Yes in the bag the savage center cluster savage three speed exactly the same as the new xl and maybe the upgraded hardend gear from an octane many people use and standard savage diff’s👍 thanks for the video
my favorite item on the savage the 2 or 3 speed and even reverce its in the manueel the base settings for 2 speed , the 3 speed you need to replace the compleet cluster en the top set to , in the 3 speed its first clutch (1/2) is 2,5 /3 turns out from closed and the 2e clutch (2/3 gear) flush with the edge of the hole great video man don't see the gear box apart often nice one todd 👍😉 by the way that plastic spurgear will not hold with that LRP .32 it will melt get the metal one as backup 😉 it is a beast i love it
Great repair vid! If you’re trying to set the 2 speed clutch by the manual just know it’s pretty vague. In my experience with the Savage, 3 turns out from BDC is a great starting point to set the clutch. Then you can fine tune the tranny even further based on your engine tune afterwards. Looking forward to the next vid! 👍🏼
I agree SavageRobRC the manual guide I use as a starting point to adjust to my preferences it’s a pain on the new xl as to adjust 1st to 2nd you have to dismantle the trans you can only adjust 2nd to 3rd externally seems a bit backwards to me😂
