5 things to know about Bruins’ first-round pick Dean Letourneau - www.boston.com...
What do you think of the pick?
One size does not fit all. Just let the kid play hockey and develop. No expectations- just great hopes. It's his journey. Let him, fill it out himself...doing an outstanding job so far. Cheers!
Smart kid with size and talent, love it
Yup. Hopefully, he will develop into a top six
I like what I’m hearing about the young man. Let him develop and see what he brings in 2027. It’s exciting just to have a first round selection.
Take all the time he needs
Agree yet he might bring it by 2026... Because Bruins will be working with him from day one at BC.
His learning curves will be shortened.
We're talking about putting him in Providence, not the NHL. It'll depend on what he wants to do.
✌️
100% agree
Seems like he has a great head on his shoulders in all the interviews I’ve seen
I agree. Very mature for his age and knows what he wants. Will be great for him to develop at BC.
Thrilled. They can start working with him right away at Boston College. He's essentially a quasi undrafted player - love the undrafted guys.
Fans need to understand some of this hype around some of these players - you don't want the ones that have already peaked.. but the ones that are surging. We call them "coachable."
There's nothing more difficult than trying to coach a hot shot kid who thinks they know it all or comes into the league with bad habits.
Sennecke going sooner than later was not a surprise to this fool. He's a surging player. At the right time and the right place
We signed Bobby Orr out of Ontario at 12 years old!
Yeah he could be a home run
You have never coached a day in your life fool..stop pretending to know anything about hockey... especially bruin hockey..
You're out of your depth
@@bruinsdiehards like how he moves, coordination, knows he's not ripe, yet wants to learn...
Look at those point totals you talk about!
He could be singing another tune
We lost something with Zdeno Chara's absence. The added wingspan on the defense. Grit
Teams scored on us but were more challenged physically without checking.
Got worse after we let Nick Ritchie go
as far as draft numbers?
Bergeron # 45
Chara #50-something (NYI)
Marchand - #70 ish
Krejci #63.
This isn't the greatest draft year but ...
we're getting him young.
It's not legal to sign 12 year olds anymore!
finally sweeney gets it right.picks a high scoring,big,no.1 center then next pick fudges it completely, taking a defenseman.they need offense sweeney you putz!-take all canadian forwards.back to hating you.
I love the first pick, but dont know much about the second but none of these kids will make an impact for a couple of years
So two monster centers and korpisalo is a bad trade??
Well hoping Dean turns into a great player
@@bruinsdiehards everyone was complaining about the return for a year of Ullmark.
Bruins did very well.
I’m over the trade now as long as Korpi plays well I’m good
