im actually setting up a very similar boat for camping hopefully on the hawksbury river its good to see someone else has the same idea ill be keeping an eye out for your videos
It's been a dream of mine for a long time. I used to live on the Hawkesbury at North Richmond. Spent a lot of time on the river with my old boat. Good luck with your build.
I don't know exactly but the trailer doesn't have brakes so potentially not much more than 750kgs. Perhaps a conservative estimate would be around 1 ton.
@@AllThingsOutdoors awesome was thinking about the same, seems more 16+ft would be more 1.5t as most have braked trailers, might be worth retrofitting or finding a trailer with brakes for good measure in my scenario!
super good deal on a practical multi use boat....luv it!

My 3.2 Ford Ranger doesn't seem to have a problem towing it. Doesn't get pushed around and plenty of acceleration.
Good for it

@dorindaokeeffe9252 still trying to find a replacement cylinder head to fix the motor.
By now , 10 months on you will have found out that it’s too small for what your mentioned needs are , sleeping the family ect.
I'm not aiming for the family to sleep in it. Just me. It's more for day trips for the family.
