This van life dreamer has learned a lot. I hope to one day own a converted van (made with my own design) and either live in it full/part time and/or just travel in it. Thank you for sharing all kinds of Van builds from the professionals to the DIY'ers.
I love showing the view of the front part of the van, incuding all the extras in the front: swivel seats, how the second row of seats works out with a table, the shelf, etc.
This is a totally awesome van, they do an amazing job with their vans and this is a great layout for families. I would loved to know how hefty the deposit is. Totally beautiful inside and outside. Great job on the walk through.
OMG the complaints you get. I hope you ignore them. All of your tours are great, and you’re absolutely right. We learn something from every single rig. I had a great idea based on the collapsible overhead cabinets you showed in your last video.
Thank you. But if I didn’t get hate or complaints I’d worry. No one is perfect so I don’t expect to be. I’m used to people and I know most are projecting own insecurities. Sometimes I won’t read comments for days but I also like to read the positive ones or the ones that ask good questions
Thank you! So many ideas because of your videos. Needs vs wants is what you’ve made obvious for me. I have a better understanding of limited space with comfort. I don’t need everything. I only need my build to be an expression of me instead of everything cool and wonderful. I’ve cut my budget my 40%.
Great! We came up with a similar layout for our 170 also needing to seat 4 and sleep 4. But since I'm 6'3 we will have the lower bed in the length direction of the van. This gives a little less room between bed area and seeting area. And we probably won't use the shower that much, an outside shower is enough.
I know absolutely nothing about the modeling of vans or anything (definitely want to do it!) but watch Mercedes start doing those lights on all their vehicles now bc it’s AMAZING! 😍
Beautiful build! For first time and normal average buyers like us we're happy with our 20AT Thor Tellaro w/lithium. Also sits 4 and sleeps 4 with the skybunk. 11,000W /800ah, 3000w inverter can run alternator at idle. We can run AC, microwave, heaters, TV etc no problems. We got ours for low $100K range. For next rig we definitely will consider custom build, ohh but all electric..
Love this build drive 4 sleep 4 is what we would personally need. I have actually thought of some sort of double Murphy bed designs trying to figure how to maximize space to fit kid space.
I saw one design where there are two single bunk beds and they both can fold up and out of way.... Similar to a murphy. But also can leave bottom bed out and fold the top bunk DOWNWARDS to make like a day bed/couch type of sitting. I am also fond of the two benches with lowered table type beds too! Personal space no matter how small can make it break it for sure...... Cheers! I thought it was very clever! The guy does have a you tube! Cheers!
Holy hell…you guys are seriously, seriously talented! I truly would love one of these for some easy car camping-and to live in if I ever lost my house, lol. Congratulations on your builds!
My dream is to get one of these that is a Boondock model with solar power generator an engine alternator for a 2500 a month I have a lot of money saved up for it. But I’m having trouble with the quality, and the distributors around me I don’t trust I’ve been to them before and they’re nasty. This is the first one I’ve seen for 80,000 all of the Thor scope/rizes I’ve seen our 120. This right here is exactly what I want and if I could get it from a local trusted dealer and buy it today!
Mercedes Sprinter is one of the most common vans in the Netherlands, and parts are easily purchased. Other brands are stepping up last years, with better wholesale prices on chassis and parts, and less repairs. That last point kept in mind: their suspentions were the reason that the MercedesVan was -next to Chevrolet- primarly used as Ambulances.
Why there are so many exposed metal parts of this van inside? Is it insulated at all? I always thought that one of the crucial things to do is to properly insulate it. This will not only help keeping the van warm in cold weather but also keep cool in warm weather.
The tour was awesome, the van is even more impressive. But that Volta system being such a closed garden, totally unfriendly to right to repair is a total dealbreaker for me.
Wanting to do this layout DYI in a year or two when I need to get a new vehicle…no shower and I’ll go much more simple/straight forward in terms of complexity with electronics and water systems. With that in mind, if I’m only driving 8 miles a day for work, would it be a huge deal to use this as a daily driver too? I can’t afford this as a fun vehicle. It would need to function daily too.
I feel as though vans are now becoming a fashion statement with Rich people showing off their wealth by having the latest battery system etc. Instead of buying a supercar they are now splashing £100k on a van to go camping in a couple of weekends a year 🙄. Although it's an impressive build, I do find the DIY vans more interesting where the owners have invested their time learning new skills building it rather than just opening their wallets.
There’s room for everyone. When I got into vanlife nobody ever judged anyone and that’s why I loved it so much. I felt very safe. Hope we can get back to that. Live your van life
It's what it feels like for sure. Though for me it's more a matter of like... what's the longevity of Lithium Cobalt Oxide as opposed to Lithium Iron Phosphate and what're the cost differences at play here?
@@JarrodTocci yes, thank you!! I don't have a van/ambo/bus yet, but am planning on building something out when I retire and I *love* your professional build tours so I can learn from them. You're incredibly helpful, informative, and easy to watch. Dunno if I will DIY or buy from a pro, but either way your videos are very influential in my planning process. #liveyourvanlife (loved that guy, too!! His build was as creative as he is 😁)
Hi Adam Adam I just talked with you about your trip today and we are all all set up on this weekend so so much much to you you and and I I can see if we we could do do do that and we will do not need need need a plan to to to help us with the other PRs or
I really appreciate the hard work y'all put into these vans... But...uhh Im 6' tall. ...i dont like having to bend over while moving around.... So maybe a box truck that has a 7' tall interior???
I want no solar. I just want a ton of power!I want my pups to be comfortable. I need AC bc I have an autoimmune disease! I’m pretty sure OVP for my build.
Beautiful van, thank you for the interview. But all I hear is the interviewer screaming in the microphone when I would prefer to actually listen to the gentleman being interviewed.
Hey, I'm a huge fan of your videos as they are so very informative and now even I am considering getting a camper van. According to you which are the best shows or exhibition to attend for seeing the best of camper vans?
Adventure van expo has high end builders. Time home shows/festivals have a good mix of DIY and pros and all sorts of vans and tiny homes. Open roads fest is lots of info for outdoorsy type stuff.
With pro builders I don’t because so much can change and I also respect the owner. With DIYers I ask if I can share price or cost and some say yes and some say no so again it’s a respect thing
@@JarrodTocci Thanks for the reply! I was thinking same, although lagun sounds good because you can swivel it around it may not be as sturdy. Any link for this new telescoping pedestal table style pls. Ty
My DIY sprinter build was possible only because of how much knowledge I got from Dustin. Great shop, amazing builds

All these technological innovations make me feel really old. This is not the van my sister and I used to run away in the 70s 😂. Very cool 🥰
Jarrod I'm extremly appreciative of the fact that you guys provide us this much content to learn from. Keep crushing it dude!

This DIY’er has learned s TON from OVP and your vids!
Wow! Great tour of an amazing van. Dustin and OVP have really got their designs dialed in.

Just beyond perfect engineering. It’s amazing how van builds have advance with new upstart companies paving the way.
Right!!! Pretty awesome for sure!

Awesome build. Very well done it's great to see family options. Very cool bumper
Finally locating a Volta system van that has customizations. Awesome.
I love your tours dude, you are literally living my dream lol

I Love it. Absolutely fantastic van great job. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this layout! Definitely want to buy a van from these guys!
Woo-hoo, it's the sexy af Overland guy again! Love your builds! And I totally learn tons!
Good to see Dustin again. He’s such a handsome guy
A conversion like this by moving the camera around showing the relevant parts of the van would be nice,
Great video! Thank you so much!
I've noticed fabric wrap isn't great for fulltimers with pets unless it's Kevlar fabric.
Love this !!! Don’t need the 2 beds personally but love the power and design
It’s a good idea if you have kids.
Keep showing those professional builds
Uploading one of the BEST now!
This vans are getting crazier and crazier by the ton!
Wow love the shower and space can be custom for wheelchair planning for van in future
Thanks for sharing this van it’s amazing
Finally Jarod a 4 sleeper
I’ve done others that sleep 4 😝
Great build. Thanks jarred.
If I win the lottery or they start paying teachers alot more I'm definitely getting one of these xD awesome video again!
For a minute there I thought Jarrod had snagged Mark Zuckerberg for an interview.
lucky family....that is BEAUTIFUL.
Could you put some links in of some of the gear he spoke about that supplied him with some of the many cool things he used!
Nice ! Can i see the tire rack up close ? Just beautiful work thank you ...👊😎
No dirty water filtration... holy hell that's cool.
Didn’t see a small refrigerator in there, is there one in there?
Would that massive 2nd alternator have much impact on the fuel economy of the van? That is an awesome build!!!
It shouldn’t. All an alternator is generate power so depending how it’s made is how much power it produces
yea that sprinter van is nice! id love one
What was the brand and model of the side awning... and the brand of the seats please? I couldn't make it out from the video and it's not listed

Beautiful color excellent set up
Great looking van, I’m interested in their battery system… I started following them.
It is a great van. The stainless steel is so nice in the bathroom, but I wouldn't be able to fit in it though.
totally bummed that a West Coast custom van builder is standardizing. That said, I get the need to pump out more product to keep the doors open.
That is amazing van. Thank you for showing us. After rvlife, we are looking forward to Vanlife and than boatlife #kapken

I wonder who will be first to stand up from back seats and concuss themselves on that cabinet corner?
Wow, gorgeous van!
The tour was awesome, the van is even more impressive. But that Volta system being such a closed garden, totally unfriendly to right to repair is a total dealbreaker for me.
I have a question, with a 20 gallon water tank, how they are going to shower if the family have four members?
I need to get my credit up and start saving I want one!!!!

4 people no,2 people definitely. Use the lower bed area for storage.
Thanks for the video, super helpful.
Beautiful electricals ,,, my dream 😍
The seat quality and patterns should match

Alrighty then
Great video. Great company. Could you provide any additional info on the Oregon/Washington RV loan (workaround) that he mentioned?
Who doesn't love forts.
The ceiling strip light, during day time and light is off does that strip light look ugly and affects the nice look of the ceiling?
I wouldn't buy a system I couldn't add things to myself, but then again I would want to build my own
do they make vans with an extended roof? im 6'6 am i just out of luck when it comes to van/tiny home life?
I like the pro builders
I want no solar. I just want a ton of power!I want my pups to be comfortable. I need AC bc I have an autoimmune disease! I’m pretty sure OVP for my build.

Beautiful van, thank you for the interview. But all I hear is the interviewer screaming in the microphone when I would prefer to actually listen to the gentleman being interviewed.
Sorry if I missed this; Where did you source the shower/toilet enclosure and pan? TIA
That was totally awesome!!!!
The alternator is 7000 watts, at 48v direct output....right?
Then the alternator is only 145 amps?

Beautiful, but way above my price range!!
Did they say the customer was locked out of servicing the Volta system? That would be a easy deal breaker for me. Right to repair.
Nice design, how much is it?
It would be really nice if we can have the price tag for each final product for references.

Beautiful ❤️❤️
These guys could put a power option on the beds I know they can
What are the pros of pedestal table like on this video instead of the Lagun swivel style table pls. Pros n cons, ty!
Weight. Lagun is great but can’t handle as much weight. This new style of telescoping pedestal allows you to remove it
@@JarrodTocci Thanks for the reply! I was thinking same, although lagun sounds good because you can swivel it around it may not be as sturdy. Any link for this new telescoping pedestal table style pls. Ty
Yes! I want to learn from the builders that know what they're doing!
how has the volta system holding up?
How much something like this cost?
How much would one of these cost
Great review.Thak you.
Awesome... thanks for sharing
What r high idle kits to charge the batteries?
The only thing that I like about the professional is their showers
I think the bottom bunk is like a coffin
No disrespect intended, but you keep interrupting him when he talks...let him finish.
lol, i m be quiet for a minute
But Jarrod knows what to ask, being a traveler himself.i appreciated it a lot!
what are the light strips on the roof?
How you doin today?
What's cost plus maintenance on average?
I’d like it better with a queen bed on bottom with a twin on top.
So Freaking Awesome!!
