Randy Meisner (March 8, 1946 - July 26, 2023), aged 77
Glenn Frey (November 6, 1948 - January 18, 2016), aged 67
You both will be remembered as legends.

As far as your claim that Joe Walsh has NEVER played that part goes. I saw the Eagles in Atlanta on The Long Road Our of Eden tour and they played this song and I saw Joe Walsh play it. and your supposed "proof" the vid of the CMA show, in that vid, yes Stuart Smith is on stage but standing right next to him playing a guitar is Joe Walsh

With new technology available, the Eagles could have updated their sound for their 2007 album “Long Road Out Of Eden,” but decided to stick to the country-rock sound that made them one of the most popular bands in rock history. With a shared lead vocal by Don Henley and Glenn Frey, “How Long” sounds like it could have come from the 1970s… because it did❕
The song was penned by J.D. Souther in 1969. The Eagles even performed it live in the ‘70s, but they didn’t record it back then.
A throwback to the Eagles days when they sang about outlaws and desperados, “How Long” (2007) is sung from the perspective of a prisoner asking his girl how long she’ll wait for him to get out.
Six long years in production, “Long Road Out Of Eden” was the Eagles seventh studio album and their first record in 28 years.
In 2008, the piece won the Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. 💚🦅💜

I have rediscovered the eagles all over again a brilliant band.
This song always reminds me of the great relationships I have had with the American People wherever I’ve met them and ultimately their culture. For most part, they have always been very welcoming, hospitable and included me in anything that they did as well as shared their food/drink with me.
The great works of the Eagles are to me one of the embodiments of American Culture and Values.

My mom (RIP 2021) introduced me to Eagles as far back as I can remember. Peaceful Easy Feeling, Tequila Sunrise and Hotel California are melodies and lyrics I knew long before 1st grade. The harmony is what music should be in this one mans opinion. Long Rock Eagles.

@@m.j.vandermark4614 if you check the album credits, he will be there. He's not an official member of the band - meaning an owner of the band as a corporation. They have had him as a hired guitarist live and in the studio. He contributed heavily on this album and essentially has been a guitarist with the band since 2001 on all of the tours.
