AWESOME!
Great job. So wildly different and more complicated than the basslines that he was writing just a year or two prior. Love those flatwounds.
Comparing with Love Me Do, well. Thank you for your comment!
Seeing a McCartney Bass part played the right way round is refreshing.
I'm a Lefty too but I'm having to learn right handed now as I injured the little finger on my Right hand.
Hi Norby, great cover my friend! The Rick sounds great. Terrific performance as always. BIG THUMBS UP👍👍 #85 Have a great week! All the very best..... John🎸✌
Hi John, thank you!
why is no one asking why this bass is strung upside-down??
This question I have answered a lot of times over the years. as a lefthanded child I learned to play on my brother's righthanded guitar. I took it, by natural upside down, thx for your comment.
Actually I was wondering the same thing. I've never seen anything like that before.
Because the answer is written in the video description...
@@NorbyHofner Yep same thing for me but only it was a friend's guitar and he wasn't about to let me change the strings around... My parents gave me a right handed guitar for Christmas so I just flipped it upside down and played it that way - I didn't get a left handed guitar until 5 years later, by that time it was too late to change the way I played so I took it to a tech and he changed the nut & bridge around and strung it right handed.😄
Thank you again. This is very helpful.
❤Getting better indeed Norby. And perhaps someday we’ll be greeted with a ‘Good morning, Good morning.”😊
Thank you Tony! That is a good next track to do!
@@NorbyHofner 👍🏻I’ve always enjoyed the bass line to Good Morning Good Morning. Such an integral part of the song.
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful day also what is your favorite year from the 2010s ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
yeah
Is this on the neck pick up ? Also what strings do you have on there? The tone is so spot on !!
As the title says: flatwound strings brand Thomastik.
In this track I only use the neck pickup. Thx for watching
You always play great!
I am interested in flatwound string.
I hear Thomastik has softer feel.
How does it feel compared to roundwound?
Thomastik is softer and warmer indeed! Flats are really different compared to rounds
Dude I play left handed upside down just like you...😀Nice job on Getting Better...I use the same strings. I also had a left hand black 1973 Les Paul strung right handed. Are you my double...🙃.
Yes I am! Thx for your comment!
Great job as usual. Do you have flats on the Rick?
As I mentioned in the title: yes! Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Which brand and scale ?

Thank you again. Do you know the gauges?
@@Johnny-O Long scale
Steel core, flat wound

What type of pick do you use with flatwounds?
On this one I'm using a Fender Heavy pick, thanks for watching!
I Want To Tell You ??
A very good one indeed. Thanks!
