    If your simulation don't work after baking, just control ur flow object . Maybe you scale down it on the Y axis at negative values.If it is negative,pls turn it to positive value.

    This is the best wave simulation I’ve seen since doing Blender. Now I want to try to put this on a beach. Making a beach as been hard.

    Your videos are so good, especially for liquids. Must have a look if you did motion/camera-tracking too. Have problems with errors there. Hopefully Stackexchange has a solution for this...

    Have you tried using the new cycles point rendering system for the foam and spray particles? I think they are much faster to render and consume much less memory! They are less customizable (or at least I don't know enough to do so), but being so small, maybe you can't even notice this issue.

      Yes I heard about new cycles point rendering system. It has released in Blender 3.1. But I really don't know enough to make foam and spray particles with it. You can share if you know any tutorial and source about it.

    This was extremely helpful, I thank you. One question: I find my "water drops" that come from my flow sources are much larger than yours in the video and I wish they would be smaller, what is the way to control this? Thanks!

      Thank u for ur nice comment.If u want to make smaller water drops, u can increase resolution division value. In this tutorial I keep it at 160 , u can set this value to 256.But, it will take longer time to bake.

    After adding the Spray and Foam collection to particles, the spheres don't show up. Pretty sure I followed the tutorial exactly. Is there something I could try?

      You can already generate rocks in Blender using the extra object addon

    beautiful render. Wondering if you have any suggestions for Eevee? Cycles takes so long on my computer, it's a potato. (PS very appreciative of your videos as is, thank you, but another vote for using your own voice if possible. The imminent robot invasion frightens me enough as it is, would rather believe you are a real human, sorry robots)

      Unfortunately,you can not get such a realistic render with eevee. Maybe you can close to realistic with some eevee settings. Otherwise it takes longer time to bake with cycles. I would like to use my own voice but my english not good at speaking. Also I need silent place. Unfortunately I dont have a opportunity for now. Thanks for ur nice comment.)

      i figured out why. if anyone is having this problem its because my render engine was set to evee not cycles. thank you!

    Awesome stuff!! When I switch to solid view after baking the mesh data it still looks before when previously baking the data? It looks like mesh but its colorful like weight data (Blue to Red) And I can't change to wireframe or other rendering modes

      In the particle tab of your domain, disable the liquid particle view in the viewport. It's the small monitor icon next to the camera icon.

    really helpful! But I couldn't use it because my water simulation render with cycle took 30second to render, but with this foam ans splash, takes 78 minutes to render one frame :(

      If u use cache type as modular, firstly bake the fluid data, then bake the mesh data. If u use cache type as all, then u can bake the simulation at one time. After baking,u should see the fluid mesh and the domain disappear.

      when you made the suitable flow and domain size, it will change automatically after enter the resolution, just try reducing the size of flow cube

      sorry its late but for those who need it, musgrave has been swapped to "noise texture" in 4.1 and you just change it to the multifractal setting instead of fbm, itll require some tweaking though.

    If ur fluid is not showing make sure ur fluid object has the same distance off the domain as that little cube that appears in the corner of the domain. Learned from exp. U wont find this on google. Trust me.

      under flow object there is an option flow source to surface emmission, turn that up from 0 to 0.8

      I hope u use cycles render.If u use eevee, it has different settings for water shading.

    Like why are you talking about scaling the flow object but not that we mustn't scale it to the negative area. All these Blender tutorials are full of missing infos, it's crazy

      A general rule of thumb is to never scale anything into negative values in blender.
