Thanks!Hello Shev & Dev, a token gesture on my part to show my appreciation for sharing your travel memories to modern China, get some rest, best wishes from Toronto Canada.
Nice video! An extremely small correction: at 31:20, there are different screens telling you between "the next train time" and "first/last train time". In the one you are pointing, it actually says the first train is at 6am3min and last is at 10pm35min, not in 6 and 22 min. The next clip says the next train is coming in 8min. (you can tell if it's a running count down) Iirc some of these already have english translated but this line seems to be still Chinese only. Pity!

Congratulations to you guys for your new remarkable video today’s from Shanghai, China to meet great people on the streets in great joy & peace July of 2024❤❤❤
You have only visited a few big cities in China. In fact, there are many cities worth visiting, and there are many tourist attractions, such as Zhangjiajie, Changsha, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Urumqi, Xi'an, Chengdu, Wuhan, Guilin, Kunming, Qingdao, Harbin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau, Sanya, etc. Each area is very clean, and different places have different food! There are also different cultures. In China, there are four seasons at the same time. Even in summer, you can see snow! Welcome international friends to travel to China!

I agree with you after living in China for 7 years and going back there every single year. Politics aside, there is 5,000 years of history mixed in with every modern feature you could imagine. Every person I met in China was very friendly and very smart. And the economy fosters a very competitive structure. Dare I say capitalism? Healthcare is good and reasonable. I love it there.
Great video very informative....I did have to read up on procedure of entering temples apparently "Visitors should enter a temple with their left foot first and exit with their right foot first. Additionally, the traditional way to greet a monk is to place both hands together as in prayer and perform a small bow." From Google but I've read there's other etiquette you must follow .....
1:10:58 China has already abandoned the so-called "Foreign guest hotels" policy almost 20 years ago. All hotels should accept foreigners. The only issue is, the check-in registration needs to be properly documented and sent to police. However, the process of such documentation is different from that of domestic guests, and any error made will lead to a fine/penalty. The owner of the hotel tries to avoid such penalties by rejecting foreigners. If you really want to check in, you can try to dial 110 for police and make a complaint. Police officers will arrive and guide the check-in documentation.
Cape Town boy here, guys. Love your energy and videos. Been in Taiwan for 22 years, so I speak some Mandarin. Beijing is pronounced "bay jing" "Jing" being a hard J, as in "juice."

Chinese hotels have to qualify to serve foreign visitors. It probably has to do with being able to meet international standards including speaking English and serving international food.
The steepness of the wall reminded me a bit of Chichen Itza which I climbed once and it was far taller and steeper than you'd think from photos. There were handholds and ropes to help everyone get up and down very much like what you see here with the wall and in some places you were almost climbing holding the step above you. I'm so glad you took the tobaggan, it looks like an amazing experience. How fun and interesting. This was a very enjoyable visit. Much appreciated!

Chinese people see police as their guardians, not as agents of surveillance :)
