the bed folding to one side, allowing, theoretically, to extend the galley's worktop to the very end of the van is really critical in a short base such as the 144 chassis. hugely space saving and making electrics and plumbing super accessible 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Love this van color and specs. So much functionality. How much would a complete van be for all? I’m looking to invest in one, could you give estimate to get something just like your van. Anyway to rig one just like that with sleeper for 5 to 7 if needed for emergency.
If the batteries are in a super low state of charge they might overheat the alternator during idle if you don’t have a dc-dc charger or 3-stage externally regulated alternator. Also, once the batteries cut-off the charge upon reaching 100% SOC, it could destroy the alternator due excess current that has nowhere to go.
From van builds I've seen they usually use a thin layer of wood or frames of wood first to put the insulation behind or with, then use industrial glue or something of the sort.
This may sound small but I wish it was shown how the bed comes down (6:20) and what the space looks like with the bed up where the floor is and if the bed comes down is one piece and if the cushions for the bed have segments? Perhaps there's ano ther video that shows this on their website or if they have a UA-cam channel? also as a suggestion at the corner of the counter which is next to the two seats that go down, perhaps the kitchen countertop Corner could be more narrow at that spot or have an indentation so the corner doesn't come out like that so that when the two seats are upright a person can pass through diagonally without running into the two seats. finally as a suggestion the company needs to consider also having a different color scheme version of the van perhaps wheree more of the ceiling and walls are white - tbh I wouldn't initially consider this van bc the general dark look but with a more light color palette option and a tour where you get to seen the whole of the interior as one shot from back wall to front of van i would consider watchng the tou again to ponder if its livable. Right now im having to use my imagination to do that however it is something that a few good shots of the interior of the van could Remedy or even if there is a van life couple who would provide a tour of the van that they have been living in

Incinerating toilet don't make sense for van life. They are too expensive and they take too much power. It's a longevity thing with the power too, because most power systems can handle the power but over time and using it many times a day doesn't make sense on a battery draw.
You have the faucet and soap dispenser I just installed in my home. I am looking for the B van and for someone like you to build it out. How do I get in touch?
He only has two 45-watt solar panels charging two 120-amp hour batteries, but the batteries also charge from the alternator when the van is running. He also mentioned that he built another van for a customer that had more solar capacity and five batteries that gave it a total of 600 amp hours, and they were able to run air conditioning for 8+ hours. I love stuff that is overbuilt, so I would go for the 600 amp hour beast. The only drawback is that there would not be any room for a deck on the roof unless you bought heavy-duty solar panels that are safe to walk on.
How do you run a induction cook top and a electric water heater off a 2500 inverter? Is there a switch that only allows you to run one at a time? Or can you only use the water heater when hooked up to shore power?
