Great video Jarrod. I love these tours, especially when kits are used. I like sPod, but I’m building my own system using NodeRed and Home Assistant. This way I can have physical switches, and virtual ones on the screen, and all systems, like solar, battery, water, etc can have the same interface. I believe that’s the future.
Very nice! Can I suggest that the Sterling unit needs venting as they can get hot quickly and throttle back the charging i.e. 60 amps to 30 amps if its the 1260. Ideally you'd want a PC fan or something similar to push the hot air out of that electrical boxing, add big vents too.
I love your van home its great even where you keep the toilet 🚽 I love that I think you covered it all and don't forget the curtains for private but most important part enjoy what you made .
Love all your videos! Probably watched everything a few times. Can you do a reaction video on the Hymer Vision Venture concept. I'm from SA and only dreaming about van life.
Is the weight of the water and the weight of the batteries close to the same? I like the idea of weight being located close to the wheels and being evenly distributed....really like this van build!! Thanks for the video Jarrod Tocci! 🌀❤️🌀
I actually cut that counter part out of the video because Jason didn't know as it was picked from the woodworker. It's a hard solid surface but I didn't get what it is, sorry.
Would be cool to see a video on the spod. Would you need to purchase SE source along with the screen or can you purchase just the screens to wire everything up?
Maybe Jason and I can do a video about them but I wanted to focus on the total van and not take up too much time on the spod. I think there's only one model but I could be wrong. You can also try to email Jason and see.
I actually have a update video coming out tomorrow. I have 2 new rigs in the works! Settled down in Portland area and I'm getting a shop for my woodworking/design work.
@@JarrodTocci Cool, I thought your next move was land, shipping container and shop, and in 12 mths another van. I will be looking forward to the updates. Remember what I told you about Unorganized Townships to look for re - Planning/Zoning. Less restrictions. (comments around 90 days ago to you)
@@JarrodTocci Hi Jarrod. Just wanted to let you know I enjoy all your videos mate. Keep it up you have something good going and I wish you all the success with your channel 👍
I'm starting September 1st. I might be able to get one out sooner but I'm playing it safe by saying September 1st. Feel free to email me at info@jarrodtocci.com
Did you click the link? I just clicked on it and it worked. I might of misspelled it in the overlay of the video and I'll have to go back to check but the link works
With the limited space in these vans, making a separate room just for a toilet would be a waste of space. If you're traveling with someone else it's just a unwritten rule that things like this come up. Comes with the territory I guess, and hopefully you're close with the person you travel with or you will be close once you're out there.
Jarrod Tocci I suggested a curtain as an alternative solution. With limited space, the best way is make everything convertible including the kitchen, shower, toilet, and bed.
Lol, windows all over. This has bad idea written all over. This van will be a cooker over when it gets hot outside. There's a good reason why most van dwellers don't overdo it in the window department. Btw, putting in curtains won't help, curtains aren't insulation which is what this van lacks.
"...when it gets hot outside." Until the heat dome this last summer I would have said that you've never spent a summer in the PNW, but I think you are correct now.

Looks like the "NorthWest" is the place to be to get your van converted. Great video. Love the idea that most of this is a kit.
Some of the best builders I know are out here, however there are great builders all over too

Love that S-Pod controller!

Cabinet knobs are Flush Mount Marine Latches. Awesome build.
Jason does great work. sPod gear is great. Going on my wish list.
Great video, love the colors.
Love this van. What was the approximate cost for this build?
Cool van and an even better shirt!!
that " little guy" is way too cool, gotta love it and if that isn't ridicules enough, what else would be?
Gosh, technology..
Congratulations on 90k subscribers - I’m sure the 100k is not far away!! Love watching your channel - stay safe 🚐
Thank you!!! I never thought I'd have this many and I'm so so happy to keep doing videos. Many many more to come!! Thanks again
Great work , very nice set up Jason

Very clean build!

Yes they are very close. It's the other things that could throw off the balance but this van has good balance to it.
Those guys got it goin on two thumbs up
Nice tour. Wish I had known about the S-Pod system sooner, I would have asked Marc about using it. What is the kitchen counter made from? Thank you

"So fresh and so clean, clean"!!!!!! Anybody??!!
Honestly when I said that I thought of singing that song. Thankfully for everyone out there I didn't sing!!
@@JarrodTocci too funny!!
Sing nxt time!! You know we all will!!
Definitely want to see that ambulance!
He and I just set up a day to film it! Really excited
Great video
Our Loo faces the back of the passenger seat too but pulls out the front if needed.
Pad shifted when he sat on it...need velcro or something to keep it in place or it will slide off when you are travelling
The bench cushion moves every time you sitting on
I believe those drawer nobs were invented by a great guy in Australia.
Thumbs up if you see that Chris Farley shirt and appreciate it. Because A Van.... Down By the River.
Good eye!
Ooh yes that’s amazing 😉
Would be cool to see a video on the spod. Would you need to purchase SE source along with the screen or can you purchase just the screens to wire everything up?
I like that idea and I will talk to Jason this week to find out when he's putting another one in so I can do a video with him
Jarrod Tocci that would be awesome! I decided im going with the spod and 2 touch screens
Can you say more about the spod or send a link for that model?
Maybe Jason and I can do a video about them but I wanted to focus on the total van and not take up too much time on the spod. I think there's only one model but I could be wrong. You can also try to email Jason and see.
Any idea how long before the galley kits will be available?
Why didn't Thane grain match the wood on those drawers?
What was that controller with the dimmer?
S pod is wicked cool
I need to buy a mini van....any ideas
All this super new tech, then in the same breath using words like inches and feet. Come on America go bloody metric. Quality post as usual btw Jarrod.
what was the name (or link) of that controller for the lights? Very cool
spod
Hmmmm S-Pod was used in Jeep’s.... I gotta get me one if these. Jarrod gets a Jeep Gladitor
Coincidence... I think not!!! Incredible meme lol
now i want an s-pod controller. i feel like i need 2.
Texas ❤️
Jarrod - with your van sold, like, where are you living these days??
He belongs to the streets now

BTU - British Temperature Unit. Funny how you don't refer to it as imperial measurement any more, now its fractional 😀
Always found that weird that in America we use terms like BTU but no metric

Does anyone know if those aft van sidewall expanders are also available for Ram Promasters? And maybe what the correct name for them are?
I've seen them on Promaster yes. And they are flare space
Thanks@@JarrodTocci!!!!!
Appreciate your knowledge.
Are you selling lagoon tables yet ?

Same problem

Needs more storage, drawers
*TWO OPEN DOORS INSTEAD OF A SLIDING DOOR WOULD GIVE A VAN PERSON MORE WALL SPACE.*
.
So every time the toilet is used, everyone else should get out. Toilets should have their own closet or curtain.

@@finned958 true a curtain would work
Why do these van builders use Mercedes so often?
Too bad you didn't have a s pod in your van you could have got $10,000 more hello
hahaha maybe!!

They sell insulated curtains you know?

What a waste of space---no upper cabinets---wtf...
No upper cabinets yet
Pretty sure they didn't design and built it for what you want. Most people design and build for what they want.
Upper cabinets can be installed on those tracks you see, but the client also didn't want any so you always have to do what the person wants.
