Just wanted to add to 19:10, he fc'd remote control right after cookiezi's score on that same map, like 2 hours after. The hype was big, as cookiezi's score was the second ever 800pp score, which beat freedom dive, which makes vaxei the second ever player to get a 800pp score.

To be fair, that was 6 years ago
well osu is:
(1) a free game
(2) has pretty much every song imaginable, not just electric song whatever. this means that more people can find their songs they like, which means that
(3) is super open to children, because of how easy and well-known it comparatively is, and because it has so many songs that children would like (unlike other games, which may have more anime/rock/etc genres children aren't interested in)
so it makes sense that it would have more children.
but if you look in the right places you can still find cool people, just like any other community.
i mean if anything it has definitely gotten worse. 99% of the people are trolls nowdays lol
sad that for surely most games now *deff fortnite* and COD no doubt
all should focus on fun to the true sense of community to being all for a few sets of sum games to drop the fucking ego.
Thats every game with a competitive scene unfortunately. On R6 a guy named Shaiiko got banned after a tournament where the, at the time, best player in the world called him out after the match. Of course it after some time was proven to be wrong. Imagine, being so good that pros/ best players in the WORLD call you a cheater. Feelsgoodman.

I have played 6 hours almost every day for 2 years now. I am proof that even if you put in the time genetics is a huge thing, even bigger than effort tbh. Theres people who have played a month who are better than me.
@@egglion7931 well it also depends on what maps you play. if you just play the same difficulty maps (or you don't challenge yourself) then you obviously won't progress as fast as others.

It's haunting how scary bacon boy is in tournaments. You can see several players literally giving up and not giving a shit when they're getting obliterated 6-0 by bacon boy. He also defeated both Ritzeh and idke, the first teammates of him, in the later tournaments.

I started playing osu during the “summer of vaxei” and I remember not knowing much about the game at first but still being impressed by vaxei and the shit he was doing. Absolute legend that will be remembered for ages.

The moment for me when it was truly apparent that not only was he the best at the time but had been garnering on uncharted territory entirely was a not even fc play on a unranked flower dance map.
Cookiezi who everone knows has a fanbase in this game and was considered the best player for a solid 8 years and legacy wise is considered the all time goat. His absolute peak playing wise ( unranked stuff included )was summer 2017 and it wasn't untill that flower dance play ( which cookiezi not even passing but hitting a insane section of is still considered his peak ) that i realized vaxie had truely surpassed everyone else in this game.

@@DjokiTheKing It's hard to say, but I'd put Vaxei above Whitecat for the simple reason that Vaxei can do virtually all of Whitecat's best plays but Whitecat cannot do all of Vaxei's best plays.

Back in 2016 I was in a lobby of 6 digit players when suddenly Vaxei came on. He was already regarded as a top player back then but he wasn't exactly regarded as one of the greatest; they just know he's right up there in the 2 digits bracket. He's really kind, interacting with the most of us and just playing for fun even though we were only playing 4 star maps.

Okay, when I clicked on the video and saw its lenght I thought there's no way I'm watching all of this. But what happened was that I got hooked and noticed for how long I've been watching at around the 35th minutes. Really well made and thought video, that retains the viewer's attention pretty well. Watched the whole almost 52 minutes long video without skipping forward once. I can only say that you've made a fantastic video, keep it up! Before this video I had never once heard about Vaxei, but now I can easily say that I think he is a real legend.
The final match of gameosu tourney was insane. Both players, Vaxei and Bubbleman, played out of their minds.

Great video man. I've been a fan of Vaxei ever since he started breaking into the limelight in mid-2016. Having such a huge drive for improvement at something while being that young is pretty admirable.
My dream is to become as good as Vaxei or better! He is such an inspiration I literally stan Vaxei

I've got almost 5k pp, playing more or less frequently since 2014 and no way I would pass dt 7,5* map even now. No mod 7,5* ? I did, but ar10,3 ? No way. Vaxei did it after half a year of playing. After 3 minutes of this video I felt ,that I really suck in this game
