- osu's mapping styles have changed greatly over the years, which naturally means different maps take the stage as being in the mainstream. The map in question on the other hand, stood the test of time, and has remained competitive from its very inception in the early 2010's all the way into today.

Absolutely amazing video with intense amounts of research put in. A bit sad that you didn't mention the first mouse FC by Doomsday, and the first EZ FC from -gn, though.
I keep a fairly strict focus with my score progressions, so I don't mention certain scores that aren't exactly pertinent to the topic haha.

Every time I see that rrtyui SS on stream, it just fill me with nostalgia lol. The little hand shakes, the super chilled out "ohhh... oh." I remember seeing that footage the day after and just losing my shit, and I didn't even achieve anything!

I love that "Tell me why speedcore is so awesome" gud track ngl
at 1:11, although it is 360 BPM, it is quite misleading because the map uses 1/2 notes instead of 1/4 notes.
this is why i dislike using bpm to measure speed. just nps is better

It was mapped using 720.6BPM as it was the BPM described by the artist to compose the song. Had to change it because 1. it would make the main menu logo pulsate very fast and lag older PCs and 2. the taiko diff had to use the same BPM and having 720bpm + 1.4sv (i think it was obligatory back then on taiko) would make the map barely playable so after some drama it had to be "nerfed" to 360 for both diffs

There’s an underchart of this song that sets the BPM at 180. And, honestly, as a scrub it’s something I much prefer.
A hdfl or hrfl fc would be really interesting to see, and probably the only possible way to beat bubbleman's score without better accuracy

this map is the reason I started playing osu! in the first place, saw cookiezes video and I had to play the game myself because it looked fun, too bad I didn't get far with the game but I did get into osu!mania wich I am more experienced with, I don't think I would've played this game if it weren't for that video

Basically my intro to rhythm games. Such a cool map.
Imagine getting a 100.00% on this chart with the Hard Rock, Double Time, Flashlight, and Hidden. What a combination of modifications that will make this nearly impossible without tons upon tons upon tons of practice! If someone completes that legitimately WITH VIDEO PROOF, that person will be considered extremely skilled. The video footage should not be edited, and you should clearly see the screen with little confusion on what the screen is displaying. Do I expect this challenge to be completed? No, not in the near future. However, this is something I think might be an interesting challenge. Is this taking skill too far? Maybe, who knows? Only one way to find out!

As someone who hasn't paid much attention to osu in the last few years, I am shocked Shigetora(cookiezi) never took his crown back on this map like did with freedom dive after getting unbanned
he hated the map, and when ppl tried to make him play it in a lobby, he’d simply leave the lobby until big black was finished lmao. this considered, he most definitely would’ve hdhr’it with ease if he wanted to
@@mazi1597 He didn't hate the map, just the songs I mapped. We got along pretty well and he'd always testplay stuff from me as long as he didn't hate the song
