    Hello you bloody beautiful paint wizard. Your video about common paint misconception enabled me to remove half the videos in my bodywork playlist and cut down on 50% of the misinformation i was listening to. I appreciate your effort.

    You did a really nice job. I love that little buffer head with the extension. I could've used that when I restored the paint on my 97 Honda prelude. I painted 1\4-1\5 of it with spray cans using your videos as a guide. At the time I didn't know a 2pak clear was available in spray cans. So I painted the entire front bumper. Plus I added front and rear spoiler which was painted at same time. Plus the skirts and rear lip. I also painted the calipers. And before the painting project. I built a true sealed ram air system which feeds the short ram intake. I integrated it into the body. The only part that's visible is where it's attached to the cone filter. Thanks for these videos

    Glad to see how far youve come! I learned a lot about painting from you, but been in the detail industry a while now. Your earlier videos were great for painting and sanding but the paint correction part just wasnt fully there yet. This video made me so proud of the attention to detail and the proper process. I was soo excited to see 3 towels used for coating! Cant wait to see more videos!

    Love you work Dave, lots of very handy useful tips, attention to detail when "Detailing" a car is the secret, always good to get to see actual product reviews/recommendations, looks a million bucks!
    As always great content thank you.
    Well done, Cheers Glenn.

    Hey! I was just thinking about you yesterday! I was like "You know, what's that Aussie guy from Custom Spray Mods/VG Auto Paints up to? Maybe he decided UA-cam wasn't getting him where he wanted to go, or maybe he's not feeling well? If he's not feeling well, I hope he's going to post soon maybe that'll help him..." I was imagining you going about your thing, not making videos, figuring you'd probably moved on in your life, was hoping for the best for you, and here you are! Literally yesterday I was wondering! 24 hours ago give or take! I haven't watched your video yet, but I'm really glad to see you ☺️ Guess I was starting to miss you. 😋
    Anyway, cheers, and hope everything's good for you!

    Hello
    to help me with a choice of pneumatic sander before purchase.
    there are models with a 2.5mm or 5mm orbit.
    which model to choose for car sanding before primer, sanding of the filling primer and sanding of the varnish if rectification.
    Thanks for your help

    Love it & I'm learning lots. What is and why do you use the tape over the joints / gaps between door and fixed panels?

    • @customspraymods
      @customspraymods  Місяць тому +1

      Just so we don't accidentally polish that area or throw compound in the gaps. It can be hard to clean.

    like to see a high quality car buffed-polished and waxed using large rotary polisher on all steps it can be done swirl free and perfect, and is so much quicker than those little DA polishers

    Little bit stunned by the last minute of the video. For the whole video I'm thinking - What would this be costing? 18hrs minimum + Ceramic coating... 2k? No it's Free! I'm a nice guy - any chance you could paint my really nice bicycle frame yellow for free? The bike painters charge more than $750. It would make a great video 😉

    Did you measure the paint thickness before cutting the expensive car?

    • @customspraymods
      @customspraymods  3 роки тому +3

      I did measure it but after conducting extensive tests Ive found that it doesnt matter all that much. Check my last video.
