1.MDF - (Medium-density fibreboard) :
is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming it into panels by applying high temperature and pressure.[1] MDF is generally more dense than plywood. It is made up of separated fibres, but can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. It is stronger, and more dense, than particle board.
2. HDF - (Hardboard, also called high-density fiberboard ):
,is a type of fiberboard, which is an engineered wood product. It is used in furniture and in the construction industry.
3. PVC foamboard :
is made up of an interpenetrating polymer network between PVC and polyurea. Now, the manufacturing process has become much more involved. First, polyvinyl chloride and polyurea are mixed together under controlled conditions.
4. Plywood :
is a material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.
Softwood plywood made from spruce
All plywoods bind resin and wood fibre sheets (cellulose cells are long, strong and thin) to form a composite material. This alternation of the grain is called cross-graining and has several important benefits: it reduces the tendency of wood to split when nailed at the edges; it reduces expansion and shrinkage, providing improved dimensional stability; and it makes the strength of the panel consistent across all directions. There is usually an odd number of plies, so that the sheet is balanced-this reduces warping. Because plywood is bonded with grains running against one another and with an odd number of composite parts, it has high stiffness perpendicular to the grain direction of the surface ply.
Smaller, thinner, and lower quality plywoods may only have their plies (layers) arranged at right angles to each other. Some better-quality plywood products will by design have five plies in steps of 45 degrees (0, 45, 90, 135, and 180 degrees), giving strength in multiple axes.

There 2 major considerations:
1-Material used
2-Capability of carpenter/Designer/Shop/Company
I suggest, check several installations, before you decide on the vendor and also material.
PVC is not low cost and also not the correct material. For wardrobe, best is wood or Laminated Plywood. I strongly suggest, check yourself several installations, and don’t go by UA-cam videos and Facebook posts .

*environment friendly
*long lasting
*aesthetics
*safety
*keep away bugs
*scratch proof
*Water and heat resistant and the list goes on ..
It is your hard-earned money. Plan carefully.

@@DrInterior When its in regular contact with moisture, eventually 304 Grade stainless steel also will get oxidized and rusted. But we can assure 316 grade is better in such conditions. The most better option is 316L grade which is being used for marine applications including architectural works for yachts etc
