Awww, Ned was such an innocent, kind soul. Was great to see him and the rest of the family end up with Jonas Junior. Real sad to see JJ go out like he did, but he died taking care of his family and humanity, which is all he ever wanted.

Ned definitely is an example if the show starting in a different era, but aside from infantilizing him maybe a bit too much they did what they could to show him as an active ally and not just a self-destructive obstacle for Team Venture to deal with.

Was the full frontal nudity of Ned really necessary?? I've never been able to find Ned funny. Every scene with him makes me sad. By the way, he Was intelligent enough to recognize that Kodi was burning and that he needed to be put back into his special chamber.... They need to find a way to make him super-intelligent, far above mere mortals. That would be very funny. They could call it "Flowers for Ned".
The transformation might be affecting his brain. He may have limited capacity, but he understands emotions clearly. He knows his bro needs to stay in the bed, and which button keeps him safe. His part of the robot is deeply childish to keep him soothed, and he was given the choice about it's contents, bexuase he can express himself clearly. Why does Ned agree to a clown play pen with squishy controls? Because he's been through enough and just craves a safe environment.
