I don’t know why but I feel like your kids will have such a healthy relationship with food. No restrictions, no labelling as good or bad food and showing them how to cook properly. 🧡
@@ExcludedShadow In today's climate of labeling normal foods as bad foods, i.e. dairy, meat, carbs ect. it is so nice to see Delilah cook lovely balanced meals. I feel so bad for the kids getting most of their meals from vitamixes these days.
YESS TO THE FOOD CONTENT 🥲🥰♥️🤗 it makes me so happy to see you branching out and making content about other aspects of your life/interests of yours. Btw-- canned coconut milk makes an EXCELLENT dairy replacement, especially for soups! It has a full bodied taste and mouthfeel without the dairy. Highly recommend. PPS- William is looking so big & strong and handsome 🥺 I feel like he was just born! you're truly an inspiration, sending you so much love
Loved this so much. Often, "What I eat in a day" videos have an air of judgement and showcase meals that are expensive, finnicky and difficult to find in a regular grocery store. From someone who grew up with a mother with disordered eating, it was so nice to see you eating the same things you make for your kids and giving yourself a treat. Beautifully done, thank you for this ❣️
"What you puton the table does not define you as a parent." That is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you, Delilah, for being such a great source of encouragement for other parents.
Theo’s little “can you help me?” at the start 🥺 love your videos and think it’s wonderful you included that it’s not how dinner always looks at the end
Hahahahhaha! So feel this! Fellow momma of three (ages 1,2&4) here 🙋🏼♀️ Make the food, serve the food, feed the food / supervise the eating of the food, clean up the little humans from the food, clean up the floor, clean up the kitchen from making the food. Repeat.
You are raising people that will feel confident and capable in the kitchen. Well done mama! This is an often overlooked skill that is integral to the human experience:)
Awwwwww look at that cute little butterball just chhilling on mums arm 😍 The kitchen is most definitely my happy place - Feeding people and baking some happiness and care into things is definitely my love language. Love Theos' Pjs btw.
Watching your videos has 100% calmed me down, reduced my anxiety and make me want to be a better mom. I’ve been in a funk lately, but I’m inspired to cook more and be more calm and attentive to my babies. Thank you 🖤
Your channel is amazing! Whenever I feel stuck in the mundane mom life your videos remind me of how beautiful motherhood is. Thank you for helping me to be excited to face my days with my baby. 😊
I love that you include your kids in the cooking process! I think I would be way more into cooking if it was something I'd learned when I was little instead of trying to figure it out on my own when I was living on my own!
Thank you for creating inspiring content and also raw and honest content as this is how life often is both. I enjoy watching your videos in the early hours of the day before going to work.
Loved this! I rely heavily on my slow cooker. Makes evenings so much easier! Also, as someone who deals with chronic pain, I appreciated the note at the end. Some days I have energy to cook a really nice homemade meal with fancy sides, others, I do well to get Totinos pizza rolls in the oven. And that's okay. 😊
Hey Delilah, I love your videos. The time that you put into your videos does not go unnoticed. And it is so nice and refreshing to see a video from a UA-camr that is not sponsored. I totally support you when you post sponsored videos but I also love that you occasionally post videos without a sponsorship. You and your husband have such a healthy relationship and it is so inspiring. Thank you and keep doing what you're doing! ❤️
As Theo's speech gets even better, his joy for life shines bright like Eloise. You & the Hubs are so blessed. I can't wait to see William interacting with his siblings in a few years. It's going to be chaotic, exhausting, and incredibly fun! Mine are grown & I remember the days of routine work just to keep my family alive & well, feeling exhausted & feeling like I didn't get anything done. Then at night, watching your baby or toddler sleep after a long day & realizing how incredible it is to be able to be a stay at home Mom. All the food cooking you do even makes me tired. You're doing great. On the long days... know your doing a great job at Momming. 🙂
Amazing video as always! :) Btw. Few weeks ago I wrote how thanks to your “worrying won’t help anything” my medical appointment went great. It should have been really painful, but my doctor did the best he could and I actually enjoyed it and laughed during the process. Thank you very much! You’re the best! Love from Europe!
I love this video. I have a 4 month old and I cannot wait for the little helper meals and the solo cooking meals in our future. Your videos have already made me a better parent with your honesty and gentle parenting techniques. Thank you so much for your videos. 🙏
Delilah I would just like to say thank you so much for these videos of your beautiful family! They give me so much inspiration and motivation to keep pushing forward, my husband works a full time job that also requires him to work one weekend a month and does full time college as well. I have a 4 year old, 2 year old and another due in February, and this past year Iv been spread very thin and it truly is videos like this that remind me how much the little things matter and that this season in life won’t last long and soon I’ll be missing them when my children are grown. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing 💘 God bless you in Jesus name.
You inspired me to throw together a crockpot dinner this afternoon!! Got back from a little hike and the house smelled SO GOOD! Thank you for sharing your beautiful family!
Loved this and feels like a lovley balance of what to share after your recent video where you felt torn. The focus was more on your dynamic within your family I loved it 😊
I always love when you fo these types of videos because im a fellow canadian & love to use it as inspiration for my own meals. That lunch sounded so good!
Made me teary at end reading your subtitles! There is way too much pressure on us mums to make organic veggie-filled meals all the time. Thank you for the reminder ❤️
Omg I love that y’all light up a candle at dinner time so relaxing I wish I could do that I have a two year old that right away sing happy birthday and lows it out lol
What a lovely, heartwarming video, Delilah. But also thank you for the considerate reminder at the very end. You gave me inspiration and got me excited for colder month meals. :) Best wishes for you and your wonderful family.
That supper looks absolutely beautiful. Everything from the sourdough (which looks way better than my best loaf by the way) to the content children to the excellent choice in background music. Just perfectly shot. And thank you very much for the disclaimer, very helpful in preventing mom guilt haha.
I love this ❤️ if I lived in Canada I’d love to sit in your kitchen and have a coffee and a treat together. My son Micah is about William’s age and I love watching your videos. Staying home has been such a blessing, but also a big transition for us - something I’ve always dreamed of. I am looking forward to teaching him too cook and having a little buddy in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing your sweet family and for honoring God in the way you care for them, He is well pleased in you.
This made me emotional too, glad to see I am not alone. I put hamburger helper on the table today, actually, my husband did, it was what we could manage and we are all still fine and healthy. I never use my crockpot much either, everything I make in it comes out the same mushy texture. But I do have the same crock pot as you and fyi the clasps are only to be used for when you are transporting, not while cooking, you don't want to build up pressure in there!
I don’t know why but I feel like your kids will have such a healthy relationship with food. No restrictions, no labelling as good or bad food and showing them how to cook properly. 🧡
Yes. She does a great job showing what balanced meals look like. Happy healthy kids for sure.
I’d say there is definitely such a thing as bad food, lots of junk foods provide almost nothing helpful nutritionally

The candles are so special I know as a child I loved any little special thing we did like that. Your children are so loved🥰
This mama of three (including a newborn) needed a video like this, so thank you, lovely Delilah ♥️
Same girl, same. 4.5 year old, 3 year old, and 2 month old 😃
This video was so calming. The end was perfect and really true. As long as your kids are adequately fed and happy you’re doing great ❤️❤️

Thanks for reminding me how important meals are! I love cooking and nourishing the body and soul of my family. 😊
"What you puton the table does not define you as a parent." That is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you, Delilah, for being such a great source of encouragement for other parents.
You really put your heart and soul into your home cooked meals.

“What you put on the table does not define you as a parent”. Whoa. I was not expecting to get choked up by that but that made so much sense to me!
Loved this video. We too started eating dinner with candle light and it just is a reminder of Gods provision and his goodness even in the mundane.
I just want to say how much I appreciate your videos as a mom. I'm a mom of 3 kiddos. Your videos are just very relatable and it's just nice.
You are raising people that will feel confident and capable in the kitchen. Well done mama! This is an often overlooked skill that is integral to the human experience:)
I love your videos so much! Given what your sweet children ate in this video, I don’t think they’re picky eaters. You’re doing a great job!
Ah I made mostly food they love this day. Some days all they eat is noodles 🙃 haha
I wonder what it is about sharing your everyday life (especially meals!!) that's so beautiful and warm- thank you so much for sharing these moments

"What you put on the table does not define you as a parent."
You got me right in my heart strings, Delilah 🥲♥️
OMG SAME. ALL CROCK POT RECIPES START TO FEEL THE SAME. Thank you for that validation 😋
That was thoughtful of you to say those things at the end. You didn’t have to say that. You chose to. Thank you ❤️
I don't know how you manage to keep your kitchen so clean. It's a constant battle for me. Beautiful family 💖💖💖
Your an amazing talented mom. You put so much effort into your food and it looks delicious. Your kids look so happy and eager to have their meals.
I love that you include your kids in the cooking process! I think I would be way more into cooking if it was something I'd learned when I was little instead of trying to figure it out on my own when I was living on my own!
No matter how often that type of dinner happens... it was so peaceful and beautiful. And even more wonderful you have footage to cherish always.
Love this. Reminds me of those old movies. Classical family time. Beautiful!

More of these!! Inspiring and relaxing at the same time. Loved it. And your words at the end were perfect, too. Thank you!
I was iffy about if I would enjoy watching ‘what I eat in a day video’ but honestly I LOVED it. A great alternative to Vlogs 🥰

Saving this to try out that soup recipe. Looks really good. Beautiful family!

That was such a beautiful and calming and lovely video. Thank you Delilah. That really made my Saturday morning 🤍
I’m in love with the editing in this video. 💕
I hope you used the coconut milk Theo bought during the last grocery haul. You can make a..lot of curry based meal with that.
