One of the greatest rock bands. it wasn’t just Glenn Frey and Don Henley that were the one - two punch lead vocalist, but they all could sing. I enjoyed listening to them growing up and still listening to them today as well.
I will put this band against any band that ever Existed, Three successful solo careers, This music will be played hundreds of years from now, And we got to witness.
As much as i appreciate Joe's singing and playing the real highlight in this song is the exceptional driving bass and drum beat as neither miss a beat and this really highlights this slow rock song
Was with them back stage for concert. They were really good but. could do without thr brass section. They are a great group of musicians and I always had a great time hanging out with them.

I saw them and Deep Purple and Fleetwood Mac in Indianapolis Indiana back in the 77’s at market square Arena that was a hell of a great show and I even had front row seats we had a great time and a great show had a blast party 🎈 down there
I watched an interview, I think it was Don Henley, he said something like this, "We came to the studio one morning and as soon as we opened the door, we heard this awesome rhythm we had never heard before. Joe had arrived early and was working out something that came to him the night before." The band liked it and went to work fleshing it out, that is how we got Rocky Mountain Way.

I saw the eagles in concert for hotel California tour with Jimmy buffet opening. Back in those days even if you didn't smoke pot you were stoned, so midway through Joe crushes Rocky Mt way, and literally, the crowd went wild. No prerecorded backing tracks, no auto tune, just incredible music. We had 6th row floor seats. Worth the 8 bucks for the ticket for sure !!!!!
