Phil Jackson's triangle had him as a crucial glue guy that's why his importance is beyond measure. Pippen is who he is, partly, because of MJ. Plain and simple. Oh, and the two years Mike was gone? The Knicks bitchslapped them. His numbers held the Bulls up. But he doesn't have that Alpha mentality of a leader that MJ was, to buy them a ring.

One little Easter egg hidden in plain sight on the Total Airs, even today in the retro models, are the uppermost lace eyelets being shaped as perfect little "P"'s. Still one of my favorite shoes from any era in Black/Volt and of course the Breds.
