- Hi all, I am really excited to announce that the RX7 is coming back to life crazier than ever! We have started the Rebuild of the FD3S and building it to the level I always dreamed about from when I was a kid. I hope you enjoy some of the history we had with this car and talking about the plans. The car will be coming together really quickly and will be released within a few weeks.

As a rotorhead this makes me very happy. Random guess at a 20b? would be sick but knowing it'll be a show car type deal, I have a feeling he'll do 4 rotor. Would be mental seeing james, mike and adam all ripping 4 rotors on a track together 🤙

This car will always sit in a special place in my memory box, my first introduction to "top spec drifting in-person" was standing on the bank of what was known as adelaide bend on a sunday morning practice session in Mondello ( 2012 I think?), and this teal/blue rx7came into shot backwards at over 90mph!, the rest is history!, that obnoxious Aerokit really sat well on it, till this day its my all time favourite drift car🙌🏼 (and a mention to Nigel Colfer he had a kit on his s-body around the same time as well best looking cars on the grid)
Finally, I commented last time i wouldn’t watch until it has a rotary engine again. I’m here for the rotary now baby 🎉

It might just be a 20B, maybe NA, turboing a 26B is NOT cheap and he will use this car just for fun.

I don't think James has really spent much time around Mad Mike so if its a 4rotor it likely wouldn't come from MM. The more likely scenario is the Vargas brothers. Since James is competing for RTR and is around Adam LZ who's just built a 4 rotor car with the Vargas brothers, its more than likely a rotary that's been built by them.

This car is testiment to the fact you dont have to go crazy and “be different” to stand out! In my opinion the simple a clean visuals of this thing make it one of the coolest competition cars anywhere on on the planet to this day! The styling has stood the test of time when alot of other fads and waves have come and gone! The sr20 was just another super cool choice that made this thing such cool car! Be interesting to see whats in store for it !!!🎶🎶🎶🎶

Forgot what event it was because i was still pretty young but i do still remember there was a Falken RX7 doing a drift demo and it fueled my fire for drifting.

I hope this is build ends up similar to the og 4rotor madbul when it was first unveiled all those years back in auckland. Thing wasn't the best drift car but the most gangsta rx7 on this planet the noise was insane💯🤙👌
