that technique, it really helps!
Please tell more.......
I had a physiotherapist who used a kinesiologist to help his clients with doing the exercises properly but I have found that he is the exception rather than the rule. I find these days physiotherapy has changed to rely exclusively on machines to do their jobs rather than the hands on approach and exercise
@@conniepitts8392 Generally, we use physical activity to improve people's health and/or fitness. My specialty is working with older adults (65yrs +) to keep their independence and manage lots of chronic conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, permanent injuries, etc.) However, generally, we take a holistic approach to each individual. If we take Sandy, for example, we know she wants to walk, do pilates, start strength training. We also know that she has had back and sciatic nerve issues within the last year. So, we take everything she wants, everything that's an issue, plus everything she needs to do physically for her daily activities and together, we would create a flexible schedule for her to accomplish her goals. However, we would also teach her the right intensity, form, and type of physical activity that will lead her to her goals and improve her health issues. There's so many different types of pilates exercises, that we would select something that is suited for her and find the right teacher, online or in person, to set her off in the right direction.
@@angelaschlichtet3032 I'm happy to know that, however, kinesiologists can do so much more. I have physiotherapist friends (in Quebec, they are under public health) and they often tell their patients to go see a kinesiologist after they are done with physiotherapy because their job is to restore someone's ability, kinesiology improves it.
Oh Sandi! Again you have given me a very needed smile!! My momma passed away the day after Christmas and I haven’t been able to take my mind to another place!! So thank you!! You have done it again!! ❤️🩹
I'm so sorry for your loss 😢
I'm so sorry for your loss.
So sorry you lost your momma,I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. ❤
Sending angels to surround and comfort you.😇🤗
Losing your Mother is the hardest thing. Sending prayers and a giant hug.
All the haters aside..I love how REAL you are and you let us see it…at 6:15 when you’re working on the vision board the “stuff” piled in the background. Tells me you’re real. You’re busy and not everything is perfect in your world..just like me. After I spend three hours catching up with my chicken chores it occurs to me maybe I could have spent 3 hours tackling a pile of junk in my house. 🤔….nah. 🤣🤣
I'm right there with you. I have a basement just begging to be organized...Maybe I should start now🤔.......naw....maybe spring cleaning😵💫....( I need a place on a drive to stage everything and that's covered in 8 inches of snow - good excuse to procrastinate again) LOL.
SAME!! I'd so much rather clean a barn or coop than my own house LOL
@@brifleming9706 ❤️ barn sisters unite!!❤️
I realize this was meant in good spirits but please understand that commenting on appearances is inappropriate. If this comment was about me “being real” I would interpret it as a comment on how my space is cluttered. Having watched many Sandi videos I am almost certain that this will not be taken as a “compliment”. Please think before commenting on anyone’s appearance whether it is physical or home/office.
@@somethingwitty4891 I don't know why you see it as in any way negative. I love that Sandi is a REAL person. She always puts it all out there good and bad. I don't read this as anything personal about Sandi. It also goes to show just how everyone of us can really relate to Sandi...My basement included! :) We all love Sandi!😅
“Went from my best friend to hating my guts!” I felt that.
You make me smile so much Sandi, you’re real and encouraging and so very motivational.
Hope you have the best year ahead ❤
I am NOT a cryer, but I sobbed when you started taking down the Christmas tree in the barn and thanked Ruby for watching over you. Thank you for being you and letting us all be sheep farmers vicariously through you. I love ewe all!
I get that - and cried again as I read your comment!
Thanks - and I really mean that!❤
Just want you to know how much I love you. I am nobody to you but you are a huge part of me. I love your strength, loyalty, compassion, the way you just get at doing the very hard things, (like putting animals down), how you work out problems and it's good to know you swear😂 I always feel like I'm sitting down and talking to a best friend when I watch a new video. I admire you so much and wish you could be more confident in yourself. I like your vision board, 🤔 maybe I'll make one. I don't do new year resolutions as I fail miserably at them.😅 Thanks for your dedication of doing videos and for being so honest.
I feel exactly like you. Well said.
Very well said! I also feel like Sandi is a friend who I look forward to spending time with, even though she doesn’t know me amount all her followers.
So much of what you have written echos with me and a lot of us. I think we are kind of Sandi's people as we love her content and get angry with the naysayers.
The Brocks are all fantastic people. Love the channel.
💯 Couldn’t have put it better.
My NY resolution is the same as it's been for years. I resolve to act in a way that helps people be seen. Examples...complimenting others (both known and not known) on things I appreciate about them. "Cute shoes", " love your hair", "that was so kind", etc. Acknowledging fast service and every act of help/consideration someone does that I witness whether for me or not. Stepping up to help without being asked if I see someone struggling. Little things like getting something off the top shelf in the grocery store-I am tall, some people are not. 😀 It's a different spin on " see something say something". If I see kindness or need then I say or do something. It's the best antidepressant I've ever found.
I am doing the same thing! When a cashier is stressed out because they are busy, I give them a piece of old time bubble gum to brighten their day. Always keep a little baggie full in my purse. At Christmas I handed out Hershey kisses. Every person I gave one to their eyes lit up. Sharing a kind word, small treat or even a smile might just help that someone get through their day, lighten their heavy load a touch or even show someone they aren't invisible. Thank you for all you do to make this world a brighter place, even if it is just for a moment.💞
My resolution is to always try to be kind and pass it forward! Every good deed done for no expectation of reward COUNTS! ❤
Thank you for doing this! Also, on behalf of those of us on the short side, thanks for getting things off the top shelf for us! It is very hard for me to ask for help, but I am learning to ask. It is so much appreciated!
I do this too! Except I’m the short girl who looks out for the tall top shelf helper that I can profusely compliment for their talent, abilities and even good looks!!
You are not the only one shopping for food than eating out!Lol! Doing it today!❤
I go grocery shopping and totally forget to plan that day's meal. I am really trying to avoid takeout, so it may end up being a frozen pizza. Several months of summer we live on frozen meals, because I hate cooking in the heat.
Isn’t that normal? Grocery store then drive thru? I’m way older than you… live 90 minutes from the nearest fast food stores… twice a month mega grocery shopping is painful… a good greasy burger or deep fried chicken is a treat to look forward to for the whole family! ❤
Eat leftovers
Thaw a frozen home cooked meal n nuke when get home
Start crockpot up in morning
Love the new touke!!! Love the vision board. Glad ChatGBT actually produced something useful for you. ...that hasn't been my experience. I don't think it told you anything you didn't ready know yourself. You are so very self-aware, honest and upright in how you do things. Happy New Year! I think 2025 will be great for the Brock family!
The thing is, all ChatGPT went thru and took literally her own words from her transcripts. It didn’t tell her anything she didn’t know because it just fed her words back to her. (I don’t think Sandi understands how ChatGPT works.) This is why it didn’t tell her anything new - because it’s only reiterating content from her channel that she’s already put out/said.
Lol! Toque! I think! Or maybe tuque? Nope, not tuque! Lol!😂😂😂
EWEtube. Love your hat. Love your show❤️ I never miss it. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS🎉
The yarn idea is great and the colors you showed are beautiful. Such a good idea with the board and it opens you up to so many possibilities in the future. Way to go SANDY. ❤❤❤ You are not the only one who goes for take out after shopping, by the time you get it home you don’t want to cook.
You are creating a little cottage industry business with the yarns! Good for you!
I gonna have to learn to knit.
That variegated hunter green color would be BEAUTIFUL!!!👍🏻 I'm SO EXCITED!!!
Wow! I thought I was the only one in the whole wide world who had that problem! I have over 50years worth of stuff I need to go through.😂 I'm so proud of you that you're trying to take care of it at your young tender age. Hang in there! Sandy, we love you! Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. You're just really honest. And you actually share your honesty with us. There's a lot of closet messy people.🤣 I always get takeout after I've gone to the grocery store. I'm exhausted from shopping. And I want something quick and easy so I don't have to think😅
I thought i was the only one who ordered pizza after grocery shopping! lol
The Swedes call it "death cleaning" - going through your "stuff" (George Carlin's brilliant routine) so your inheritors don't have to 💕💕
@elainerempel1613 there are several minimalist UA-camrs out there
@@margaretpare8206 It's been on my "to-do" list for 5 years. I KNOW the answer is to just start & do it for 15 minutes...... 🙄💕💕
@@margaretpare8206 Swedish Death Cleaning isn’t about minimalism, it’s just about… knowing that your kids likely aren’t going to want their artwork from elementary school, so getting rid of it (after checking). It’s basically about not holding on to things with the intent for others to inherit, unless you’ve had that convo and they WANT to inherit.
Personally, I don't take my tree down until the snowy weather is done in March. I feel like it's in the house to bring extra light until the sun starts to come back ❤🎄
Since childhood, my family tradition puts the Christmas tree up over Thanksgiving, and it stays up through Epiphany. Last year, we added an interesting new wrinkle, and that was to keep the artificial, led-lit greenery over our fireplace, til spring was noticeably making the days longer. And warmer, too.
Hahahahaha...I keep my fiber optic tree up and my outdoor lights glowing until the blasted time changes back to normal! The nights are too long! Days are getting longer though! Yay!
It’s going to be SO nice to have Jess back on the farm. Maybe not so much to help out but for your peace of mind. I know that even though my children are all grown up now you still wonder if everything is going well for them. ❄️⛄️💚🙃
My son is in his 40s & during COVID he was with us for awhile cause he could work remotely I loved having him here missed him so much when he left
Chat GPT went through your channel and listened to what you talked about and said exactly what you have put into plan already. I love you and do not want you to think some AI is smarter than you. YOU ALREADY DID THIS except the deworming, I've never heard you say anything about it. Maybe your bullet point book is where it gets confused about the manual data.. you always go through your data with us after each lambing.
I always grocery shop a big hawl then get take out because I am exhausted after the shopping to stand and cook.
Yes! And despite having the best of intentions!
My crockpot is my best friend lol
I used to make lists…
Then I’d just laugh…😂😂😂
Thank you, Mrs Brock, for everything! 🥰
This channel is my _most favourite_ escape! Thank you Sandi, for sharing your days with all of us. The good, the bad & the silly. ❤❤❤
Sandi, have you _ever_ had a brown lamb stay brown?? I know that you said they always turn white in their wool areas. So, just curious if it has ever happened for you? 😂❤
Putting a plug in again for Sandi to mentor students either in vet technology or veterinary science, or both!. Not so much believing it'll reduce her workload - it won't, particularly in the beginning. I want Sandi's compassion to be part of her legacy. 💕💕
Sandi, I think you are very good at planning, you do alright with the sheep.
1. when to separate the rams from the ewes.
2. When to change what mix of feed to get them at what times.
3. When they need injections.
4. I am sure there are other things I haven't thought of.
5. Have a good 2025 don't overthink things you are doing great, love from Mike. ❤
Sandi I love your videos and how much you love your family and sheep. Using chat gtp was a huge waste of your time. You already knew everything it put out and are working on all the issues. You are an amazing mother and Farmer; i hope you start to believe that and loving yourself more.
I made a resolution back in 1994, no more resolutions! They don't work for a lot of people and they never worked for me. Except this one.
I totally agree that ChatBot was a waste of your time. You already are doing everything it told you, and nailing it very well!!
I agree that ChatGPT just gave back to her what Sandi already knows/does. Maybe it wasn't a waste of time if it convinces her she's handling things well? I wonder if ChatGPT examined the comments as well as the videos.
Agreed!
I have degenerative disk disease and workout 3 times a week with my friend. All I can say is start slow and don't push it. You'll learn your limit real quick. Also be sure you stretch thoroughly before working out so you don't injure yourself. Hope this helps. You're amazing and I love your family and lambies. Especially the black sheep with the white spots under the eyes.
😢i have bad sciatica and haven't been able to work at all 😢
I too have DDD plus added arthritis through out my body & joints. I feel worse if I am sedentary so working out is a must! Crazy that being active all my life causes DDD but it’s life so you just keep going! Happy New Year
Sandi, your 2024 was a smashing success….don’t sell yourself short! Your plans for 2025 are fantastic, your vision board is very inspirational, and no, you aren’t the only one that gets takeout after grocery shopping! Jess’s apartment floor is looking great! Mark’s knees and back will be glad when it is finished! Your EweTube hat is so clever! The best to each of you in the brand new year!! Hope those little ones make it. 🙏. Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻
Happy New Years to the Brock Family! 🎉♥️🙏🏼♥️🎉 This year I am taking care of something I’ve put off for far too long. The end of February, I will have my right shoulder replaced. I just can’t take the pain anymore.
That’s crazy! I just back into my wool dying and spinning today! My hands are all the colors. I wish I could show you all the fun dying things I’ve learned in the last 10 years. It’s so much fun. Do it! Have fun and find safe dyes to use. Even dying with plants is fun. Take care. 🧶
So very interesting.....you may think about having a beginners class for some of us on a UA-cam page.
I think last year you just wanted Jess to be healthy. That would have taken all my energy. Don’t be too hard on yourself ♥️
I'm not usually a resolution setting kind of person. However this year I want to take up sewing again. I use to sew 90% of my clothes. Then life got in the way, so I want to take it up again. I enjoy the creativity of it. Also, I think I will take up knitting this year too. I want to enjoy life again, not just work, work, and work some more. For 2024, I enjoyed watching the new building being built, and every time you fed lambs on camera. Thanks Sandi for taking us along on your farming journey!
My plans for this year are to continue working on my secret garden, start crafting, hopefully earn some extra money, Social Security isn’t the answer for any extras in life, MAYBE reading more, my eyes AREN’T what they use to be, taking better care of my house plants MAKING SURE THAT I DON’T miss ANY OF SANDI’S VIDEOS , I never do and going through ALL of the stuff we’ve collected over the years and get rid of it ! I know this has nothing to do with sheep farming or Sandi’s channel topic BUT the way I figure it is the more comments the better to keep the channel growing and help Sandi in anyway I can especially with the algorithm ❤️❄️⛄️💚🙃
I feel you! I have reinvented myself several times since becoming disabled but am having to come up with something new again as my hands pack up on me. I wonder if chat gpt would help me write a book?? Will have to look into it.
For reading, get an e-reader, like Kindle. You can adjust the font as to what font as well as the size of the font. Even with my readers, I have a hard time with the font in books so I can make it larger on my Kindle. You can get a refurbished on for the cost of a couple of books. E-books are also much cheaper and take up much less room than physical books. I have 4000+ e-books in my Kindle library.
@@Ashforddrvr Just read an article by a prof who's given up his job because so many students rely on AI to write their papers. Just a caution that AI may take your unique voice out of the writing 💕💕
@@maryb8150I've also now depend pretty much on my kindle for reading. One of the things you can do on a Kindle and not on a book is change the page. So the background is black and the print is white. Makes it so much easier❤
Audiobooks are a great alternative to sit down reading for people who are too busy or can't read easily due to vision limitations or other reasns.
Sandi has mentioned in older videos that she listens to audiobooks.
Note to Sandi..... you shop for the food, haul it to the car, haul it into the house, then put the food away. No one wants to start cooking it too! Lol. I usually get take out too after grocery shopping.
Thank you for another year. I can never say this enough... you are such an inspiration to women everywhere!! You are the kindest, most genuine lady and it's a breath of fresh air these days. All the best in 2025, cannot wait to follow you on the journey!
Watching from South Africa, can't wait to watch, each time you drop a new video . Thanks for what you do , brings a smile and allows me to get outside my head for a bit. You make me want to be a sheep farmer 😁
Happy New Year! You don't often have tasks in the barn that need a table but putting the ornaments in the bin would be so much easier on your back if you did have a table to elevate the bin.( Had discectomy for herniated disc & have arthritic back) I hope you find a "courtney" to provide therapy & advice (exercises) to keep your back strong! 💕💕
Also a chiropractor who has a roller bed to relax on before adjustment is a WONDER to EXPERIENCE!💕💕💕
Happy New Year! My Mom keeps her tree up all year now so she doesn't have to tear it down, shake out the mice and shape it again.
This weekend she and the kids are decorating for Valentines. ^^
Then you have Easter/spring, in the US you have 4th of July, then Halloween and Thanksgiving.
Great idea
I’ve watched your videos for years and have watched your business grow and improve over the years. I love that you respect what you own and take care of it, you run a tidy farm.❤ I celebrate your success and mourn your loss. I’m excited for your new challenges and adventures. I have total faith that you can do anything you set your mind to. 💪🏼
I am just keeping up with my weight loss. My cardiologist put me on Ozempic, and I have lost over 50 pounds, I still have more. But I'm working on it!! I'm not one for 'resolutions' because I can't keep them for even a week!! I loved your vision board ideas!!
Congratulations! I love your 'tag'! I too am a literary snob. Can't believe I only discovered Patrick O'Brian's maritime novels this winter! 💕💕
Congratulations on the weight loss! I have a new health insurance this year, and they have approved my prescription for the weight loss shots. I'm looking forward to being able to take this weight off so I can be healthier. That's my goal, but not my resolution.
What will u do when u can’t have shots anymore?
Everyone just packs the wgt back on 🤷🏼♀️
I'm so proud of you. That Gpt thing was a VALIDATION of you & your farming. There were no SURPRISES and every point of criticism was about something you're ALREADY ADDRESSING in some form or fashion. You rock, girl.
with your vision board, create a pie chart and add percentages to address each of the categories that you have identified as important. I have a quote that might help: A DREAM written down with a date becomes a GOAL A goal broken down into steps becomes a PLAN. A plan backed by ACTION makes your dreams REALITY. Happy New Year to the entire Brock family. May 2025 be enriched with promise and blessings.
Thank You for that insight!🎉
May I borrow this? I think this quote is something we can all grow through.❤
Sandi, your contribution to my mental challenges is just being on U-tube for me. I've been watching since the US covid shutdown in 2020. You kept me sane. My husband was going through lung cancer treatment when Jess was fighting cancer. Again you showed me that I wasn’t the only one supporting the fight. I lost my husband in September 2024 and you were my distraction when I felt most vulnerable. Now as we move into 2025 don't change things too much, just keep being here for me. And don't let negative comments affect you. You do YOU and let them live in the negative life. I love your videos.
I literally just took down all our Christmas stuff... It was a rough Christmas for us ready to move on. Pretty happy to see you had a new video it made me smile. 😊
After failing every resolution, I switched to a daily goal of 400 laughs a day. This keeps me laughing through work, farm, running my business, podcasting, etc. It makes everything SO MUCH BETTER!!
Happy New Year Brock family! Sandy, please don't feel bad. You are not the only one who gets take out after grocery shopping. Grocery shopping is exhausting and by the time I am finished, the only thing I want to do is relax and have a great meal.
I buy something pre-made from the grocery store deli before I go to pay at the register after a long grocery shopping trip.
Hey, Sandi. Have you ever considered tracking how easy the birth is and direction of lamb? Then you could possibly cull that trait from the group along with their tendency to have more than two lambs. It's just a thought and it wouldn't mean that much more paperwork. Just throw some paint cans in the delivery box and come up with a couple of signs beyond just no milk or unalive baby/foster. I'd love to crunch the numbers and see if there's any pattern. You could also feed the info into chatGPT and see what it suggests just for kicks and giggles. 😁 No, the more data you can gather on every breed/breed cross, the better choices you can make for who stays and who goes.
Sandi, I wish you and your family the happiest of New Years! May all your missions come to fruition.
Your new addition looks amazing, and I can't wait to see how you get everything in order.
I don't know how to say this gently... but please, please, get a safety net across that garage door. Someone we know had one of these, and tragicly, he overextended one day and is no longer with us 😢. I have seen several pictures of this door from different angles and finally taking up the courage to mention it. Today, as I saw you throwing things down, my stomach just dropped. Sorry, but I had to say it....
I second that motion!
Hi Sandi, I have a suggestion. I think you should start with all the amazing things you have ACCOMPLISHED in 2024. You totally don't give yourself credit. Also, giving oneself space to REST is a good thing! I like sitting and KNITTING, myself!
We get glimpse of your house and kitchen. I love your kitchen. It looks minimalist. Have you ever or would you ever do a video tour of even parts of your house and talk about your style and design for all your remodels? From the outside it looks like an older farmhouse but inside it looks so modern.
I think you were validated!
Issues, but also, things you were already aware of and addressing.
I see continued success and more satisfaction ahead!
Congratulations on your 2024, and what an exciting 2025 season approaching!

Y’all are the hardest working people I know!! But you make it look fun. I always enjoy your videos, your ideas (ooh, I want a blanket) and watching everything that’s up in your world. You’re a great start to 2025 for me!
Once I get my health issues sorted on the 10th....we'll see the direction I can go...Love your channel never stop being YOU! And as Tara said the ones not being kind "Let the door close behind them"!
Hi Sandy! You are so amazing, and real! I love that you are authentic and share so much of yourself online. Have an incredible New Year! God bless your whole family! 😊
You DID so much last year! If you sat down and remembered you’d be SHOCKED!
I LOVE cooking Thai food (amongst other dishes from around the world)
The apartment is coming along beautifully!
I don’t do “resolutions” BUT I do set goals that are in my control and obtainable. I never set outlandish, unobtainable goals but reasonable goals and once met~new goals.
Excellent video and I AM PROUD of you Sandi!
Here’s to an amazing, productive, successful, healthy enriched 2025!

Thank you Sandi for all of your hard work especially Vlogmas ! According to the whatever that is chat bot you’re doing a very GOOD job because it seems like you’ve basically checked all of those boxes and are aware of what you need to do. SO A BIG JOB WELL DONE FOR YOU ! ❄️⛄️💚🙃
I bought a new (monthly/weekly) planner and started filling it out. Then I decided I didn't like it and ordered another one from Amazon! I keep my medical appointments on the calendar on my phone but I still like keeping a paper planner that shows both the month and the week. This allows me to keep all of my "notes" regarding projects and appointments in one place in my planner.
I love your vision board! I have heard other people selecting three key words for each year to focus on.
These are all better than making New Years Resolutions IMO.
Taking down my decorations is depressing for me, too. I love your videos! My mini goldendoodle sits and watches too when she hears the lambs. Lol Happy New Year
EDIT: When I go grocery shopping, I often buy takeout on the way home, too. Lol
I feel like you have accomplished a lot in 2024. You keep striving to improve. I am not really a resolution maker but I do have things I want to do. Thanks to Jess and you, I am reading far more than I used to and I want to continue that. I want to get more organized in my house. I just want to take time to enjoy life.
I gave up on NY resolutions a long time ago! I am not normally a goal setter, though I did set what I thought were attainable goals for 2024. However, those goals did not take into consideration my tractor being in the repair shop, twice, for a total of 5 months. Needless to say, my new "goals" for 2025 are to complete the goals I had for 2024. 😕
I have much the same trouble I’ve moved my goals to things like, enjoy my time at the gym. And eat as many healthy meals as possible. I find the lack of hard pressure helps me
I am not a New Year resolution person either, but, that visit board idea rang a bell with me. I think having an actual visual board someplace where I would see it everyday would help me manifest those ideas into my life. Sitting down and actually making a list is a great start.
What an amazing video, Sandi! I have recently retired and need to create a plan to maximize this new phase of my life. Thanks for the motivation! I’m also impressed with your computer skills. Way to go, Sandi! 💖
Best thing to learn in retirement is it’s okay to not do things if you don’t want to. I always say that the word no is a complete sentence, and you don’t have to explain yourself. You could also explain that you don’t do things unless they make you happy. I hope you have a long and healthy retirement.
@ Thank you for the kind advice. I have definitely let myself slow down; I worked very hard for 42 years. This year I am literally rebuilding by renovating my small home. Next year I will begin looking beyond myself more. Much appreciation for your affirmation. e
Nine minutes in and the best part so far is how much Sandi is smiling, talking about the things she loves and her hopes and dreams. So Pretty, Lady! :) I love this idea, and I'm proud of you for putting it together for yourself.
See! The Brocks don't need to use the stairs!! I didn't know about the garage door! Cool! 💕💕
Sandi, you touch my heart every week when i watch your videos. I’ve been inspired, moved to tears, laughed, groaned lol, been humbled, had a sympathetic and compassionate heart, and been motivated by you in my life. In fact i started following Jess Who is a delightful young lady. I am 55, married to my husband John 67 with 35 & 30 yr old daughters and a 26 yr old son. Aside from the fact that i have grandchildren 14, 12, 10, & 7, we seem to be in the same season of life. Bless you, you sneezed while creating your vision board.
I also get take out after grocery shopping. Shopping is taxing and the last thing i want to do is cook. Bye… (Michigan girl)
Great video Sandi! Love it and love seeing the progress in the new shop/apartment
Sad to see the tree go for sure too
It was also a good reminder for your chat gpt and vision board section….. the burnout. I am 100 percent guilty of playing the mind games on myself and hitting a almost depression because I’m burnt out and not accomplishing what I need to do, and currently I am completely run down and sicker than a dog
Yes my sheep are taken care of (above and beyond especially now at lambing but all the time as well) but I’m burnt out
I am trying to use UA-cam to help with my mental health and it is helping for sure, but as yourself I need to prioritize some personal time. I have horses and it just came to my mind that I didn’t ride very much at all in 2024. This will be changing in 2025. I need to get out of my slump.
Thank you again for some positive words of encouragement. Keep being you, and can’t wait to see the growth and also the relax in you, the farm and your family this year.
Now to get back to editing my video to hopefully put it out today haha
Oh my goodness! You have inspired me once again!! Never thought to create a vision board but it’s a great idea! You have a lot going on. I’m retired but am still busy with grandkids, sewing, and knitting. I had decided to skip making any resolutions this year that I wouldn’t keep!! But the vision board is entirely different. Kudos to you for organizing your life so well. Best wishes as you navigate through the year. 2025 will be a good year!! God bless you, Sandi.
Learning to dye and spin wool is on my list this year. I really want to buy some Blue-faced Leicesters, but I wouldn’t mind some of your raw wool (hint, hint)😂😂
Good plan on your back! Strengthening your core will help! I know this because I have to do same😂
I'm very happy that CHAT GPT identified problems you are already working on. You were not blindsided by anything it identified. So you are being great at continuing to identify your issues and look for solutions. Congratulations. I am so thankful for your UA-cam channel. I look forward to each and every episode.
So funny...
I order groceries online (because 80yo and health safety), then pickup favorite Japanese food on the way home. So nice to have a meal ready after unloding groceries and putting away same. Depending on time of day, I may even start a crock pot for later.
Since January is my birthday month, I decided to enjoy holiday decorations into the new year. Very much enjoyed all the information shared .... "Made time and space to review data" .... Wouldn't life be better if we could see problems brewing before they actually manifested.
Remember, if you want to put more onto your plate, take something off. Looking forward to 2025 with your inspiring vlogs. Thank you for 2024.
Sandi I have been watching your channel for about 8 months and I am amazed at how hard you work all the time. I am a retired professional and when I retired I couldn’t believe how organized I was and put stress on myself for no reason. You are a very special person and never forget that. Your family, your best friends and your business should be what is important to you. Don’t worry or think about the negative comments you get. Personally I feel they are jealous and remember there will always be haters and who cares. Take care of yourself because health is the most important as you realized this year. Don’t change you are great the way you are.
Hi Sandi, my hands are busy as ever! Ewe know what I mean.! 😉🧶
New year again means new starts…
Love ewe, sending huggings 🤍🖤🤍
One holiday booked (hubby has a physical job, he deserves down time) going to our favourite place here in UK, Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorkshire in June…
Oh, is that near the "Jurassic Coast" where the beach/cliff bases are full of fossils? I would luv to go fossil hunting in Yorkshire.
@@CricketsBay Jurassic coast is on the south coast of UK…
You are definitely not the only one with the groceries and eating out thing. My boyfriend and I, we have been living together for almost 2 years now. We get groceries every 2 weeks on a 170$ budget. and every time we decide to go out to eat beforehand so we are not hungry when we grocery shop. this helps us to not go over budget, since we live in an apartment. We are from the US (southern Minnesota more specifically) by the way. I have been loving following your channel and seeing all of the goings on on the farm. Can't wait to see what 2025 has to offer!
I started last year on my birthday but this year I turn 40 and I make a 40 before 40 list. All small achievable goals but meant to take my 30’s out with a bang. Things like swim in the ocean, take myself on a date, finish my office, etc… so I could feel accomplished entering my 40’s.
I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions but goals are great any time of year
From 1986 until this year, I kept my one New Year's resolution: "No more New Year's resolutions."
I really enjoy your UA-cam videos. Thanks for providing them. Here's hoping you and yours have a blessed 2025 and beyond!
Love the EweTube hat !
Sandi. I think you are a very extraordinary woman. The issues and solution recommendations by CHAT GPT are exactly what you have been working towards all 2024. I am excited to see what 2025 has in store for your family, and I wish you a very blessed year!!!!!
A New Sandi video has made my day!❤❤
I absolutely love the Chat GPT being constructive criticism with suggested answers. It is not to tear you down or be cruel but to build you up and help you. Amazing. My goal this year is to continue to control my blood sugar issues. I have been an extremely insulin resistant diabetic for 20 years and suffered a heart attack this last May. My goal is to meet my health challenges keeping my heart healthy. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. I love watching your vlogs and your family. You make my heart happy. Blessings from Texas! Happy New Year.🌹💗
Wow Sandi! Your vision board process is so cool!❤❤❤
I have outgrown New Year’s resolutions that I always seem to fail at. So this year I want to learn new music, going to see Flatland
Calvary . Totally new to me. Love your channel and how independent you are. Good luck with the vision board and take care of yourself!
Have you heard of Charlie Angus? He has a UA-cam channel under his own name where he shares some of his music, plus a channel for his band, Grievous Angels. He's also a Canadian MP from Northern Ontario.
You amazed me. Just amaze me!! Thank you for everything you share with us. Inspiring woman!!
Sandi, your days are packed with dedication, commitment and hard work from silly oclock in the morning when most of us would be turning over for another 3 hours sleep. When you've finished your chores and probably helped Mark too you spend more dedicated time editing videos for us when i would have thought you would need to just put your feet up. The next day you get up and do it all again. I just want to say you are amazing. This year, please take time for yourself!!! .. to rest, recouperate and recharge.
Some people very few in number may leave a nasty or uncalled for comment. These people look in the mirror and do not like what they see. Pay them no attention because they have done nothing to be deserving of it. Have a wonderful year ahead. Love and Joy for 2025.
Take out after shopping is the way to go.
Hey Sandi! I really enjoy watching your channel. Your love for the lambs and your hard work is inspiring. Have an amazing 2024.❤
My tree stays up until I get tired of looking at it. I can see why you need to take the barn tree down though AND I’m probably the only one to leave my tree up well past Christmas. It’s just something pretty to look at in this drab time of year. Besides I JUST put the tree up a week before Christmas because I had to rearrange the living room in order to have room for it 🤭❄️⛄️💚🙃
I have had the tree up until Valentine’s Day at least once. Usually it’s mid-January.
My tree is up until we do xmas, probably will. Take it down shortly after,Hubby has a small one he leaves all year long,in the sun porch
Porch
Our record is mid summer
@@jeansmith-wl7xt One of my three stays up all year, the big one down around Epiphany, the little ceramic one when the days get longer, or when I need/want to sew and need the Singer.
I love seeing the tree go up and be lit up when you and carrissa are working … I’m working toward a visual of where I want to be this year… for now I’m waiting on referrals to two different spine centers … one in Boston where I have all my adult children strategically placed or Mayo here in Phoenix which is top drawer … but I’m sort of on my own but have friends who will gladly support me , no baggage … meanwhile I’m in limbo, emptying my apartment and going back east to wait for the universe to get its stuff together ! More news as it breaks …
I'm not a resolution maker for sure but watching you set up your year for success was inspiring. It's cool to see that chat gpt pretty much said what you already know and you are taking steps already to improve in all those areas. Speaking to your data collection point, there can definitely be value in scheduling observing trends to be more proactive. I look forward to seeing what 2025 brings for the Brock family. Healing vibes to Mark from his fall 🐏🌿🐑✨️
Sandi, you rock!!! I think it is great that you let us see your plans and your goals for 2025. Love your lambs, getting to know you and your family, and seeing your farm. You are a great role model. You are such a real person who has made a wonderful life doing what you love. That is what we all need to do. :) Pooh on those who post negative :( comments! They are just jealous. Glad you don't let that get to you. Keep up your busy life and posting to UA-cam. Stay warm up there in Canada!
Happy new year Sandi and family. Loving the EweTube toque (or bobble hat according to Karol)
Happy New Year Brock family! As an older adult who has experienced burnout, ‘never good enough’ syndrome and organization issues, I am realizing how many symptoms of ADHD I am seeing in myself. 😉 I don’t make resolutions but intentions and the vision board is a good reminder! We are heading to El Salvador for 3 mths. so we’ll be soaking up the warm sun and when I get back I need to reorganize my art/craft room! Thank you for all the hard work you do, making videos and vlogs that make my day!💕🇨🇦
Best wishes for a wonderful 2025. Try chair yoga ...seems to work !!
That would be something she could do while editing or forms online ! That’s be so cool for her
Sandi, your vision board is awesome and beautiful! Chat GBT is pretty interesting. Some people use it pretty extensively with great results and they love it. There's also some cautions about how information can be skewed with it. 2025 for me, continue home renovations, raised garden beds in the front yard (gets the most sun), preparations for backyard orchard, working out at the gym several times per week, continue regaining functions lost due to car crash, learning about and using more dietary alternatives due to systemic changes from said crash (anti inflammatory diet).
I absolutely LOVE that flooring that Mark is laying down. Is that Hickory coloring? I must know what it is...I SOOOO want it for my new house I'll be building in 3 years. LOVELOVE LOVE that color! Also I'm surprised that CHATGPT did a good job of summarizing your channel. But it's also clear that you already knew all the things that it came up with. So not a surprise which is good, but also it's a lot. Remember you eat an elephant one bite at a time, so focus on one item at a time and have Carissa and Courteney help you out a little more to keep on track. Tell them to remind you to take a little time for yourself, that's a good task to delegate to them. 😉
I think AI just went through all her Videos and summarized all the problems Sandi ever had and all the solutions she was applying.
@@RenataAngelaGiust Yes it seems that way. I find most AI is only good at making general summaries of data it's presented with. I've tried to use it for real engineering calculations and it fails miserably at that.
This year is going to be a very great year for you. You got this. Love the idea of a vision board. I have started one to inspire me and motivation ❤ and I been doing a planner for my work schedule and appointments.
Your videos I love to watch and always excited when a new one is posted up. It brings a smile to my face and makes my day.
Shopping day is usually a take out/ eat out day for us too, definitely NOT alone in that.
Absolutely loved this video! As someone who is exactly your age I feel the need for changes this yr (I mean we will have been on this earth a HALF of century 🥴). You showing your vision board has lit the fire under me to get moving on my goals as well.
I love that we both have puzzles, books, traveling, and more walks in our future! Just keep being you because you are the best of the best!❤
Hi Sandi, Excellent way to use ChatGPT as a "performance review" framework to ensure it reflects the same topics you focused on. Perhaps run the conclusions by Carissa (spelling?) to get her feedback on topics & ranking. Regarding your hesitancy on Data Analysis activities...perhaps reach out to Gallagher to collaborate on ways to 1) maximize system use knowledge, 2) automate data analysis elements, and 3) ask if they could integrate a voice recording element to make lamb recording more "hands free" and reduced typing (i.e. weight, temperature/feeding interventions, foster status, bottle pen status, immunizations/antibiotic treatment, illness/injury records). Since Gallagher is a critical partner for your flock management, I would expect that they would be eager to collaborate with you on developing automated data analysis. Best wishes to you and your family for a happy and successful 2025!!
The Flockwatch lads seemed to be really enthusiastic about programming their software to meet Sandi's personal needs. Cammy of the Sheep Game uses FlockWatch. I do "get" that the older the dog the more resistant to learning 'new' tricks. Why I'm resisting e-books. Library's purchasing is going to force me to it! 💕💕
Sandi, you are an inspiration to us! How you manage to get everything done in the time frames thatyou do, are just amazing!!
I use to make New Years Resolutions, but I don't any more. I just push towards my usual garden expansions, becoming more self sustained, working up the yarn I have on hand already and fabric scraps that need to be worked up.
1 goal I do have is, I absolutely must clean out and reorganize my master bedroom closet ~ this is where I hoard my yarn and fabric 😊
