Great video Al straight to the point and informative . Never too late for RCing 👊🏼 Great shake down that thing rips!! . Take care and have a great weekend
Hey Fonzie, in the next couple of videos, I will be trying different things. I would like honest feedback. You're correct never too late. The 4500kV came in today now to put it in and then give it another test if it gives me the speed and power (nothing outrageous) I'm looking for. You have a awesome rest of your weekend.
Hey There Freeman-JPLK, thanks for the awesome comment and for watching the video, I really appreciate that very much. Take care and stay safe my friend.
MechanicallyFun, glad to hear you picked up a Mojave Grom, these things can go anywhere (pretty much fit in a backpack) and have a blast. I am glad I got one as well and once the newer motor comes in it will get another run (this will be the one I run during family fun) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Take care and best wishes to you.
Hi Jeremy, thanks, I do think a 4500kV is better for this one, it's a lot bigger then the Granite Grom, heavier then the Typhon Grom. So once the new motor come is I will see if that's the case. Hopefully it will give me the power and speed I'm looking for without a lot of upgrades (new motor mount and pinion gear). Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend my friend.
Great presentation Al. Right out of the box this looks like a great car. But puuting your personal stuff in, gives it the extra punch of fun. Have a great weekend my friend.
Hello Dirk, since this has been out for a little bit a full unboxing and review really wasn't necessary, but the electronics was. I'm not looking to break any speeds with this, but to have a dedicated Grom for me to run when the family wants to come over and run some RCs on the track. I think a 4500kV motor is the best motor for this one not to much and not to little power. Take care and best wishes to you and the family.
Hello MysticRiverRC, I really appreciate that you stopped by to watch the video and for the great comment. Once the 4500kV motor comes in I will have another running of the Mojave Grom, I think the newer motor is a perfect fit for the RC not to much power and not to little, just the right amount to either hit the track, street and a little basing without overpowering the electronics and out of the box gearing. I hope to see more comments from you in the future, take care and stay safe out on your RC adventure.
It looks like a lot of fun. Nice to see how the different scale vehicles handle on the track. Some see the lanes as suggestions and plow over them while this little guy sees it as a massive wall and tumbles with contact. 😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It has some pep to it with the brushless system in it! I can understand you wanting a bit more out of it, in stock form it would take a little while to get around your track! It looks to have about the right amount of power for it, enough to get it going well but not so much it is a hard to drive handful! Have fun with it. Next time I come over I am bringing you my battery from the Typhon grom to add to your collection.
Hey Al, another great video. I’ve kind of been looking at the ‘Grom’ series from Arrma, not been sure of them, but looking at your video, it’s given me an insight into a possible future RC, thank you my friend. Best wishes to you and the family 🖐️😉😎
Hi John, thank you for that wonderful comment, I really did not see myself getting into the mini RCs until I picked up the Team Associated Reflex 14B and then the Jetwood. Now when the family comes out (daughter, son, grandson and daughter-in-law) and I ask which RCs they want to have fun with they pick the groms, TA and then the tenth scale, I normally do not video the time I enjoy with them but I may do it this weekend (my birthday) if they do not mind. Now the Mojave Grom is my truck to run when they come over. If you do decide to get one you will not be disappointed, they are really a blast to drive and they are small enough to take with you (trip coming on the 18th 😁😁💯💯💯). Again thanks as always John and best wishes to you and the family my friend.
@@sparetimerc Hey Al, a very happy birthday to you, enjoy your day ! I look forward seeing how the family get on with some competitive family fun 😎🖐️😉best wishes to you all 👊🏼😎🖐️

Nice unboxing Al! That system seems to suit the truck well!👍😊

It does have a little get-up and go to it. 4500kV came yesterday evening will be swapping them out today. Thanks for the battery I can use them,

Still loving your channel, bro, you keep in it hot.
good stuff
Hello Mason-Dain, thanks for watching the video and for the comment. I really appreciate the support.
Which of your Groms do you like the best?
For all-around dirt slinging the Mojave Grom. Now track Typhon takes it.
