Thanks for posting this video. I purchased one after watching your video. I just installed the Kuna porch light. Pretty easy. I live in a condo as well and I now realize what you mean about how annoying it can be when the Kuna porch light constantly signals you when somebody else who lives in your building is just walking by your front door. I think Kuna could solve this problem if they allowed you to set up a zone which would trigger the alert.
You can lower the alert tone to your liking. But I especially like how now every single neighbor knows you're on camera and not to mess around the front of my place.
@@WilliamDeanPlumbing that’s a good point. I never thought of that. I am blessed because all of my neighbors are great. It’s just everyone else in the city that I am concerned about.
@@WilliamDeanPlumbing after you suggested that I can lower the alert tone I looked through the settings and found the MOTION SENSITIVITY setting. I lowered it from 100% to 50% and then it would not alert me even if I walked up to the Kuna practically touched the motion sensor. I increased it to 90% and it still wont alert me. I am guessing it will just take several minutes for the settings to go from the app on my phone to the Kuna light. At least I hope that is it.
So if I have the MOTION SENSITIVITY set to anything lower than 95% the Kuna Porch Light will not detect ANY motion. The Kuna will not play the welcome chime or record the video. Nothing. To make things worse sometimes if I change the MOTION SENSITIVITY settings back to 100%, it stays unresponsive until I log out of the app and then log back in. Still really like Kuna Porch light. But I hope this gets fixed with a firmware update if other people are having the same issue.
I also have both, actually have 3 Kunas to cover my two patios and the front door. I have the original rechargeable Ring, and was glade I didn't pay extra for the pro. I get about 2 months between charges because all the activity by my door (I own a condo). I came up with same conclusion as you, they works with each weakness. But if I had to choose one of the 2, I would go with the Kuna just for the film quality, and the Kuna App. I did enjoy your review.😎
Regarding the Ring... All of their cameras will record ONLY 30 seconds, unless you answer it on your phone. What that means is: if you happen to have a "bad guy" activate your camera, the recorder shuts off in 30 seconds unless you push the app on your phone. If that bad guy doesn't look at the camera within those 30 seconds, you have no video evidence of the bad guys idenity. So a real life scenerio: let's say your in the shower, or asleep, or at the football game, or anyplace that is noisy or where you can't hear the chirp or don't answer your phone, you're screwed. I asked Ring if they could keep the recording going if "motion" remains active, but they basically told me to go fish. So, if 30 seconds recording isn't enough for you (it's not), then go with another company.
Just installed the original Ring doorbell. All excellent like you say, except also just like you say the audio from the phone app is too low. It's fine hearing the person at the door, so you hear them fine, but they can't hear you well at all. Cool to find your video here because I also bought the Kuna light to replace an old light. I just haven't installed it yet, but it does seem like they might complement each other to some extent. Anyway, I wanted a new light!

Great review! I had the same volume audio issues with the Ring Pro Door bell on 3x different brands of Android phones. Like a dummy, I finally figured out I was speaking into the wrong end of the phones! Try talking into the noise canceling port usually on the top of your phone. You can test this by blowing air around your phone until you find the right spot. The Ring Pro Chime has a reasonable barking dogs chime which complements our large dog dish we leave near the door. I wish Ring had a 'snooze' button for notifications. My kids also play in front of the door at random times of the day so the notifications get annoying.
Good review--I have a Maximus/Kuna security camera Coach Black series and a Skybell HD doorbell cam--I do agree with mostly everything he/you have said about both Kuna and Ring pro--the field of view on my Kuna is 116 degrees compared to 180 degree with my Skybell HD--I think you would find that the Skybell HD would be a better fit/choice over the Ring Pro because of the free 7 day clouding recording,faster responds to notifications such as doorbell button being press or motion detection,Colored Night vision,sharper 720p/1080p( you can see detail of someones face not a black image/silhouette)video and 2 way audio and speaker are louder and clearer..not as loud as the Kuna but I live next to a busy street and by railroad tracks and never had an issue hearing thur Skybell HD or anybody being able to hear me due to the noise cancellation tech that Skybell HD using for there speaker/mic..Final Note the Skybell HD also has Brighter Led lights that you can controll the color scheme,brightness and even turn Leds off completely so at Night when Leds are turned on it will be more of a deterent and actually give you enough light so you don't need to turn on porch light...and the Skybell HD records up to 10sec of video prior to motion being detected or doorbell being press like the Kuna so you don't miss any action..I forgot to mention that the Skybell HD app functions much like the Kuna app where you get a snapshot/static pic/image of what was at your front door when you first open up the app and video clip images listed of what activity was picked up and labels it "Motion activated" or " Button Press " or " On Demand " with date and time and records all activity to the cloud for 7 days for FREE...
I installed the Ring Doorbell Elite. It is a beautiful and reliable device. I chose the Elite for the hardwire connection and flush mount aesthetic. The sound quality is expected coming from a limited sized device, (like hands free speaker) however it is definitely loud enough and intelligible. Ring support is absolutely above standard.
I hope they did, in fact, fix it, as I called to ask what I was doing wrong they advised me I was doing nothing wrong and that was a major complaint for everyone with that unit. Compared to the kuna, which you could be standing in the street and still hear the homeowner talking to you through the kuna light. I now wish I had included a demonstration of the low audio in the video, but most others have agreed with my assessment. If it' is now louder I'd love to see that in a video.
Excellent review. Just what I was looking for. I think I'll go with the Kuna - simpler installation and I like the chime feature that will serve notice to anyone who approaches door. Plus, I have a non-working front doorbell!
I've had both the Kuna light/camera and the Ring (first generation) for a couple years. The Ring was mounted about 3 ft beneath the Kuna and the two worked well together. I subscribed to both online storage services. A week ago, the Ring died, so I replaced it with a SimpliSafe doorbell camera, since I have their alarm system in my home, and the storage service was no additional cost. Unfortunately, the SimpliSafe cannot function when the Kuna is activated (disconnects from WiFi), so the connection is dropped. I do like the image quality of the SimpliSafe compared to the Ring, but will probably return the SS doorbell camera within the 60 day return window. I wonder if the Maximus doorbell, that uses the Kuna app, would work with the Kuna light? I'll see what Kuna techs say. Thanks for your informative review.

Its good to have a cloud record you can go back to check if necessary. The ring door bell which runs off doorbell dc can be dicey on older home wiring, insufficient voltage can be troublesome, I guess that's the ease of install compromise. They still have to cut down on the things power consumption, it gets quite warm, probably leads to the rest of the problems. If Kuna made a wireless button it may solve most things even if it ran off the dc.
The doorbell voltage is almost certainly not the limiting factor in the extremely low audio output. Instead, it is the physical constraints of the Ring itself and the inability to include a speaker driver of sufficient size to generate adequate sound pressure levels. I am considering "breaking into" my Ring Pro to try to port the audio out to a box with an amplifier and a speaker of considerably greater power and size. I share your frustration with The Ring in this, and several other regards but anticipated the low audio output before purchasing it but got it anyway as there were some really good features. Now on to hacking the device, itself.
After 30 days the thing turns to dumb mode, Monthly subscription to change options like motion detection area, NO night vision. Records 1 min/30 sec so anything after that you are SOL and only keeps for 2.5 hours after it happens . And if you bought this from a non authorized dealer they will not warranty your equipment. Mine just went bad and I tried to get it warrantied and lord behold they wouldn't, 2 month of use and they don't even have an option to fix it.. All you get is Thank you for giving a kuna a try!! from kuna Thank you for responding. We will not be able to do this as its according to our policy. True, no night vision in the Kuna, but of course the big Duhhhh to that is it is a porch light, so it illuminates the area, hence no need for night vision. Yes, the free version of the cloud service, like all others is rather sparse. I have the subscription service so they are kept for up to a month and not 2.5 hours. Like many products, if you purchase from a non authorized dealer you can expect to get poor to no service, rather common in the electronic industry. All that said I'm leaning towards a nest video hello doorbell.
Great review. I actually think the low volume is a good way to get someone to put their face right up to the camera. Also, regarding the number of taps to get to a live view on the ring, I think that's because you can have multiple devices and they don't want to assume that you want to see live video from one camera over another - that is a simple fix though, have an option in the app. However, live view drains the battery for devices that have them (from what I hear), so that is also a concern.
I love Kuna, but the lack of a white model is really surprising. I asked them about it almost a year ago and they said it was coming at some point. The one thing that bugs me about the Kuna is the viewing angle of the camera, it doesn't have enough range for me to be able to aim it far enough downwards to cover my entire porch :(
super helpful review - thank you! like you, i was trying to find a comprehensive comparison of the two and your video is really the only thing i could find. we need a new light for the back door, and we live on a busy street, so knowing audio quality is important. have you used the talk-back feature of the kuna or have you only used the ring talk back? i see ring has a flood light but aesthetically not attractive compared to the kuna lights. and initial output cost is less with kuna as well. i wish the swath was larger with kuna but i see they offer supplemental cameras as options as well. thanks again for this great review! very helpful and has made me more confident that kuna is the way to go for us. (we have non-working doorbells and actually i like not having them. HAHA)

Very thorough review William. Are you fighting a cold or allergies? You seem like you're stuffed up and talking through irritated sinuses. Nevertheless... I've installed a Kuna light before but have yet to use RING. In the market for either and it looks like I'll be going with Kuna again. The remote sound effects are hilarious and worth it IMHO. Great review and very helpful. My front yard is relatively small and I live on a medium busy street. Do you know what the distance is from the Kuna that it detects movement?
Actually it was sort of a pain in the ass. But it's holding up. Taking it apart to paint it and all was annoying but I didn't really have a good workbench to do this project.
So far so good, only thing I would say is when it comes to gettng an alert and then logging on with your phone it takes longer to bring up than I would like, but honestly the ring video doorbell for some reason won't connect to the server if someone rings my doorbell, but if I just randomly view the camera it connects up fine. So I'll eventually try and uninstall and reainstall the app to see if that helps. Kuna still has much better two way audio, but the ring non pro works better with audio than the pro version, no clue if they fixed that.
William Dean thanks for responding. My Ring Doorbell Pro 2 way audio works fine. I was thinking about Kuna for my backyard light fixture, but I'm concerned about the 116 field of view as I believe it may not show when people are attempting to enter a door or widows, and by you say you can't connect when you get an alert concerns me. How about the subscription and being able to view recored video or live view?
in the uk i have the battry witch is the larger verson but you can use power the sound is fine and the person on the out side can here me fine i and can them my only nicel is log in when it is actovated you have to open the app then open the live feed the press talk would be nice if it just poped up when the bell is pressed i can see the hole street as mine is on there weges clear pick battrey lasts about 3 months depending on use i take the actavtion mode off that help the night vistion if fine clear as well
Considering buying the Kuna. Can I reconnect to my wifi access while I'm away, if it loses net connection? I'd be installing on acabin 7 hours away. Cabin has no router just wifi access.. Thanks in advance.
You can not save the videos from Ring ? plus there is a monthly fee ? Logitech Home Security is one of the best ..saves all videos to your computer with No monthly fee ..

Linksys velop has 2.4 and 5 both I just don't know why linksys won't talk to Kuna? It doesn't connect to Kuna! And it s been 4 days and no luck. I contacted Kuna they only sent me email telling me the same thing I have been doing for 4 days. The customer service is suck!

So if somebody comes by near the light the motion detection will notified my cell phone.Is that right ? Will my phone automatically make a sound or show the video who at my door ?
yes the motion detection will make your app on your phone alert. For my Android phone I then just do a pull down of main screen to tap on and respond to the alert, which takes me to the video of who is at the door. But if I take way to long to respond to the alert it just takes me to the app.
Ok William so you are saying. the video don't come on your phone the moment that the motion detector see somebody in front of your light .You mean you have to pull down your screen to see the video ? Ok do your phone makes a sound to alert you so you can pull down the screen to see who at your door.I've galaxy s5 I've done all the settings what Kuna customer service and I still can't notification on my phone and my motion detection work on and off.If you can tell me what kind of setting you have on your phone.Maybe I can get crazy light working right.Thanks.
Nathan correct, the video does not come up on your phone immediately unless you go into the kuna app. you can do that by tapping on your kuna icon or using the pull down at the top of your Android phone. Make sure to enable alerts so your phone will be alerted that is in the settings of your kuna app. that particular setting is under camera settings. if it is already enabled and you are not getting alerts there might be something wrong with your phone or your light hard to say which.
If the audio is so low in the ring pro doorbell, does anyone know if the same problem is found in the bigger ring doorbell "non-pro" version? Anyhow, thank you for this video. I subscribed and gave you a thumb up too.
orestesdd actually the non-pro version is much louder and does not have this issue. But I have also been advised to replace my doorbell transformer with a higher voltage version to increase the volume I have yet to do this but when I do I will report back here.
By the way, I will get a new construction home at the end of August, and I wonder what kind of voltage the original doorbell will have to determine if I should buy the "pro" or the "non-pro" version. don't see how the ring is any good for security, ain't nothing for someone to steal or break your expensive camera if they really had bad intentions. most shots from the ring, you'll just see the person walking away, because it's so slow to start recording.
jmac2050 Well I know the battery one is slow to record as it’s in sleep mode to save on battery power and when it senses movement it them wakes up and starts recording. How much better this one is as it’s always powered?
Do you get alerts for free only at home when you are on your wi-fi or do you get alerts and can see video when you are not at home when you have only the free service?
According to my HOA I am required to have only WHITE fixtures on my townhouse. I cant seem to find them... 3 hours of pages looking for them, hell, I could have painted a black one faster, but at their price point, why should I? Guess they dont want my business...
You mentioned on the Kuna app the free account they let you store the video 3-6 hours? Did they change that? When I got mine about a year ago the free accounts were only 2 hours, and you have a download limit of 3 videos per month.
I think I was guessing at how many hours it holds for, seemed like 3 to 6 hours... but never noticed a download limit... maybe I just don't download enough to find that limit.
Thanks. I had actually paid for a 1 month premium when going on vacation so I would not miss anything. On a side note recently I had some suspicious activity from a landscaping truck on my driveway cam, and I even did a manual recording and set off the alarm when he would not respond with the canned "hi can I help you?" message a few times, then he drove off. But the problem is the kuna app split the whole recording up into 1 minute videos. Now i'm trying to download and edit into 1 video then save on you tube.. what a nightmare. Does yours do the same thing when recording video? I've reached out to support but have yet to hear back from them.
Oh wow, didn't know it split them into one minute segments. I actually do not have the paid version. The free version has been fine for me thus far. Let us know what they say if they do get back to you.
I viewed the video saw there was pluses and minus with both. however, my recommendation is neither one! I tried the ring and got spotty service in sound and quality, video was too pixelated to see any type of quality in visual. so really could not tell who was at the door, nor could I hear them all that well. with the kuna light, at least I got a decent quality picture, sound is low unless you are speaking directly into or up to the light fixture. notification has a huge delay in time. ex: someone coming up to my door and entering my house going pretty much all the way to the back yard before I received the alert that someone was at my door. NOT GOOD! Also, DON'T receive ANY ALERTS even when I am a block away that someone is at my door.. SO WHAT IS THE POINT of having this product. NONE really. I have to say support tried to help, but came up with zero in why this did not work for me. About the only good feature of the product is that I can turn the light on and off from somewhere else and I can sound the alarm. so this gives me only half if that of what I was looking for.
I watch this video close and I am disappointed, I have two ring door bells and they both work fine, the audio is very good on my ring as well, and I also noticed you have your ring down low were mine is up a little higher, anyway my opinion of ring to anyone is I would definitely recommend it
Sorry for the 8 month reply to your question, just seen your message now, I have two ring door bell but don't no what model I have, just some facts here, ring has good night vision, the kuna does not, ring is 30 dollars a year and the kuna is twice as much a year or more, ring has a 1080p camera, the kuna only has 720p camera, the ring speaker on both of my door bells are 100 hundred, mind you that I have Comcast for my internet, ring also has motion alerts, not sure if that was mentioned in your video, with ring I can access the the audio at anytime, with kuna you can not, also with the ring, if something happens on my property I can broadcast it to other people with ring door bells so every one can watch out for a bad person and their have been arrest made with that cool feature, if you have anymore questions I will check back.
Jayden Mania unfortunately you can not. As I mentioned in the video even tech support said this locked in volume for the person standing at the front door is a current complaint/problem for customers.
Bought this one because the older version ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQ had was really choppy and would disconnect from the wifi ALOT, was not catching everything and every week j had to charge it. So far the picture quality on this one is exceptional. I also bought a solar panel with it so I will see how this all turns out.

Its good to have a cloud record you can go back to check if necessary. The ring door bell which runs off doorbell dc can be dicey on older home wiring, insufficient voltage can be troublesome, I guess that's the ease of install compromise. They still have to cut down on the things power consumption, it gets quite warm, probably leads to the rest of the problems. If Kuna made a wireless button it may solve most things even if it ran off the dc.
The doorbell voltage is almost certainly not the limiting factor in the extremely low audio output. Instead, it is the physical constraints of the Ring itself and the inability to include a speaker driver of sufficient size to generate adequate sound pressure levels. I am considering "breaking into" my Ring Pro to try to port the audio out to a box with an amplifier and a speaker of considerably greater power and size. I share your frustration with The Ring in this, and several other regards but anticipated the low audio output before purchasing it but got it anyway as there were some really good features. Now on to hacking the device, itself.

After 30 days the thing turns to dumb mode, Monthly subscription to change options like motion detection area, NO night vision. Records 1 min/30 sec so anything after that you are SOL and only keeps for 2.5 hours after it happens . And if you bought this from a non authorized dealer they will not warranty your equipment. Mine just went bad and I tried to get it warrantied and lord behold they wouldn't, 2 month of use and they don't even have an option to fix it.. All you get is Thank you for giving a kuna a try!!

True, no night vision in the Kuna, but of course the big Duhhhh to that is it is a porch light, so it illuminates the area, hence no need for night vision. Yes, the free version of the cloud service, like all others is rather sparse. I have the subscription service so they are kept for up to a month and not 2.5 hours. Like many products, if you purchase from a non authorized dealer you can expect to get poor to no service, rather common in the electronic industry. All that said I'm leaning towards a nest video hello doorbell.
Great review. I actually think the low volume is a good way to get someone to put their face right up to the camera. Also, regarding the number of taps to get to a live view on the ring, I think that's because you can have multiple devices and they don't want to assume that you want to see live video from one camera over another - that is a simple fix though, have an option in the app. However, live view drains the battery for devices that have them (from what I hear), so that is also a concern.

I love Kuna, but the lack of a white model is really surprising. I asked them about it almost a year ago and they said it was coming at some point. The one thing that bugs me about the Kuna is the viewing angle of the camera, it doesn't have enough range for me to be able to aim it far enough downwards to cover my entire porch :(

super helpful review - thank you! like you, i was trying to find a comprehensive comparison of the two and your video is really the only thing i could find. we need a new light for the back door, and we live on a busy street, so knowing audio quality is important. have you used the talk-back feature of the kuna or have you only used the ring talk back? i see ring has a flood light but aesthetically not attractive compared to the kuna lights. and initial output cost is less with kuna as well. i wish the swath was larger with kuna but i see they offer supplemental cameras as options as well.

I've installed a Kuna light before but have yet to use RING. In the market for either and it looks like I'll be going with Kuna again. The remote sound effects are hilarious and worth it IMHO. Lisa Dabreau Under settings there is a sensitivity slider, 1-100. Use that to decide how sensitive to movement you would like. I have mine at about 85

Actually it was sort of a pain in the ass. But it's holding up. Taking it apart to paint it and all was annoying but I didn't really have a good workbench to do this project.

Herakles I don't remember if the glass was masked off or came out.. But I think it came out. Just used spray paint for outdoor use. Dupont I think.

How's the Kuna honestly working now?
So far so good, only thing I would say is when it comes to gettng an alert and then logging on with your phone it takes longer to bring up than I would like, but honestly the ring video doorbell for some reason won't connect to the server if someone rings my doorbell, but if I just randomly view the camera it connects up fine. So I'll eventually try and uninstall and reainstall the app to see if that helps. Kuna still has much better two way audio, but the ring non pro works better with audio than the pro version, no clue if they fixed that.
William Dean thanks for responding. My Ring Doorbell Pro 2 way audio works fine. I was thinking about Kuna for my backyard light fixture, but I'm concerned about the 116 field of view as I believe it may not show when people are attempting to enter a door or widows, and by you say you can't connect when you get an alert concerns me. How about the subscription and being able to view recored video or live view?

in the uk i have the battry witch is the larger verson but you can use power the sound is fine and the person on the out side can here me fine i and can them my only nicel is log in when it is actovated you have to open the app then open the live feed the press talk would be nice if it just poped up when the bell is pressed i can see the hole street as mine is on there weges clear pick battrey lasts about 3 months depending on use i take the actavtion mode off that help the night vistion if fine clear as well
Considering buying the Kuna. Can I reconnect to my wifi access while I'm away, if it loses net connection? I'd be installing on acabin 7 hours away. Cabin has no router just wifi access.. Thanks in advance.

I just a new wifi ' Linksys" and my kuna was connected with my old wifi after I changed the new wifi I cant connected and I did try many time thru my phone but didnt work.

So if somebody comes by near the light the motion detection will notified my cell phone.Is that right ? Will my phone automatically make a sound or show the video who at my door ?
yes the motion detection will make your app on your phone alert. For my Android phone I then just do a pull down of main screen to tap on and respond to the alert, which takes me to the video of who is at the door. But if I take way to long to respond to the alert it just takes me to the app.
So what do your phone do .Does it make a sound to alert you.If so what setting can I adjust that to on my kuna app.

Nathan correct, the video does not come up on your phone immediately unless you go into the kuna app. you can do that by tapping on your kuna icon or using the pull down at the top of your Android phone. Make sure to enable alerts so your phone will be alerted that is in the settings of your kuna app. that particular setting is under camera settings. if it is already enabled and you are not getting alerts there might be something wrong with your phone or your light hard to say which.

orestesdd actually the non-pro version is much louder and does not have this issue. But I have also been advised to replace my doorbell transformer with a higher voltage version to increase the volume I have yet to do this but when I do I will report back here.
By the way, I will get a new construction home at the end of August, and I wonder what kind of voltage the original doorbell will have to determine if I should buy the "pro" or the "non-pro" version. I will keep an eye on your video blog or vlog to see if you have something new to report. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my question.
don't see how the ring is any good for security, ain't nothing for someone to steal or break your expensive camera if they really had bad intentions. most shots from the ring, you'll just see the person walking away, because it's so slow to start recording.

Well I know the battery one is slow to record as it’s in sleep mode to save on battery power and when it senses movement it them wakes up and starts recording. How much better this one is as it’s always powered?

You mentioned on the Kuna app the free account they let you store the video 3-6 hours? Did they change that? When I got mine about a year ago the free accounts were only 2 hours, and you have a download limit of 3 videos per month.
I think I was guessing at how many hours it holds for, seemed like 3 to 6 hours... but never noticed a download limit... maybe I just don't download enough to find that limit.

On a side note recently I had some suspicious activity from a landscaping truck on my driveway cam, and I even did a manual recording and set off the alarm when he would not respond with the canned "hi can I help you?" message a few times, then he drove off. But the problem is the kuna app split the whole recording up into 1 minute videos. Now i'm trying to download and edit into 1 video then save on you tube.. what a nightmare. Does yours do the same thing when recording video? I've reached out to support but have yet to hear back from them.
Oh wow, didn't know it split them into one minute segments. I actually do not have the paid version. The free version has been fine for me thus far. Let us know what they say if they do get back to you.

I viewed the video saw there was pluses and minus with both. however, my recommendation is neither one! I tried the ring and got spotty service in sound and quality, video was too pixelated to see any type of quality in visual. so really could not tell who was at the door, nor could I hear them all that well. with the kuna light, at least I got a decent quality picture, sound is low unless you are speaking directly into or up to the light fixture. notification has a huge delay in time. ex: someone coming up to my door and entering my house going pretty much all the way to the back yard before I received the alert that someone was at my door. NOT GOOD! Also, DON'T receive ANY ALERTS even when I am a block away that someone is at my door.. SO WHAT IS THE POINT of having this product. NONE really. I have to say support tried to help, but came up with zero in why this did not work for me. About the only good feature of the product is that I can turn the light on and off from somewhere else and I can sound the alarm. so this gives me only half if that of what I was looking for.

I watch this video close and I am disappointed, I have two ring door bells and they both work fine, the audio is very good on my ring as well, and I also noticed you have your ring down low were mine is up a little higher, anyway my opinion of ring to anyone is I would definitely recommend it

Sorry for the 8 month reply to your question, just seen your message now, I have two ring door bell but don't no what model I have, just some facts here, ring has good night vision, the kuna does not, ring is 30 dollars a year and the kuna is twice as much a year or more, ring has a 1080p camera, the kuna only has 720p camera, the ring speaker on both of my door bells are 100 hundred, mind you that I have Comcast for my internet, ring also has motion alerts, not sure if that was mentioned in your video, with ring I can access the the audio at anytime, with kuna you can not, also with the ring, if something happens on my property I can broadcast it to other people with ring door bells so every one can watch out for a bad person and their have been arrest made with that cool feature, if you have anymore questions I will check back.

Jayden Mania unfortunately you can not. As I mentioned in the video even tech support said this locked in volume for the person standing at the front door is a current complaint/problem for customers.
Bought this one because the older version ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQ had was really choppy and would disconnect from the wifi ALOT, was not catching everything and every week j had to charge it. So far the picture quality on this one is exceptional. I also bought a solar panel with it so I will see how this all turns out.
