    Great job. So wildly different and more complicated than the basslines that he was writing just a year or two prior. Love those flatwounds.

    Seeing a McCartney Bass part played the right way round is refreshing.
    I'm a Lefty too but I'm having to learn right handed now as I injured the little finger on my Right hand.

    why is no one asking why this bass is strung upside-down??

      This question I have answered a lot of times over the years. as a lefthanded child I learned to play on my brother's righthanded guitar. I took it, by natural upside down, thx for your comment.

      Actually I was wondering the same thing. I've never seen anything like that before.

      @@NorbyHofner Yep same thing for me but only it was a friend's guitar and he wasn't about to let me change the strings around... My parents gave me a right handed guitar for Christmas so I just flipped it upside down and played it that way - I didn't get a left handed guitar until 5 years later, by that time it was too late to change the way I played so I took it to a tech and he changed the nut & bridge around and strung it right handed.😄

    You always play great!
    I am interested in flatwound string.
    I hear Thomastik has softer feel.
    How does it feel compared to roundwound?

    • @NorbyHofner
      @NorbyHofner  3 місяці тому +1

      Thomastik is softer and warmer indeed! Flats are really different compared to rounds

    Dude I play left handed upside down just like you...😀Nice job on Getting Better...I use the same strings. I also had a left hand black 1973 Les Paul strung right handed. Are you my double...🙃.
